My mom made a tree like this in the 60's. It was made from tuna cans that you could open on both ends. The trunk of th he tree was a stained piece of 2x4 wood. It was my favorite decoration. Thanks for the reminder. I would use the center of a packing tape roll now for the stability of it.

My Mom made tree out of baby food jars. Poked a hole in lid and placed one light from a string of lights in each jar.

I saw some glitter self sticking sheets at Dollar Tree recently. 3 sheets in a package, then you peel off he white backing to stick to whatever. Heck of a deal considering many places sell glitter paper a buck or more a sheet. I did notice what I bought I had to use glue because it didn't stick too well. But very pretty, looks like the glitter paper in the video. But I think it a type of plastic, not paper. Looks nice anyway and I used for scrap booking. Yeah, $1 is a good price. Don't work there, just like to save $!!!
