I had parents that were drug addicts. I am now 36 years old with two beautiful daughters that I have raised drug free. I have never touched a drug. God has kept his hands on my life.
My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!

I'm 15, and I just finished my freshman year of high school. As a kid growing up with parents expecting me to have perfect graded, it was tough but I did it up until this year. I started getting bullied too much this year, as well. I grew very depressed, fast. I started going to our church's youth group on Wednesday nights and in January, and got baptized on the 31st of that month. I'm so thankful to have God. He's saved me. He loves me.

Stay motivated. I was a lonely teenager who no one thought I would be anything. They were nice, but I was slow and depressed. I gave my life to Christ and He slowly transformed my life. I am not perfect, but I graduated from the Naval Academy with a degree in Physics. I was a Navy Officer for four years. And I taught at a technical college for 7 years. Not bad....All because of Christ. Don't let people come down on you or discourage you. Now matter what the road God has for you, it will be good because He will be there with you. I am presently out of work because of my fight with cancer, which I am cancer free, but it reduced my ability to speak. But even in the dark days, He carries us through Isaiah 43:1-3

I recently graduated college last July 9, I lost my latin honor because of one subject. It hurts so much. As a sixteen year old boy, I have stumbled a whole bunch along my journey for connection with Him. I repelled his love when I was a young boy, and I didn't want to believe that His love for me was present. It seemed as though the whole world was against me, and He wasn't there for me. I was selfish, and disheartened with my relationship with Him. And I tore myself away from believing. I pledged to myself around four months ago to try to re-establish that conmection with Him and it has been a very rocky, and long journey, but nevertheless it has been a fulfilled one. I opened myself up to Him, and cried myself to Him, asking for my forgiveness and for His help with all of the problems happening at the time. Listening to this song made me feel His presence, and I could not have felt any better. I have re-established my connection with Him, and now my repent begins. He helped me with my problems once I accepted Him and Christ and the Holy Spirit into my heart; it shows nothing is impossible under the influence of God. Even the most detached of people can still maintain a bond with Him. Thank you, and God bless anyone who read this comment.

Many years far away from God and I can't stop to listen to this song I don't know exactly why I left Him, I've got confused in some part of my journey, I was sad, the Gospel in Brazil was full of lies, I believed in those men, in every single one of those words and when I figured out, it was never like they said, it got me broken up! Back in those days, a lot of things let me down, things like the bloody business inside the church, the money was stolen from the poor, I was tired about the Theory of Prosperity, I saw a lot of awful things in my church and in many others all over Brazil, so now, listening to this song, crying a lot and feeling Jesus speaking out inside my heart, here in my office while I'm working, I'm wondering to myself what's all those things matter?! What's so important that can keep me apart from my God??! This song means so much to me. When I was in a really dark time in my life, this song transformed my whole life. During that time I hated God and no longer wanted to live, but one day I went hiking and listened to this song for some reason. I just sat on the ground crying and all of a sudden, a butterfly sat on my one foot. I was in tears, because I could feel God's presence for the first time. I just sat there crying, because I felt so alone during that phase of my life. This song made me put all my faith into God, knowing that he will protect me from evil and be by my side forever. Never lose your faith in God, and when in doubt, look around you and you will see He is always there. The world blinds us not to see his presence. :)

I would listen to this song all the time when I really started surrendering to Jesus when I was 17 and 18, and after falling back into old temptations throughout the next few years, I've been trying to break the habit. I was about to fall back in tonight, and this song came on Music Choice and with God's strength and His message on this song, I decided not to give in. Every victory counts! Thank you Jesus.

Now im a like a soldier preparing to be Missionary. im out of past now from 4 months. i m happy so much. im in love with bible, and all what Jesus said there is Truly Amazing. He sacrificed his life for humans like us, and Love is the strongest bond between any humans. And Self Sacrifice is the highest point or Stage of Love , He did for us. Hi. I'm currently a SHS student and let me tell you a story. I have always been bullied since elementary. I didn't know what was wrong of me that bullies always target me. Still, even up to now, bullying on me won't stop. But one day, I came across a recommended video in youtube, a hillsong song to be particular. And there, I saw how passionate people were to God that they were all raising their hands, with their eyes closed while singing to the song. I was deeply attached to it that at the same day, I found myself singing to a worship song, with my hands held high until I felt tears flowing down my cheeks. It was awesome. God's timing is undoubtedly the perfect timing of all. He is so awesome. He is so great. To everyone who's reading this, I hope and wish that you've already found God and that deep in your heart, you know He will never leave you. God bless to you. You are loved. ❤
I had the most amazing moment tonight while listening to this song! I was enjoying the music when suddenly I was overcome by the overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit! Tears began to flow, I found myself on my knees with arms outstretched, my thoughts were not my own. I have NEVER felt this before, NEVER felt this close to God. Thank you so very much for this song, it has truely touched my life!!!!
Every since I was little (4) my parents always argued. They got a divorce when I was five. My parents now share custody of me and I’m fourteen years old, my parents still “argue” and I never get a break from life. My mom wants me to be like the person she wants, not what I want. God, I thought about just ending my life. Life is just a painful and scarring journey that feels like it never ends. Lord, I’m thankful for everything you’ve done for me, this song reminds me of my relationship with God, the God I serve. God thank you for always being my witness, my father, my best friend. The one thing my mom is contaminated with, the one thing that she always tells me not to carry, hate, she has hate, and yet she tells me not to let it consume my soul, but that’s exactly what has happened to her. God, please forgive my mom and dad, their flaws, their sins, their misconceptions, guide them to the right path. Thank you God.

Just remember this, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV) Whatever you're going through know that God only allowed it because He knows you can handle it. He has already defeated the enemy all you have to do is continue to stand on His word. My prayers go out to you.
Praying God will strengthen you stand in tempting times and to flee every appearance of evil (1 Thess 5 v 22 - 24). Temptation will come to each and everyone of us while we are in these earthen bodies but be encouraged, Titus 2 v 11 - 12 ays that the Grace of God has come to us to teach us to say no to evil. I pray this Grace will be multiplied unto you for the most difficult times. Trust in God's Love for you, don't fear it and don't doubt it, that is what will always keep you. That's what helped Joseph flee from Potiphar's wife (Genesis 39) so keep your eyes on God and His Amazing Love and don't focus or be consumed by the temptation or thoughts. Be intentional about setting your eyes and mind and heart on godly things (Colossians 3 v 2 and Philippians 4 v 6 - 8) and remember them or distract yourself with them when temptation arises. If you feel like you're struggling really badly, talk to a trusted leader, friend or mentor who will keep you accountable about what you're watching, listening to, spending time etc. Hope you have one of those around you. Much love in Christ! And increasing Freedom & Breakthrough everyday! Don't doubt, you are an overcomer and more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus (Romans 8 v 31 - 36). Meditate on and speak out loud the Word of God, pray the Scriptures from your perspective. I've found Scriptures like the entire book of Galatians, Colossians 2, Psalm 119 helps me and praying from them e.g. when feeling vulnerable to sin, Gal 2 v 20 - "Thank You Lord that I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live but now Christ lives within me and this life I live on Earth, I live in the power & faithfulness of Jesus Christ who loved me and gave His Life for me". WOOHOO! Take care :)
I know how hard it can be to fight an addiction, a drug addiction must be even worse. It’s not surprising that sometimes you panic. Satan wants you to give into drugs, so if you walk away from Satan, he will do everything in his power to bring resistance to you. To be able to walk down that road, and not give up even though it’s been difficult, you must be strong, or rather God has made you strong. I pray you’re able to keep moving forward.
Hello everyone, I stumbled upon this song once again. I remember listening to this song when my older sister played it, but now she's a doctor in a hospital in Texas. My older siblings are slowly blooming as I know that one day they'll be spending their time on their own family, it's sad since I'm the youngest one. Youngest people are often left to where they all grew up, and I asked myself about it that it works in that way? I'm now 15 years old and still studying what's the purpose of every single thing, since I know only I myself am able to teach things that I see. I'm quite depressed and I'm sure that I'll get a new will to live. I can't afford my older siblings and my mother to have a dead sister and daughter. I also have my amazing boyfriend, he's currently my other half who I tell him the stories about myself so I don't die or disappear from this world without anyone knowing what I truly like or just what I am. But still, you can't deny that people can be kind out of free will. If there was a certain God who made people do stuff, aren't we nothing but mere puppets in a simulation? Lucas Dumoulin well we all have free choice in life, that's what God gave us, the freedom of choice. Choice on how to live our lives, choice to believe in him or not. It's your opinion whether you believe in him or not and I respect your opinion. I choose to believe though (and with believing comes spreading the word of God) and I have faith in him, we don't need to prove he is real we just need faith. Though there is evidence, but it can't be completely backed up, same goes for every religious belief, that's why faith is important. But if you wonder why there are people starving and sicknesses (ect) and if God is real why doesn't he stop it. It's because of sin we as humans chose to sin, but as it says in John 3:16 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.' God sent his son so even as sinners we could be saved. And though people go through hard times it happens for a reason James 1:2-4 'Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.' Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' It's the devil who brings destruction and God fights it. John 10:10 'The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.' You just need faith to believe he will protect you from the devil. And though many pass from sickness or other things even though they had faith in God it was because they were serving their job here on earth and were not needed here any more (hope that makes sense) Ephesians 2:10 'For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.' And why hurt the ones you love by taking the ones they love because 'they aren't needed anymore'? Not to mention that it allowed the clergy and nobility to opress the peasantry in Western Europe during the Dark Ages, since it was only in Latin so they basically could say things like "The bible says you have to pay 1/10th of your harvest to the clergy!" to the, non-Latin-speaking, peasantry.
i love this song... how could anyone not believe in God? I cant stop my tears everytime I remember He's goodness for me, and I grew being more and more devoted to Him as the days go by. God is really good, im 20 now and I still remember the day that He saved my life and my family's lives when our van is bout to explode that time when I was little.. I thought it was the end of my life but then He's so merciful to me. until now I cant believe that it happened that night, because I remember when were stuck inside that van while its startin to burn and there was a smoke so we almost cant breathe that time, my dad was able to got out of the vehicle but since its very dark that time I cant see the front door because everything gets blurred due to the smoke, I was just beside him when he's still driving but when it happened he rushed to go out and get behind the van because the engine was there, we cant even open the other doors because it was jammed.. i dont know what happened on the doors that time cause im still young so were so scared, my mom was just praying and my brothers are just screaming for help, our dad cant help us because hes trying to fix the engine, and hes taking some bottle of waters in the compartment so the fire would be stop, so were really hopeless that time, BUT then out of nowhere someone appeared wearing white sleeves and pants, we thought it was him because hes wearing the same white clothes that time and there was nobody else thats on that place but, he said that it was not him.... all I can remember was that he pull us out of the window one by one, I cant even remember his face. we always ask our dad if its really him who helped us get out of that window but he really insist that its not him because hes at the rear side of the van.. and as i remember what happened that night yeah hes on the rear side of the van because my mom saw him there and There Was really Someone who helped us, and im really sure it was not him. because that man dissapeared instantly.. its still a mystery for us but I believe its Him, who really saved me and my family. my dad even wonder how we get out of that window because were just so little he thought that we just jumped off ... I just want to share the miracle that He made in my life . God Bless us

He fed 6000 People with a few pieces of bread and 2 fishes, he does miracles that not the normal human can do, unless you think a human can raise a dead person from the dead or turn water into wine than may the Lord help you to believe in his miracles.

Example, when the Holy Spirit reveals God's plans for you, to you, you don't know what to expect because your plans are different than Gods. He does surprise you.

+FiveStarGuy120 , number one thing , make the decision to start going back to church , then keep asking God every day , even if it takes some years, keep asking him to deliver you and to change you again and as you do that you show him also that you will start resisting to do sin , some times you will fail , but never give up.... and little by little you will be back serving God. the more you show him that you are willing to resist sin and obay him the more he will help you and the easyer it will become every day to stop comitting sin and LIVE FOR GOD. with other words pray for God to change you and step out in faith step by step you will achieve it. and sometimes you will fail but do not keep focusing on the mistake you comitted it will only make you fall deeper in sin. draw near to him not away from him! and its okay to doubt as long as you make that Doubt draw you closer to him.

I USED TO HAVE SUPER BAD ANXIETY. It was horrible. I had it for about 4 years. I would overthink things all the time, I was scared to raise my hand in class to answer a question because I was scared to be judged, I couldn't even talk to a girl one on one because I was so anxious! I wanted to be in theatre because I liked acting but I didn't want people to judge me in a bad way for getting into theatre and being some "weird theatre kid". I never went to church, I had never prayed or read the Bible before. Then one day in 2018, my friend invited me to a Bible study at our high school. I thought about it and decided to go and check it out. And on October 9, 2018, my LIFE was changed forever. I remember leaving the classroom so happy and excited to come back the next week. So I started to go to the Bible study every week and begin to learn about God. The true and living God of the Bible. I started to pray and read the Bible and see if God was truly real, and then over the summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night, the preacher said "if anyone's going through anything, I want you to come to the front and ask God to heal you" and I went to the front and I got down on my knees and I actually cried out to God for the first time and I said, "God, if you can actually heal me, please help me!”, and right after I said that, I heard the clear voice of God for the first time in my entire life and one of the only times I heard Him so clearly, and He spoke to me saying, "I've healed you from your anxiety right now, and it's not going to come back." And right after that happened the preacher said "If anyone got healed, I want you to come up onto the stage and tell everyone" and instantly I went up onto the stage and told about 900 people that Jesus had healed my anxiety! And ever since that day, my anxiety hasn’t come back, and I know it’s not going to. And He can do the same for you, no matter what you’re going through or struggling with, Jesus has authority over it and can heal you! Now here’s the thing: Me and you have sinned and broken every single one of the 10 commandments. We are not good people. And if you are not born again, you are on your way to facing the wrath of God and eternal torment! And I used to be in that place too! If you are not for Jesus, you are against Him which makes you an enemy to God. And there is nothing that you can do to earn forgiveness. Does that concern you? Well here’s the good news: God loved you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth, and Jesus lived a perfect life, He never sinned once, and then He died on the cross for you. He sacrificed His life for you, offering you the gift of salvation. And the Bible says in Romans 10:9 that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved." So you have to believe that He died on the cross and rose again to save you from your sins and place your faith in the finished work of the cross. Now we are not saved by works, but you should begin to read the Bible daily and pray frequently. I am bible study leader but deep in my heart I know I am full of pride. But God reminded me through my quiet time who He is and who I am. Now, I am on my knees, rediscovering my faith. Jesus never promised us an easy life, on the contrary, in John 16:33 He says " These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Also , you can see that God never impeded Daniel to be thrown into the lions den, but He delivered Daniel inside the lions den! The same applies to his friends in the furnace. But Daniel and his friends remained faithful to God, besides their tribulations and God delivered them! I also have been through many tough situations, where I thought I would never "survive", but it was exactly in these situations that I held on to God, and He delivered me, helped me, and even made me stronger through these situations. I might be wrong dear friend, but I feel a lot of sadness in your words. I believe maybe your words is a reflection of what is in your heart. I don't thing life got better , when you decided to leave Jesus. I am sure your soul is thirsty and in need of rest. God wants you back, he never stopped loving you, He came to this world and gave His precious life for you and for me and for the whole humanity. A long time ago, I've experienced depression. I was alone, broke and in pain. I thought life on earth was a curse. I felt empty and full of regression. But when I surrendered my life and my soul to Jesus Christ, everything changed. I found my purpose and now I can say that I am truly complete. God is truly awesome. His presence alone is my heaven 💕✌

Big difference between singing a song about laying your life down and actually living for Christ. I think to many of us settle for the emotional high that comes from worship and not enough daily living for him. Thank God he has pursued me with LOVE.
Praying God will strengthen you to stand in tempting times and to flee every appearance of evil (1 Thess 5 v 22 - 24). Temptation to lust or any other sin, will come to each and everyone of us while we are on earth in these fallen bodies but be encouraged, Titus 2 v 11 - 12 ays that the Grace of God has come to us to teach us to say no to evil. I pray this marvelous Grace will be multiplied unto you for the most difficult times. Trust in God's Love for you, don't fear it and don't doubt it, that is what will always keep you. That's what helped Joseph flee from Potiphar's wife (Genesis 39) so keep your eyes on God and His Amazing Love and don't focus or be consumed by the temptation or thoughts. His Love will free you. Be intentional about setting your eyes and mind and heart on godly things (Colossians 3 v 2 and Philippians 4 v 6 - 8) and remember them or distract yourself with them when temptation arises. If you feel like you're struggling really badly, talk to a trusted leader, friend or mentor who will keep you accountable about what you're watching, listening to, spending time etc. Hope you have one of those around you. Much love in Christ! And increasing Freedom & Breakthrough everyday! Don't doubt, you are an overcomer and more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus (Romans 8 v 31 - 36). Meditate on and speak out loud the Word of God, pray the Scriptures from your perspective. I've found Scriptures like the entire book of Galatians, Colossians 2, Psalm 119 helps me and praying from them e.g. when feeling vulnerable to sin, Gal 2 v 20 - "Thank You Lord that I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live but now Christ lives within me and this life I live on Earth, I live in the power & faithfulness of Jesus Christ who loved me and gave His Life for me". It's a very hard cycle to break out of for sure, but Jesus came to save us from things like that, so stay strong and remember that sometimes it's better to give up short-term pleasures for the eternal prize. Cut out everything that you know will cause you to fall into temptation; any vulgar tv shows, movies, websites, books, people; stay away from it/them. The key is to turn all that effort that was put in feeding the lustful desires onto chasing after Jesus. Read the bible, and ask God to reveal his truths to you. Read the bible constantly, talk to God continually. Read the bible, pray continually. What you focus on determines what you will think about and end up doing. Find a group of supportive men of God to help you. Ask God to give you a passion for his word. You have to be solid, you have to make a choice. I'm rooting for you! :) If your not in Christ already I encourage you to be. Accept him. He saved me from lust to. I pressed in and you can do it to.

This song made me cry. I was having a bad day, and I confess, I turned away from God for a while. I went on RUclips and found this video on the recommended list on my screen. Curious, I clicked it. I listened, and wow. The words. They're beautiful. I cried because it was so true. "I touch the sky when my knees hit the ground..." wow. God. He's wonderful.
I remember way back when I was young, around 15-19 yrs old. I always went to church even if it was just me, and always brought "Sampaguita(s)" after. I always prayed for others. I usually do it in 3 ways: 1. Myself and Family. 2. Friends. 3. Everybody in the world. But, it was often that when I come home, I would always see my parents fighting, and that always ruined our Sundays. This somehow made me lose faith. And slowly I stopped. Now I'm 23, and listening to this song. A lot of things have happened, and truth be told, I cried. I cried while listening to this song. Felt something got released and everything was lighter. I wanted to go back to my ways, of having him (God). This song had always saved me. And it saved me yet again.

I'm 15, and I just finished my freshman year of high school. As a kid growing up with parents expecting me to have perfect graded, it was tough but I did it up until this year. I started getting bullied too much this year, as well. I grew very depressed, fast. I started going to our church's youth group on Wednesday nights and in January, and got baptized on the 31st of that month. I'm so thankful to have God. He's saved me. He loves me.
I am blessed to know you were baptized and you started going to your youth group. stay strong and I hope and pray your next school year will be better. Jesus will always be there to help us get through the storms of life. God bless you.

Stay motivated. I was a lonely teenager who no one thought I would be anything. They were nice, but I was slow and depressed. I gave my life to Christ and He slowly transformed my life. I am not perfect, but I graduated from the Naval Academy with a degree in Physics. I was a Navy Officer for four years. And I taught at a technical college for 7 years. Not bad....All because of Christ.
Don't let people come down on you or discourage you. Now matter what the road God has for you, it will be good because He will be there with you. I am presently out of work because of my fight with cancer, which I am cancer free, but it reduced my ability to speak. But even in the dark days, He carries us through Isaiah 43:1-3
Most teenagers now a days aren't focused on the rock that is Jesus, the Lord is close to come for his church. May God bless you and all the teenagers that walk in his path, and keep their salvation at all costs may the Lord bless you.

I recently graduated college last July 9, I lost my latin honor because of one subject. It hurts so much. Then this song is the music in our graduation sde, when I got home I searched the lyrics, then I'm here. This music, the message, it hits me. Thank you, Lord, thank you for this. It brings comfort to me, I feel like this is His message for me :))
As a sixteen year old boy, I have stumbled a whole bunch along my journey for connection with Him.
I repelled his love when I was a young boy, and I didn't want to believe that His love for me was present. It seemed as though the whole world was against me, and He wasn't there for me.
I was selfish, and disheartened with my relationship with Him. And I tore myself away from believing.
I pledged to myself around four months ago to try to re-establish that conmection with Him and it has been a very rocky, and long journey, but nevertheless it has been a fulfilled one. I opened myself up to Him, and cried myself to Him, asking for my forgiveness and for His help with all of the problems happening at the time.
Listening to this song made me feel His presence, and I could not have felt any better. I have re-established my connection with Him, and now my repent begins.
He helped me with my problems once I accepted Him and Christ and the Holy Spirit into my heart; it shows nothing is impossible under the influence of God. Even the most detached of people can still maintain a bond with Him.

Many years far away from God and I can't stop to listen to this song I don't know exactly why I left Him, I've got confused in some part of my journey, I was sad, the Gospel in Brazil was full of lies, I believed in those men, in every single one of those words and when I figured out, it was never like they said, it got me broken up! Back in those days, a lot of things let me down, things like the bloody business inside the church, the money was stolen from the poor, I was tired about the Theory of Prosperity, I saw a lot of awful things in my church and in many others all over Brazil, so now, listening to this song, crying a lot and feeling Jesus speaking out inside my heart, here in my office while I'm working, I'm wondering to myself what's all those things matter?! What's so important that can keep me apart from my God??! This song means so much to me. When I was in a really dark time in my life, this song transformed my whole life. During that time I hated God and no longer wanted to live, but one day I went hiking and listened to this song for some reason. I just sat on the ground crying and all of a sudden, a butterfly sat on my one foot. I was in tears, because I could feel God's presence for the first time. I just sat there crying, because I felt so alone during that phase of my life. This song made me put all my faith into God, knowing that he will protect me from evil and be by my side forever. Never lose your faith in God, and when in doubt, look around you and you will see He is always there. The world blinds us not to see his presence. :)

Hi. I'm currently a SHS student and let me tell you a story.
I have always been bullied since elementary. I didn't know what was wrong of me that bullies always target me. Still, even up to now, bullying on me won't stop. But one day, I came across a recommended video in youtube, a hillsong song to be particular. And there, I saw how passionate people were to God that they were all raising their hands, with their eyes closed while singing to the song. I was deeply attached to it that at the same day, I found myself singing to a worship song, with my hands held high until I felt tears flowing down my cheeks. It was awesome. God's timing is undoubtedly the perfect timing of all. He is so awesome. He is so great.

Tears began to flow, I found myself on my knees with arms outstretched, my thoughts were not my own. I have NEVER felt this before, NEVER felt this close to God. Every since I was little (4) my parents always argued. They got a divorce when I was five. My parents now share custody of me and I’m fourteen years old, my parents still “argue” and I never get a break from life. My mom wants me to be like the person she wants, not what I want. God, I thought about just ending my life. Life is just a painful and scarring journey that feels like it never ends. Lord, I’m thankful for everything you’ve done for me, this song reminds me of my relationship with God, the God I serve. God thank you for always being my witness, my father, my best friend. Whatever you're going through know that God only allowed it because He knows you can handle it. He has already defeated the enemy all you have to do is continue to stand on His word. My prayers go out to you.
Praying God will strengthen you stand in tempting times and to flee every appearance of evil (1 Thess 5 v 22 - 24). Temptation will come to each and everyone of us while we are in these earthen bodies but be encouraged, Titus 2 v 11 - 12 ays that the Grace of God has come to us to teach us to say no to evil. I pray this Grace will be multiplied unto you for the most difficult times. Trust in God's Love for you, don't fear it and don't doubt it, that is what will always keep you. That's what helped Joseph flee from Potiphar's wife (Genesis 39) so keep your eyes on God and His Amazing Love and don't focus or be consumed by the temptation or thoughts. Be intentional about setting your eyes and mind and heart on godly things (Colossians 3 v 2 and Philippians 4 v 6 - 8) and remember them or distract yourself with them when temptation arises. If you feel like you're struggling really badly, talk to a trusted leader, friend or mentor who will keep you accountable about what you're watching, listening to, spending time etc. Hope you have one of those around you.

I've found Scriptures like the entire book of Galatians, Colossians 2, Psalm 119 helps me and praying from them e.g. when feeling vulnerable to sin, Gal 2 v 20 - "Thank You Lord that I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live but now Christ lives within me and this life I live on Earth, I live in the power & faithfulness of Jesus Christ who loved me and gave His Life for me". I have been battling a drug addiction for the past five years this song helps me to relax when im panicking.
I know how hard it can be to fight an addiction, a drug addiction must be even worse. It’s not surprising that sometimes you panic. Satan wants you to give into drugs, so if you walk away from Satan, he will do everything in his power to bring resistance to you. To be able to walk down that road, and not give up even though it’s been difficult, you must be strong, or rather God has made you strong. I pray you’re able to keep moving forward.

Hello everyone, I stumbled upon this song once again. I remember listening to this song when my older sister played it, but now she's a doctor in a hospital in Texas. My older siblings are slowly blooming as I know that one day they'll be spending their time on their own family, it's sad since I'm the youngest one. Youngest people are often left to where they all grew up, and I asked myself about it that it works in that way? I'm now 15 years old and still studying what's the purpose of every single thing, since I know only I myself am able to teach things that I see.
I'm quite depressed and I'm sure that I'll get a new will to live. I can't afford my older siblings and my mother to have a dead sister and daughter. I also have my amazing boyfriend, he's currently my other half who I tell him the stories about myself so I don't die or disappear from this world without anyone knowing what I truly like or just what I am.

Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' It's the devil who brings destruction and God fights it. John 10:10 'The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.' You just need faith to believe he will protect you from the devil. And though many pass from sickness or other things even though they had faith in God it was because they were serving their job here on earth and were not needed here any more (hope that makes sense) Ephesians 2:10 'For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.' how could anyone not believe in God? I cant stop my tears everytime I remember He's goodness for me, and I grew being more and more devoted to Him as the days go by. God is really good, im 20 now and I still remember the day that He saved my life and my family's lives when our van is bout to explode that time when I was little.. I thought it was the end of my life but then He's so merciful to me. until now I cant believe that it happened that night, because I remember when were stuck inside that van while its startin to burn and there was a smoke so we almost cant breathe that time, my dad was able to got out of the vehicle but since its very dark that time I cant see the front door because everything gets blurred due to the smoke, I was just beside him when he's still driving but when it happened he rushed to go out and get behind the van because the engine was there, we cant even open the other doors because it was jammed.. i dont know what happened on the doors that time cause im still young so were so scared, my mom was just praying and my brothers are just screaming for help, our dad cant help us because hes trying to fix the engine, and hes taking some bottle of waters in the compartment so the fire would be stop, so were really hopeless that time, BUT then out of nowhere someone appeared wearing white sleeves and pants, we thought it was him because hes wearing the same white clothes that time and there was nobody else thats on that place but, he said that it was not him.... all I can remember was that he pull us out of the window one by one, I cant even remember his face. we always ask our dad if its really him who helped us get out of that window but he really insist that its not him because hes at the rear side of the van.. and as i remember what happened that night yeah hes on the rear side of the van because my mom saw him there and There Was really Someone who helped us, and im really sure it was not him. because that man dissapeared instantly.. its still a mystery for us but I believe its Him, who really saved me and my family. my dad even wonder how we get out of that window because were just so little he thought that we just jumped off ...

I USED TO HAVE SUPER BAD ANXIETY. It was horrible. I had it for about 4 years. I would overthink things all the time, I was scared to raise my hand in class to answer a question because I was scared to be judged, I couldn't even talk to a girl one on one because I was so anxious! I wanted to be in theatre because I liked acting but I didn't want people to judge me in a bad way for getting into theatre and being some "weird theatre kid". I never went to church, I had never prayed or read the Bible before. Then one day in 2018, my friend invited me to a Bible study at our high school. I thought about it and decided to go and check it out. And on October 9, 2018, my LIFE was changed forever. I remember leaving the classroom so happy and excited to come back the next week. So I started to go to the Bible study every week and begin to learn about God. The true and living God of the Bible. I started to pray and read the Bible and see if God was truly real, and then over the summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night, the preacher said "if anyone's going through anything, I want you to come to the front and ask God to heal you" and I went to the front and I got down on my knees and I actually cried out to God for the first time and I said, "God, if you can actually heal me, please help me!”, and right after I said that, I heard the clear voice of God for the first time in my entire life and one of the only times I heard Him so clearly, and He spoke to me saying, "I've healed you from your anxiety right now, and it's not going to come back." And right after that happened the preacher said "If anyone got healed, I want you to come up onto the stage and tell everyone" and instantly I went up onto the stage and told about 900 people that Jesus had healed my anxiety! And ever since that day, my anxiety hasn’t come back, and I know it’s not going to. And He can do the same for you, no matter what you’re going through or struggling with, Jesus has authority over it and can heal you!
Now here’s the thing: Me and you have sinned and broken every single one of the 10 commandments. We are not good people. And if you are not born again, you are on your way to facing the wrath of God and eternal torment! And I used to be in that place too! If you are not for Jesus, you are against Him which makes you an enemy to God. And there is nothing that you can do to earn forgiveness. Does that concern you? Well here’s the good news: God loved you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth, and Jesus lived a perfect life, He never sinned once, and then He died on the cross for you. He sacrificed His life for you, offering you the gift of salvation. And the Bible says in Romans 10:9 that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved." So you have to believe that He died on the cross and rose again to save you from your sins and place your faith in the finished work of the cross. Now we are not saved by works, but you should begin to read the Bible daily and pray frequently. I am bible study leader but deep in my heart I know I am full of pride. But God reminded me through my quiet time who He is and who I am. Now, I am on my knees, rediscovering my faith. Trying to understand who God is again and why I love Him. One thing is for sure He loves me unconditionally that I can't even comprehend it.
Please pray for me that I may grow more in Him and lead people to His love.

Dear friend, I get your point. Sometimes things happen in peoples lives, not because of God's will, but because of their bad choices... Jesus never promised us an easy life, on the contrary, in John 16:33 He says " These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Also , you can see that God never impeded Daniel to be thrown into the lions den, but He delivered Daniel inside the lions den! The same applies to his friends in the furnace. But Daniel and his friends remained faithful to God, besides their tribulations and God delivered them! I also have been through many tough situations, where I thought I would never "survive", but it was exactly in these situations that I held on to God, and He delivered me, helped me, and even made me stronger through these situations. I might be wrong dear friend, but I feel a lot of sadness in your words. I believe maybe your words is a reflection of what is in your heart. I don't thing life got better , when you decided to leave Jesus. I am sure your soul is thirsty and in need of rest. God wants you back, he never stopped loving you, He came to this world and gave His precious life for you and for me and for the whole humanity. The devil is the one who came to steal, to kill and to destroy, he is the guilt one and responsible for all misery in the world. Life is too short, everything will pass away. A long time ago, I've experienced depression. I was alone, broke and in pain. I thought life on earth was a curse. I felt empty and full of regression. But when I surrendered my life and my soul to Jesus Christ, everything changed. I found my purpose and now I can say that I am truly complete. God is truly awesome. His presence alone is my heaven 💕✌
God didn't create any of us with a list of, "you must do this and not that." The will of God is to be one with Jesus Christ. He said for us to learn from Him, and that's what I live for. He created me to recognize His Son Jesus Christ. When I see how Jesus loved and obeyed His Father, I want, and choose to do the same. I am not forced to, and no, I am not brain washed. I choose to!!
Revelations 4: 11, He captured my heart and is so worthy of all my praise, for ALL MY LIFE! I found my life when I laid it down.....
I was fighting so much for my Son that I was declining in health. I found my life when I laid it in his hands as he delivered me the strength to continue to fight for the greatest blessing of all in my Son. I'd do it all over infinite times for my boy.
Jesus said if the world hates you know that it hated me first, we live like Jesus so that we can be with the Father, keep the faith and live for Jesus and if it comes to it do it for him, he did it for us, so we show the same reciprocal Love he has for us, and no matter how much another does not like you always Love them anyway cause it only makes you stronger, hope you are well and in the hands of the Lord always in Jesus name, Amen.

Big difference between singing a song about laying your life down and actually living for Christ. I think to many of us settle for the emotional high that comes from worship and not enough daily living for him. Thank God he has pursued me with LOVE.

Praying God will strengthen you to stand in tempting times and to flee every appearance of evil (1 Thess 5 v 22 - 24). Temptation to lust or any other sin, will come to each and everyone of us while we are on earth in these fallen bodies but be encouraged, Titus 2 v 11 - 12 ays that the Grace of God has come to us to teach us to say no to evil. I pray this marvelous Grace will be multiplied unto you for the most difficult times. Trust in God's Love for you, don't fear it and don't doubt it, that is what will always keep you. That's what helped Joseph flee from Potiphar's wife (Genesis 39) so keep your eyes on God and His Amazing Love and don't focus or be consumed by the temptation or thoughts. His Love will free you. Be intentional about setting your eyes and mind and heart on godly things (Colossians 3 v 2 and Philippians 4 v 6 - 8) and remember them or distract yourself with them when temptation arises. If you feel like you're struggling really badly, talk to a trusted leader, friend or mentor who will keep you accountable about what you're watching, listening to, spending time etc. Hope you have one of those around you.
Much love in Christ! And increasing Freedom & Breakthrough everyday! Don't doubt, you are an overcomer and more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus (Romans 8 v 31 - 36). Meditate on and speak out loud the Word of God, pray the Scriptures from your perspective. I've found Scriptures like the entire book of Galatians, Colossians 2, Psalm 119 helps me and praying from them e.g. when feeling vulnerable to sin, Gal 2 v 20 - "Thank You Lord that I am crucified with Christ and I no longer live but now Christ lives within me and this life I live on Earth, I live in the power & faithfulness of Jesus Christ who loved me and gave His Life for me". AustinL MVP As somebody that struggled with lust for years, I understand what you're going through man. It's a very hard cycle to break out of for sure, but Jesus came to save us from things like that, so stay strong and remember that sometimes it's better to give up short-term pleasures for the eternal prize. Praying for you man.
AustinL MVP I hope you read this (I see that it's been a month since you posted). What I want to tell you is FIGHT. Cut out everything that you know will cause you to fall into temptation; any vulgar tv shows, movies, websites, books, people; stay away from it/them. The key is to turn all that effort that was put in feeding the lustful desires onto chasing after Jesus. Read the bible, and ask God to reveal his truths to you. Read the bible constantly, talk to God continually. Read the bible, pray continually. What you focus on determines what you will think about and end up doing. Find a group of supportive men of God to help you. Ask God to give you a passion for his word. You have to be solid, you have to make a choice. I'm rooting for you! :) If your not in Christ already I encourage you to be. Accept him. He saved me from lust to. I pressed in and you can do it to.
Just heard this song for the first time Jan 1, 2023 by channel surfing. I stopped on a random music video channel, and not even 20 seconds in, I was in complete tears and smiling from ear to ear!. I've never had a song invoke so much emotion in me, so fast and so strong. Just writing this comment is making me emotional. What has this song done to me man!. 🤦😊

At times, I have struggled to accept Christianity, but I had never felt God's Holy Spirit until I joined a christian church. I have now decided that I cannot understand why God does things as He does. I cannot understand why He does not do things as I would see fit; but, as chapter 3 in Ecclesiastes says, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."

I remember way back when I was young, around 15-19 yrs old. I always went to church even if it was just me, and always brought "Sampaguita(s)" after.
I always prayed for others. I usually do it in 3 ways:
1. Myself and Family.
2. Friends.
3. Everybody in the world.
But, it was often that when I come home, I would always see my parents fighting, and that always ruined our Sundays.
This somehow made me lose faith. And slowly I stopped.
Now I'm 23, and listening to this song. A lot of things have happened, and truth be told, I cried. I cried while listening to this song. Felt something got released and everything was lighter. I wanted to go back to my ways, of having him (God).
This song had always saved me. And it saved me yet again.
