The Great Alone is the last Kristen Hannah book I read and liked it because of how she wrote about Alaska. I completely agree it’s almost like a character in the book. My first Kristin Hannah book was The Nightingale and that one is still my favorite

The Great alone is also my favorite book followed by the nightingale. I highly recommend listening to the audio book of them both, the narrator does such an amazing job at telling the story. I just finished The Women on audio book and it was also amazing!

I highly recommend The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker for your next Alaska read! It’s a romance but definitely has more to it.

The Nightingale is high on my list and the last of her historical fictions that I need to read. All of her books have been just exceptional!
Oh my goodness “ The Notebook had me hooked & I’ve read everything he’s done since. You should read Charles Martin while we wait for the new book

I've never read Kristin Hannah books but definitely will now. I just finished Yellowface by R.F. Kuang and ready to start Weyward by Emilia Hart.
