    You Jordanians are lucky to have such a wonderful and enlightened woman as queen. I've been to Amman for 3 days on a work-related trip 2 years ago and i remember how hospitable and welcoming everybody was. Greetings from Romania!

    I recently wrote to Queen Rania and told her that I consider he to be Jordan's Gift to the world, and I truly believe that. She is smart, and is very supportive of the 1Goal program to bring education to those who don't currently get the opportunity to attend schooling of any kind. Her little one's cute too. :)

    Im muslim and i don't wear a head scarf
    i think that wearing a headscarf should be your own choice and not one that someone decides for you. Because when you were a headscarf you have to show respect for it.

    @smosleh Yet, at the same time, you're the one who utters words of prejudice and hatred around you. Not I. Not her.
    At the same time, she's the one who works for a better world, while you only work to keep yourself away from it.

    The Queen said " we first have to understand why the resentment is there...it doesn't mean we agree with it"...and she went on to say " the US support for Israel..and the Iraqi war...etc"...
    Well...your majesty..You may not "agree" with the resentment in the Arab world due to the US policy toward the Palestinian-Israeli issue...But this Arab-American DO agree and says it is in the US national interest to stop supporting Israel and be even handed in the conflict.

    @smosleh At one point, it's useless to argue. You believe one thing, I believe another thing, Rania belives something else.
    You don't know if she's manipulative or not, nor do I, nor do you know if your beliefs are absolutely correct or not. It's just a matter of subjectivity.
    I'm honestly not really sure why you'd judge her based on suspicions.

    @smosleh I'm not one to be interested in female beauty in that way. You say that it's not the purpose of beauty, right?
    Why? Because it was read in an old text? Or because of laws written by people who had no idea what the world would look like today?
    If your god gave you the ability to think freely, to feel, do you think he'd want you to cast away that ability, and blindly follow what you've been told? (Not saying YOU do)

    @jstele I'm with you on this. I think 3333 has serious issues. Needs professional help. And is a racist.
    And if he listened to what the Queen has been saying on this matter he would realize she was saying it's about CHOICE.
    And about this video clip...I think the Queen handled herself well. Katie not so well. Imposing herself on the Queen wanting to hold the 4 month (at the time) baby. What was the Queen to say? "Not today!?". Putting her on the spot.

    what is wrong with a woman showing her beauty anyway? if she is proud of what god gave her then why cover it up?
    if a woman wants to cover up it should be her choice.
    anyone who is truly religious would not be hateful and at the end of the day god will decide her fate, nobody should pass judgement. everyone is equal.

    Queen Rania is an eloquent speaker, but her answers and responses are very robotic and lead to no doable outcome. Her aim seems to present herself impreesively and that is about it.

  • @3333sweetie
    @3333sweetie 14 лет назад

    @jissa683 she PRETENDS to be a good will ambassador. ANYONE with fame and power can go around the world giving lectures in human rights, equality for women, etc. But in Jordan, women are 2nd class citizens; Palestinaisn have been revoked of their citizenship, ppl who question her husband are jailed and tortured. She's afraud, trust me. She's evil

    Everyone addresses her as "Her Majesty", which I think is incorrect, since this title is reserved for a Head of State in a monarchy. She's a "Royal Highness".

  • @jstele
    @jstele 14 лет назад

    She supports free will. What's wrong with that? I don't know whether those events happened. But couldn't you understand why Jews would not be allowed citizenship? They took land from other Arab countries, not just Palestine. If Jews became citizens of Jordan, that would help Israel expand their empire. They have already started crowding out the Palestinians in their settlements. Where is she supposed to acknowledge those events? She is Palestinian herself.

    @GuiltyOfBeingMuslim Moreover, non muslism have to pay a tax for living under sharia. Is tghat fair? Nope. Also, I agree, you can do whatever you want privately, but in the public secotr, there should be strict separation of religion and state. You can govern humanely w/o religion. If saudi isn't governed by sharia, then WHAT is it governed by?

    @GuiltyOfBeingMuslim we Do hav laws and values bu there are ALWAYS goign to be criminals EVERTYWHERE. You cannot stop crime 100% but u need laws to do your best for that. Religion is a private thing, NOT meant for incorporation into the law field. Humans need social order, and religiosn doesn;t solve manythings. In muslim nations, muslim women are kileld in the name of honor and men are set free or rarely punished. That's sick. No sharia. No way.

    @GuiltyOfBeingMuslim Also, based on the Quran, men can beat women. 4:34 of the quran says "If you fear high-handedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them." This is wrong. NO hittign should be allowed. Sick. The taliban, whcih was based on the quran, failed too. We want a civilzed society, NOT a barbaric society. Religion is all theory anyway, NOT proven science.

    You may not approve of the way she dresses, but your hateful reaction is more than just disapproval.. It's really personal to you and when it's that personal, the problem is really about you and not her. Because your reaction is way out of proportion to her dress. What does it say in the Koran about how a woman should dress? Even Muslims disagree about the hijab. You don't have to like her dress, but neither do you need to be hateful about it. Hate is an ugly thing.

Moreover, you're in Australia, If muslim nations are great to live in, why are you in the West? go back to your own nation, if it's so great. No combination of religion and state. That's final.
