      I felt the heartbreak, but then I realized that his kids know he wears a hearing aid. He could've just said it broke, and they wouldn't have thought twice about it. But we wouldn't have had that moment if they used common sense! So in this case, it payed to be a little dumb in that moment

    I'm glad that I'm not the only one that cried at the scene where Clint talked with his son. Clint's perspective was so fucking touching but also Kate's teary expression and the gut-punch of a realization on her face that she's the reason that he cannot spend time with his son, that her recklessness got him in that situation was such a massive character development moment. A scene where Kate just comes out to Clint that he's the one that inspired her to learn Archery, that inspired her to push herself to the limit, that all the rewards she ever got were because of him... it just needs to happen. Like this quasi father-daughter relationship need to be cemented and set in stone. And in all honesty, I'm waiting for it more than I'm waiting for the official Kingpin reveal.

      To add on to her realizing that she's the reason that he's away from his family, she also personally knows the feeling since her father died when she was a child. To me, I feel like she'd resonate more with the children who are missing their father for the holidays. Either way, knowing both situations makes it more heart-wrenching for us as viewers.

    Well, you saved black widow rather than killing her in ur mission that's why she became an agent of Shield.

      Clint was always the "heart" of the MCU Avengers (not sure about the comics version...and don't much care). You could see it in his responses to everyone else's troubles, and how he'd be there for them. And you saw it in what happened when that heart got broken in Endgame.
      .
      Clint's main flaw is his own antagonistic view of himself...and I feel like that's the only thing that stopped him from lifting Mjolnir...his own explicit belief that he's not worthy.

From the PTSD, survivors guilt, to the "thank you for your service", to the holiday phone calls away from home to your kids, to the little disabilities that start to pop up after years of abusing your body. Jeremy Renner really gets it down. I'm ultimately impressed because I've felt that way and been there on so many levels.

    As a hard of hearing person I loved this episode. It gives such a good look into my experiences. Especially when clints hearing aids break and he calls with nate. That is how most phone calls went for me when I'm not wearing my aids (and I don't really wear them at home)
    And about the turning the aids of thing, Most of them Don't recreate the sound exactly but it morphs it a little bit. So listening to music and some people's voices with them is an absolute nightmare. On top of that, I'm not used to the amount of sound I get, like in a busy classroom, so sometimes I just turn them off. Also it is absolutely amazing to annoy people with them so yeah... pretty realistic if you ask me I do it too

    As somebody named Zachary I gotta say I genuinely was not expecting to hear my name in the intro and happened to be checking my phone at the time.
    And for a brief moment there my dumbass brain went "Oh shit, they're talking to me I better pay attention"

    Yeah, Clint turning his hearing aid off as a way to remove himself from situations (AKA life) is some clear cut depression shining through. It's rough AF but also absolutely relatable 😢💔

    I do not think Hawkeye killed echo's dad, it was someone hired to dressed up as Ronin. Most likely Kimgpin/Ellenore hired them so maybe Jack or my suprise pick is Kazi was dressed as Ronin to kill Echo's dad.

    The whole point of Hawkeye is that he has an arrow for every situation and he always makes the shot. In a way, and I know this sounds like an exaggeration but in his own way he’s actually kinda OP. Like he’s mostly limited by his movement speed, and his inability to survive being hit super hard but like in terms of the damage he can dish out. He will F’ing blow you up 😂

    Some think that The Ronin suit was someone else before Clint found it like his mentor Jack that trained him. So it wasn't him that did the killing of the Track Suit mafia and her father before Clint got the suit. Also the Uncle they are talking about is King Pin the one from Daredevil tv series.

  • @akdollface007
    @akdollface007 2 года назад

    That about broke my heart when Clint was almost crying when Nate said they would understand when/if Clint couldn’t make it home for Christmas. And later when Clint says he’s not a role model to/for anyone, he’s thinking of his kids and how they are used to him not fulfilling his promises. It kills him to see that disappointment on their faces and their acceptance and resignation that he’s going to put them last (again).
