This was the only guide on RUclips that actually helped me beat the level with 3 stars. Every other video had tower placement that made no damn sense and played with heroes that could one shot the ancient knights without them respawning, effectively relying on a cheap gimmick to function properly.
You are a genius. That is because you manged to complete this level no lives lost without a hero. I completed this level with Sir. Gerald Lightseeker. It took me about 3 and a half hours to figure out how to beat this hard no lives lost.
This is the only Veteran/Impossible lvl I can't do across all four KR titles. Really bakes my noodle. For me and my brain/play style this is by far the hardest lvl in the series.
I agree, among all stages across all 4 series this is the hardest. You nearly have to build the Tesla at the very beginning which makes you don't have enough money to build physical-damaged towers at the front to deal with the ancient knights and witches. In that case the musketeer at the bottom left gives the witches the final shot. It all makes sense, I will sacrifice some barracks to build some rangers though.
I was having enormous troubles with this level, bu this strategy worked like a charm for me. The most important parts are the first Tesla coil, the rain of fire on the zombies in the bottom, and then the archers in the bottom left. Then you can just plant barracks and spam mages as you like, and upgrading barracks strategically to stall enemies. I can confirm that the one sorcerer's golem does a good job in stopping the boss, but if you're willing to use a hero, Geralt is amazing, as another user said. His damage-reflection ability shreds Lord Blackburn like nothing else, but I don't know if it works on every platform. Still, he can last a long time just standing there and you can heal him by letting him catch his breath.
2021z You can micro the Earth Elemental second before Blackburn stuns the sorcerer tower. That way the elemental is not affected by the stun and it can still tank hits. Do not upgrade the Elemental yet as you can refresh its HP with every upgrade maximum 2 times

I had one witch slip past me but other than that this guide was pretty much spot on and accomplished what I'd been trying to do for hours.

I beat this level extremely easily with this guide. All the other ones used a pay2win hero and still only got me 2 stars.
He uses no hero.. he must be a masochist
