The black "cage" is separate pieces and are not glued but slide fitted together. I found the easiest way to remove it was to pull the top ends of the box away from the long side beams and then finish your disassemble from there.
My only complaint about the packaging is that they could have reversed one of the side photos so that it aligned with the front and back photos (so the four photos looked like windows into the model). But if that's all I have to complain about, the whole thing is pretty darn nice. With your videos and the posts on Facebook and on Steve's AOC Discord channel, it's like a bunch of kids on Christmas morning. Are we fan-atics or what?
Thx DTL…Congrats Lola ! WOW 181 🤔 of your 1:18 Scale LE. Aptera could have used these shipments to beta test their QR code for Right to Repair for Right to Open!” Imagine if Aptera’s QR codes work this way: SCAN. a component QR code… Sarah and Chad pop up on ( visualize ) on your scanning device screen and the Aptera screen and “ they” talk us through the repair ! Enjoy!
Congrats Lola! And thank you for showing it off! Thinking about it I actually should be thankful for not having been amongst the lucky ones who got one, because as it looks getting this thing out of the box would have killed my nerves! I probably would have gotten out the Aptera in pieces with the box still intact and closed! ☠😂
I didn't know the seats moved, so cool!
Me neither!
Congrats Lola!
Thanks!
Thank you, Lola.
It was fun, and Sarah's tip to opening it was a tremendous help 😻
@@pandora576 she passed the task to Frankie, the big brother, but she paid close attention.😁
Good stuff everyone!! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you!!
also, i'm going get some plexiglass and make sides ends lid etc to turn it into a display case and keep the dust out.
Awesome!!!
Very cool!
These are really neat.

I totally agree on the box! Had the same thought when we opened ours. And yes we are a bunch of kids
I'd like to see a top view of Aptera on the top of the box, 3D.
@@ronfarnsworth7074 that would be perfect!
