I remember Adam Savage from his Mythbusters days; he’s always been an inspiration when it comes to making things. Hearing him talk about such fascinating topics is really enjoyable. I’ve often found myself thinking along the same lines when I see incredible artifacts from past civilizations, wondering if people back then were truly less knowledgeable than we give them credit for. Any curious mind can relate to Adam on so many levels.
I absolutely loved this episode. Adam Savage's passion for creativity is contagious. Hearing him talk about everything from ancient Egyptian innovations to modern maker movements was incredibly inspiring. His stories about working on Star Wars at Industrial Light & Magic and his love for cosplay really hit home for me. Such a perfect mix of art, science, and imagination. The insights on storytelling, 3D printing, and even the challenges of late stage capitalism gave me a lot to think about, especially as someone who values creativity in all its forms. The discussion around neurodiversity was so powerful, it’s a reminder of how unique perspectives fuel innovation. This podcast is such a treasure trove for lifelong learners like me. Huge thanks to Jesse Dylan and Priscilla Cohen for creating this space for curious minds.
A great initiative truly. Adam has a great art of storytelling using his genius techniques especially by incorporating science and technology. This podcast really helps the readers to understand the changes in trends with the advancement of science and technology and why one must learn and adopt these changes to improve their skills and polish their abilities.
Wow, this video was absolutely fascinating! Adam's insights into how ancient Egyptians achieved such incredible precision in their pyramids without modern technology really got me thinking. It's a stunning reminder of human ingenuity throughout history. I loved the connection he made with today's AI innovations as well-it's true that while technology has advanced, the core of creativity and storytelling remains deeply human. The discussion about the maker movement and its accessibility is so important, too! Thanks for the great information.
@@wondrospodcast I have researched on Egypt pyramids and I am very impressed that how they are good in their building of pyramids. Anyways, I am a creative Engineer.
I always curious how beautiful world in the past. How people interacted and communicated, how people build beautiful building with limited technologies in the past. For me who working with 3d printing and mechanical field, go to the past and see how the technologies in that era will be wonderful. Mind-blowing how strong and huge the building they made in the past. Love this talk ❤

Couldn't agree more. Are you a maker or creative storyteller?

Very interesting. What 3D device would you print if you could take it into the past?
Maybe it's the workshop maybe because it's the holidays but also maybe because of the glee, Adam sure gives off Santa vibes
I was just thinking the same thing 😅
