Anyone interested in Prince Sado and what happened to him there is a film called "The Throne". I don't know how accurate it really is but it's a good movie and it does a good job depicting the situation. There was also a drama or two about it.
Beautiful palace, I've watched lots of period related kdramas and to think that these places had actual events happen in them. Some, were even forbidden to enter! 😳 It's a beautiful place.
