Breaking down guitar songs no one has done Interesting stories i.e. personal band history, sobriety, daughter, etc Well done break down of songs Breaking down a variety of songs, keeps me coming back to see what is next Humble/down to earth Sharing your guitar skill/knowledge 😎👍🎸🏆
I was one of those 15k back when you did the Top 100 solo project. I was new at guitar and soaked up all you your videos. I was in awe and I absolutely loved all of your commentaries about the solos. I love your channel. Congratulations!!!!!
@@KellyDeanAllenGuitar 14 years for me this May . Dad died and I decided something else was getting me . Keep it up Buddy , you are making great strides . 100 k is right around the corner and by what I am seeing Members from all over the Globe .
Hey, congratulations, Kelly! You’re such an inspiring example of how immersing yourself in something can truly heal the mind! You’ll absolutely hit 100K and beyond, and with the amount of content you’ve published, that plaque should be solid gold! :p Keep up the amazing work 🙂
KDA, you clearly have a passion for playing music, this is your craft. You have this natural talent and you choose to share it with us, for this I thank you. Have you considered creating a series of Canadian song tutorials? I’d love to see more Monster Truck, or maybe some Trews? Get your subscribers to vote up some suggestions for future tutorials. I bet that could generate a few more views! Congratulations to you from Canada’s capital 🎸😎🤟🏻
Kelly, I personally think that you're probably the coolest guitar teacher on the web, Thanks for all or your hard work. I've grown as a guitarist because of you! Cheers from Atlanta Georgia.
I began playing a few years ago at 63 and you've been a great inspiration and teacher from the start. Thanks very much from your biggest fan in BC's Okanagan valley.
I became a big Aerosmith fan in late 2023 and finally got my first guitar last August. I really appreciate your Aerosmith guitar lessons. You can't find your kind of content anywhere else on RUclips. Congratulations!
Open & Honest.....mush kudos. I'd love to hear your background story, as you don't get that good without having been in many garage bands back in the 80's
Big congrats on 70 K (soon). Great body of work here KDA. You are appreciated. Oh, btw, I guess I was one of the few that liked that voting series that turned out to have a low rate of return. 😂
KDA, Excellent transition!! I learn all of the time from you! You are a great instructor for beginners which just encourages us to keep playing! The only “trouble” to get into is buying more guitars!! Thank you for your gift to us rockers!! 🎸🎶
There are a lot worse things you could buy! And, they don’t give back like a guitar! I nearly died at 19 from alcohol related stupid! I stopped drinking to intoxication at age 21. Have not had enough for a “buzz” since age 25 while in college! I don’t miss it at all! Rock has ALWAYS been my “drug of choice”! I am 62 and started learning at 60. I love it! Get daily weights in, then usually 2 hours on guitar everyday! Great for the brain, coordination, and good for the soul! I try to get newbies to play and teach what I can! Today I am going to play along with a neighbor who is 71 in a band and has played about 50 years! His brother was the drummer in The Black Crowes. We are in a 55+ community with many guitarists! So much fun!! 😉
The Yamaha Revstar is shaped like a Rickenbacker. Much less pain to the wallet! I see you don’t just go for the $$$$$ guitars! This way, we can buy more! My 3 electrics, a good acoustic, and electronic drum set total just over $4k. 😉
Congrats. What I like about the channel, the passion for the music you teach. You can tell it's authentic and it shows in your work. Also, as a person that's learned how to play Gone Shooting and Rock Bottom from your channel I just want to finish by saying THANK YOU.
I am a somewhat comfortably retired guy and guitar wannabe (also a fellow Caper). I enjoy your channel probably more than any other that I have found and I look at quite a few. Guitar 365, The Art of Guitar, etc. You have a special skill of providing very interesting context as well as very straightforward and concise instruction. I encourage any viewer and subscriber to share Kelly's content and if you can, throw a few bucks in the hat. I have been a $25 a month patreon supporter for a little over a year and any of your lessons on an overlooked gem is worth that and more. Congrats on seven years and here's to more growth, more success and more great guitar instruction.
Congratulations on your sobriety! You have certainly provided us with many hours of great content. Thanks for sharing your story. Thank YOU for what you do.
Kelly, I share the sentiment of others that you are among the best and most gifted guitar instructors on RUclips. Unsung in my opinion. Gig in NYC, and I’m there!
Thanks Kelly Dean Allen. You were there in the beginning when I started learning guitar late at 58. My odometer clicks over to 65 next birthday. You have been a very, very big part of my guitar endeavours. 👍🏻
Big thanks to you even more ------ i've had fun learning some of these songs. Luv your precision in the riffs. You Rock my friend !! What a great ear also. Most important. Congrats on being sober. Alcohol is a tricky drug. Glad I was a puffer instead of a drinker. My hats off to you Kelly.
In my younger days I played guitar all the time. I played in several rock bands and did some recordings. When I got married to my wife (going on 33 years) guitar and writing music took the backseat because we started expanding our family pretty quick. I had been a smoker since I was 16 years old. I had quit once for several years until COVID hit. The stress of contracts being cancelled got me smoking again. But a couple months ago I have quit again and back to playing guitar a lot. I’m starting to get back what I had back in the days when I played all the time. Just thought I’d share my story. Keep up the great videos!
Thank you for all your work Kelly Dean. It’s great that you’ve found your YT niche and are all the healthier for it. Loved the Tarrega by the way. Hope you haven’t totally given up on classical guitar.
Thank you Sir! Let's see, you have taught me Rock the Nation, Love Removal Machine, Gypsy Road, White Punks on Dope, Mama Belle, Mama Kin, Shooting Star, Fire to name a few. Between you, Dad Rock and Howard Hart I have learned songs I have listened to for 55 years or more (I'm 65) and it's a good problem to have keeping them all under my Fingers. People tell me "you play that? Nobody plays that!" because of you Brother! We all benefit from your therapy Kelly.
Thank YOU, Kelly! Love your channel. It was your thirty days of Lerxst that brought me here as I am a huge Lifeson fan. You also inspired me to buy my PRS SE 245 (just before it was discontinued).
