Jimmy Dean Synthetic/acrylic resins, gum Arabic and even eggs. But that’s really old school.

Yes just pump a lil more
As in markers? Yeah you can, but it's pretty messy because it often drips from the end of the plastic not the end of the nib. You won't get the same results as you would with your drip mop.
What do you mean? Most mops on the market have a valve. I cant think of a "graffiti" purposed mop that doesnt have a valve

Idk if you talked about opacity. But dyes are usually transparent or translucent and most paints are opaque. And is it just my bottle of flo pen, but that violet is like blue af.
Yeah I've noticed most purples are near blues, gentian violet which is a common purple dye just looks blue when you have nothing to compare it to. I usually add bit of red dye to my purple
stove one yeah I’ve gone to just diluting purple base black inks. They make really gorgeous purple staining stuff. Most black commercial colorants and pigments use a purple base.

For what I know the OTR Flowpen ink is very UV-resistant and also other dye Inks like the Grog buff proof ink are UV-resistant

Art primo has a wide range of great products, but im in Canada and $30 for shipping is a lil much and also im not sure if its cad or usd. Is it reasonable to charge $30 shipping due to the pressurized products or is it still a little much? I just feel like for all ur great prices once i was ready to buy but the shipping broke my budget and i didn't want to pay more shipping than products.

what kind of disolvent is used in both the paints and dyes?
in the flowpen-ink it is: Methoxy, Propanol, +Ethanol and interestingly there´s not only dye in it but resin as well...
i have a paint here for example: Soutip Paint(same company): Propanol, Propylene Glycol Phenyl Ether (the solvents)
Thank you for the info. I was honestly expecting something simple like mix pigment with paint thinner,just so i could make it at home haha
@@2pac1411 i understand ^^ you CAN mix paints, as you can buy them in a hardware store with paint thinner or acetone, that works- but make sure you use the right solvent! and the problem about these homemade paints is - they run dry pretty quickly, if you "store" them in a plastic-bottle or a plastic marker ( i suppose thats the reason why they are sold in a aluminium-bucket.) so...if you do so, make sure you "consume" within...hmm lets say about in the next two weeks...my suggestion: if you want to: buy some empty bottles as they are used for the e-pipe-liquid stuff - fill them with regular paint from the hardware store , and if you want to you can use thinner as well ... these are great applicators for art on the ground or hardcore-dripping art on walls or whatever ^^
@@franzwurmdobler7813 dude thanks so much for your input. Means a lot. I have experience with bad storing-the mixture actually ate up my nib on a mop lol. I usually just mix pigment with oil based paint thinner,but what solvent would you suggest with it? Just some ethanol or something different?
Hey!! Can u plz help me with this... I want to make alcohol inks at home.. For that I need permanent markers but I couldn't find them.. 😑 I've been offered oil based permanent markers... If I use those would that make any difference? After all they are permanent ones! But still I don't want to take risk bcz I don't wanna waste my money.. Plz reply
