America is a corporate machine. They don't care about talent, they care about disposable faces. Their audience has been groomed to like something, but their attention span doesn't let them enjoy it for long. The US does have some great musicians, you just have to look for them. My favourites are Bill Callahan and Bonnie "Prince" Billy (aka Will Oldham), but there's plenty more out there.
I'm not sure if they are still together or if they have broken up, but Marlon Williams was in a relationship with Aldous Harding. You should check her out. She's amazing too. Both they and Delaney come from the little port town of Lyttelton, the port of Christchurch city in New Zealand. Btw, Marlon is on the left, Delaney on the right in the vid.
As you can probably tell from the way they look at each other Marlon and Aldous were a couple at this time (not sure if they still are): ruclips.net/video/htW4asqpb5Y/видео.html

America used to be brimming with talent like this. Where did it all go? New Zealand, it seems...

Mighty fine strumming and picking there. No sarcastic involved.
Where can I buy/get a copy of this song sung by these brilliant musicians at the Aroha Nui concert. It was even more remarkable. Superb.
This song reminds me of the music in the movie The Strangers

A couple of diamonds in a world of musical coal.
Gillian Welch and David Rawlings could team up in concert with these guys to great effect.
Just passed the prime 113 with no dislikes. Yee haa!
