I am going to miss the Beacon Jams soooooo much! I love you all and you were a brilliant light for us all! TAB, Rescue Squad and team are a fountain of melodic, rhythmic and spiritual energy and light that makes this flawed existence on earth so much better. Love and beauty pours out of you all and takes my heart along on a wonderful journey that we can all share. Such a brief time. Keep filling it with indescribable beauty and thank you all! John and Leslie Funk.
This song is a masterpiece. Such nuance and depth inside such simplicity. And as other comments have mentioned, this might be one of the greatest renditions of it ever played. It's incredible that Trey is finding ways to breathe new life into songs that are 35+ years old.
🔥❤️🔥❤️Absolutely Amazing!! This song has always had a special place in my heart. One of my favorite/mind bending, surreal memories is the song at Lemonwheel. I can’t put my finger on what it exactly is/was, but something of me changed, like a piece of my brain was awoken, during Slave that night. I actually make a point not to listen to that show as not to mess with the memories I have. Thank You Trey! ❤️
Miss you Trey. Love you . Truly with my whole heart. Without every meeting me. You are Phamily . And i cant wait to see you and the rest of the boys. Miss you all. And i miss “Our Parties”!!! But we will again have them people. I promise we will. Til we all meet again some summer night at some summer show. Love each other and enjoy this awesome sauce that trey is putting together
Call me Like #400, thank you. And thank you, Trey Anastasio, you Glorious Ginger Jedi, Thank You , Good Sir Knight. I Love You, My Brother of Kindred Spirit. I'm Grateful AF for your commitment to changing your life when you did and Blessing All who knew your hearts path was meant to be where we are congregated now. Listening to your and the combined musical genius of the musicians that have graced these Jams-a-la-Beacon has provided a weekly reminder that music cannot be silenced. The Divided Sky Fund is a cause which hits home and hits hard for me, having lost over half dozen close friends in the last 4 years to addiction. Your Purple Aura is glowing brightly, Big Red. It's really cool, Brother. Peace.
One of those songs you have to stop what you’re doing and add it to a playlist. So honored to be a fan of trey and to have seen him live so many times. Can’t wait for 2022 tour.
Hi voice is angelic, I noticed it's EXTRA wonderfulness when I watched him and Paige do "waste" on someone's back porch in Vermont! What a beautiful state and and a beautiful song 💞😍 and his VOICE tho
RIP James Casey, what an amazing musician. I always loved him with Trey. And RIP Tony Markellis he could rip on that bass. He really had a nice steady awesomely thumping presence
You all summed it up.. It was such a blessing to hear these tunes played in such beautiful arrangements... This Beacon Run was such a highlight during this pandemic.. Thank you to everyone involved... Years and chills..
Thank you Trey, thank you band mates, and thank you FANS for the $1 million raised for the Divided Sky Fund. 🙌👏🙏 And special thank you to Heather McDougal and all the nurses and docs out there! 🙌👏🙏

Love the string and horn arrangements on these Beacon shows. The YEM is a standout, better than the full symphony shows. I'm certain these Phish songs are handled more nimbly by fewer players. Awesome job Trey
I have absolutely so much love for PHISH and trey. I have been chasing them since I first saw them on PBS as a child. It took me years to figure out who that WAS that first time I saw them. Birds of a feather lit up my psyche.
It’s all about the traffic in Burlington....I hate waiting......and it’s always so relieving after the show when your out of the city traffic lights into the free country.....listen
Does anyone know how Trey gets that guitar tone at 5:54 where it sounds like some sort of wind instrument kind of? I can’t even describe it but it’s amazing!!
Magic. This is right up there with Dick's 2015 right before the THANK YOU encore. What a night that was. Was Zaira really an angel? Long strange trip that night...
Jaw dropping. Tear inducing. Life affirming. Faith restoring.
Hope reviving,soul dividing,mesmerizing
Yep
Yes!! All that and more.
Be sure to check out Phish Halloween 1989, and see Trey dressed as Baphomet. Maybe Icculus could be Baphomet? just a thought
Forgot to say GLoane Doaning
What a Masterpiece. One of the most beautiful versions of this song ever played.
Remember when we were little Phishies . Look how far we have come with this song. Trey and the rescue squad strings takes us to another plane again.
those where hard days for the world. thank you for making this energy in such dark times. So much love.
Watching it again a year later and in tears again! Thanks Trey...
I'm not crying , you're crying.
Who am I kidding we are all crying. Simply Beautiful
You will not find a more therapeutic 10-minute period in your day than this right here.
The Rescue Squad strings put these shows on a new level. Please bring them out for the next tour. ❤
Again with the tears and chills.
So thankful for Trey and Phish providing us with so much music throughout this unconventional year.
loving these sessions

What a beautiful rendition. This song especially takes me back to days of the Slade basement. It still makes me feel the same way today.
These Beacon Shows are a masterpiece. These songs have never sounded so good. Thanks for something great this year.
Got to love the people making an effort to make things better all the time. Thanks Trey!
Idk why but I just cried.
Those rescue squad strings 😭
cathartic tears ftw
Me too, it already is a beautiful song but the orchestra behind just blew my mind!
Thank you Trey! And to all the musicians involved. The Divided Sky Fund is a worthy cause. Let's get good people the help they need
TAB w/ horns ... perfect.
Trey is the goat! Thanks for these insane Beacon Jams.
Amazing!
How is this even possible. How can anyone besides Mozart be so good?
The recording quality of these shows is exquisite! Thank you Trey and friends...love you so much!

Thank you Beacon Team. You are a brilliant light for all of us to bask in!
Another song that brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it!
So much gratitude for this. Thank you
I became a Phan during the pandemic ... patiently waiting for my first opportunity to see phish live
Thank you so much to everyone involved here.
Thank you Trey and all you fine musicians. Beacon of Light in Dark Times. #420 on the likes, and one of my favorite tunes - synchronicity \m/
I knew a fellow in the early '70's who said "If The Revolution comes I'll be in charge of getting rid of the traffic lights."
They drive me insane 🍄🇺🇲🍄🌍🍄🧬🍄🐟🐟🐟🍄
Holy crap! So damn good. Slave always tugs at my heart strings. This was fantastic.
I’ll do whatever the traffic light says.
Thank you ❤️✌🏼
Brings me back to my first Slave (12/30/93)! Blown away then AND now!
his voice has gotten kind of beautiful in its raspy old tenderness
Hi voice is angelic, I noticed it's EXTRA wonderfulness when I watched him and Paige do "waste" on someone's back porch in Vermont! What a beautiful state and and a beautiful song 💞😍 and his VOICE tho

Thank you Trey for helping lower my blood pressure (drop 🩸). Love ya forever.
Wow he has a whole orchestra playing with him😳love the violins!
Absolutely blows my mind every time. Simply fantastic. Arguably one of the most beautiful and moving versions of Slave
Great job, cute trumpeter
So beautiful, just beautiful. Thank you.

Trey wants to be the opposite of Jerry with his voice as he ages, its fantastic to see older Trey level up his vocals.
Holy moleyyy wow
We need more Beacon Jams ! Minus the Covid !
Awesome!!!

To the 4 thumbdowners: help is a phone call away. Make that call. Get the help you need. Really.
You know that when you talk it says more about yourself than those you're insulting, right?
song brings me back to Red Rocks '95 for some reason 😁
Love the build... Acoustic>electric>drums
He’s a master of musical edging. By the time you get near the end you’re in ecstasy.
Love, the shirt says it all!
