I just sold my Xbox One and got a used Xbox 360 and suddenly I'm back playing video games every day. I really think gaming as a fun thing to do peaked with the 360.

Without going into my typical CGR gush, I just wanted to say that you guys are really incredible when it comes to choosing the footage in your videos. i've watched a couple of video reviews, but the footage was largely stale. That was a really enjoyable video, though it won't influence me to buy the game, since I was buying it the second I saw the words 'Forza Horizon'. Great review so far

Gotta say Mark, for the bulk of your racing game reviews usually consisting of crashes and flips and just recklessness, you're a pretty damn good driver... You definetly slaughtered a bunch of D-bags with a Corvette.
Once you put it on simulation steering, it feels very similar to Forza 4, but you can tell they made the cars feel more solid. They also tweaked it so that it's easier to weave through traffic.
Oh yes, NFS High Stakes. Spent WEEKS just playing that game on my PC. I still have it in its box and I still play it. Porsche 2000/Unleashed was superb too and still my favourite NFS.
I put Tiesto, Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, Dash Berlin, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Gabriel & Dresden, Ferry Corsten, Avicii, SHM, etc. to my GT5. It gives me the option so I don't have to rely on predetermined music, but it's nice when good songs are already there.
Yeah, that's right, i like Gran Turismo series too, but I think it has ended with GT4. Altrought I'm waiting for GT6 to see if it can catch up with newer racing games.
They're trying something new. It lets them experiment with new features, such as the day/night cycle, working interior screens (1:08), more dynamic lighting, dirt racing and so on. Just think, they're probably doing all this in preporation for Forza 5.
Test Drive Unlimited is better cause you're not confined to the road the whole time by guard rails, you can just take off cross country if you want or drive around on the beaches
even the turning sensitivity seems to be more, because when i turn in forza 4, i brake, try to turn and sometimes STILL go out of the track, in horizon they seem to arranged that.
I own a lot of racing games ranging from smash up derbys to simulation to monster trucks, and with simulation games you do not want damage, it atracts to many little infants just smashing into you all the time. EG. i love my racers and one of my favourites is RACE DRIVE: GRID, this game has great damage so maybe you should go rent it or youtube it ?
For some reason this game reminds me of the first NFS game. Not in race structure of course but that you can just race in open road with a super car and enjoy the scenery and speed without much worry. I miss that game. Agreed, I don't mind dev's copying stuff aslong as it worked for a previous game, is copied well, it looks good and suits the game. Oh, and is also intruative so I would agree with you on that yes.

You can turn the difficulty to simulation mode and the realistic physics are still there.. They just made the default settings really easy wich takes away all the fun of the game IMHO.. Assists off and difficulty simulation..
Actually they have radio stations. In the demo for example there were three (One is a rap/dubstep station, the other is dubstep/rap (seriously they both seem the same to me lol) and a rock station) and I'm sure there will be plenty more in the full game
I've been waiting for more of an open world racing game ala NFS Hot Pursuit which has Seacrest County, a terrific racing environment, but that game needed realistic handling/physics IHMO and the load times were long as they are in most racing games except another arcady game, Burnout Paradise. So how are the load times in Horizon?

Sim games are great, and Forza is awesome in the genre. However, I always get kind of bored with sim games, and end up having a lot more fun with something like Burnout Paradise. I may have to pick this up since it seems like they found a good way to mix the realism of Forza and let it co-exist with the arcade style exploration of Burnout Paradise.

Do you think Forza Horizon has exactly the same handling/physics level as Forza Motorsport 4? Or is it toned-down or simply different from FM4?

If you played other sims this does have an aracdy feel but doesn't mean it is bad at all the demo is awesome.
