This show is a rare portrayal of a heartwarming, innocent, and arguably realistic love story involving lgbtq characters. It's really a gem amongst an endless pile of rushed and forced romances with a lot of noncon/dubcon scenes/tropes, which is quite unfortunate. Things like forced kisses and rushed romances are such popular tropes in lgbtq portrayals that it can lead to harmful biases (even if they're for comedic purposes). Shows like Kieta Hatsukoi normalizes lgbtq relationships and make them out to be just like any regular hetero relationships.
This show gives me hope that we'll have more of these good and positive lgbtq relationship portrayals in the future.

All the latest dramas are like that, at least the ones I watched (cherry magic and to my star for example)

I loved the moments Ida took stand for Aoki and respecting his feelings and get it cleared too.
I maintain that this can cleanse your soul. It's supportive, wholesome, and full of all the behaviors that should be practiced every day in relationships. Communication, understanding, caring, thoughtfulness. These are the right ones.
I never was a big BL fan, but this... I love them together so much, they are the cutest.
The funniest scenes in this drama was when Aoki went to the trash and grabbed a garbage bag while Hashimoto is with him because he said he's "trash" and when the team assistant from the other school asked who he was for Ida and he jealously said "he's his classmate" (Ida asked him if he's angry and he abruptly said no lmao) Aoki is so freaking campy i love him lol
