At first I thought the mimic/doppelganger not mimicking ya'lls voices was less effective because they can't lure you into a false sense of security as easily but now I'm realizing that it's actually way scarier because you know it's not one of ya'll but you don't always know exactly where it is or if it's following right behind you. It definitely feels more fear inducing especially when it sounds so close!
2:45 this is not "i'm gonna kill you" gesture, i think it is "stop talking/cut it out" gesture, maybe for when there's a monster nearby who gets angry with sounds.

I like this game! It's funny yet scary, and it triggers my thalassophobia and claustrophobia just enough to make it thrilling. Requiring all four players to run the ship when underway is the worst and best mechanic lol
