Jimin is the only member about whom we know a lot more about his pre debut (as BTS) era because he was already known as the rising star of Busan (his hometown). Korean media also calls him Prince of Busan. There is a multi episode compilations of all his fan cams from many live stages and concerts called Jimin Feeling Himself by Park Drea. He is the most versatile dancer in the world right now that even professional dancers incl ballet dancers have acknowledged. While singing too!

They are in constant scrutiny from fans, media and public. They have to undergo rigorous training for years even before getting selected to train as part of the group for debuting. That’s why it’s remarkable Jimin debuted with just 6 months of idol dance training. You missed the bit where it was said in BTS biography book that when Jimin was added to BTS as final member the group changed its direction from hip hop to pop group. Unlike western artists K-pop idols have to participate in local music shows every comeback (every 3/4 months new song or album) and compete with other groups. They feature in local variety shows and have their own variety shows which began with BTS’s legendary Run BTS. They are in touch with their fans in live video calls etc They have no personal space nor time. If you are male idol you have have to also go away for 18 months of mandatory military service when you are 30. BTS are right now serving in the military. The oldest Jin just got discharged in June. It’s no easy feat to be K-pop idol :)

❣Jimin, growing up, since quite young age, even pre mid school, was always into hip hop & r&b music. Aside from Rain, Taeyang, & BoA, Korean idols, known not just for amazing vocals, but their dance ability, Jimin was also heavily influenced, with other role models, such as Chris Brown, & Usher. So it goes to follow he’d also appreciate other equally well known artists who also were amazing dancers & performers aside from vocal ability. It also goes without saying that Jimin, was indeed heavily influenced by MJ. He even taught Jin to moon dance for Dynamite MV, also Jimin was the one that suggested other MJ moves also for BTS song “Dynamite”. Chris Brown’s choreographer Brian Puspos who Jimin is actually close friend with, both having a mutual love admiration & respect for was the one that did the choreography for “Serendipity”. He even said that Jimin dances his choreo better then he does himself! Jimin has also worked with Puspos who restaged not only a Chris Brown song for Jimin before, but also Drake’s “Own It”. Jimin already at early age of 10, started studying hip hop at the renowned Just Dance Academy, in Busan, city where Jimin’s from, which teaches all the many different styles of hip hop. There is even a post made that shows a performance where young again 11 Jimin in 2007, not only performed already, on right front side of stage, but later on went in front and did a solo. JIMIN also competed, excelling in popping, & isolation moves, winning every competition. JIMIN also since a little boy, trained 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (blackbelt), Hapkido, Kendo, & Chinese martial arts. Side Note: When learning Taekwondo, as a little boy, I believe Jimin said that doing the splits was one of the first things required to be able to do. Also did same for contemporary dance. He said that he'd put his legs split, up against the wall for quite long, hrs at a time. This was aside from still attending middle school Jimin, where he was already into all kinds of sports, including being part of soccer team,, but also basketball, even joined after school billiards, also excelling in track & field throughout his schooling. Then, while going to Busan Highschool of the Arts, he then also studied & performed contemporary. Media even called Jimin “The rising star of Busan” after seeing Jimin perform on stage during a huge festival. JIMIN also studied, some ballet as well as even traditional Korean dance. But Jimin’s main love was always hip hop. Though he did enjoy dancing contemporary, which Jimin indeed excels at, to this day all his dance movements, have his exquisite body placement, amazing elegant, poised, clean lines, as well as he also always stands, even without dancing, with out-turned feet, his foot positions always end up while dancing in classical out turned foot position, placement that classically trained dancers have, with extensions all the way to his fingertips, even incorporating his eyes, & facial expressions! Yeah it's great that his father was so supportive. It's really important to have that support behind you for you to reach your ultimate goal. Asian parents normally just worry too much that's it! I struggled with your commentary, but I think I heard you compare him to MJ several times. I have to say, in my opinion, that although BTS takes great inspiration from Michael Jackson, they have their own style and talent. Jimin is not Michael Jackson. He does do other things besides some of the Michael Jackson moves that they love. Jimin a far better dancer than Michael Jackson, technically, emotionally, and physically.
I recommend you watch some of Michael Jackson live performances. I respect your opinion but still maybe watch some of Michael Jackson love performances or any of his dance performance. He is known as the GOD of dance. The guy who literally created the pop genre and made it popular hence known as king of pop. He performs for 2 hours every live performance dances non stop. Dedication emotional investment. Jimin is great no doubt but also takes inspiration from MJ. The greaest to ever exist. Even the people who are actual professional dancer go ask any of them who is the best dancer to ever exist in the history of this planet. They will tell you the answer. What do u mean? Jimin is also the Main Dancer and FYI jimin was the first one introduced as a main dancer of bts on a music show. Jhope was first classified as sub dancer on his profile then later became main dancer like jimin. Dance leader doesnt mean best or better dancer. It means jhope is someone who organizes the group around choreography and besides he is older than jimin so it be awkward that jimin would be the leader, he is humble and respects his hyungs. Jhope is more strict than jimin who is laid back but very patient with teaching other members esp RM and Jin. Jin specifically thanked and was inspired by Jimin’s hardwork. If u noticed Jimin has more center iconic dance killing parts than jhope. And evrytime they always push Jimin to show the moves on interviews. Both are main dancers but Jimin is known ALL ROUNDER DANCER, DANCE KING.
Jimin said Jhope is good dancer doesn't mean you will play with his official position given by the company. He was and will be Main Dancer of BTS always.

Jimin has went viral since the very beginning for his dance, but the fandom always wants to paint jhope as the best because of his title. Dance is not only about just dancing, its about the way you dance, the expressions, the body language, the charisma. You can try other members too. They each have solo works within BTS discography and outside it. BTS have a massive discography and they come with deep lyrics which have been lovingly translated by many Armys in many languages in French in real time during concerts and when members go on live chat with fans on their own platform called Weverse. I think if you start with BTS primer first then you then have some idea about each member that way:) Start with: - Guide to BTS by Taylor Mari. She is updating it because this guide is valid up to May 2022. Lot has happened since then and in Chapter 2 when BTS took a break to enlist in 18 month mandatory service. I always judge an artist based off of their performance and how much it inspires and affects me. I also think I understand a person's personality better through their performances. That results in skewered and incomplete opinion on each member. For example, some BTS funny or talent compilation will have 60% on just one or two members and if you are new that’s what you will think as facts especially when you are not used to K-pop fan world. Other day I watched a Guide with some new reactors and they wert away believing only one member had athletic skill. And other one was the gregarious one with lots of friends. And it had many omissions and wrong facts Army had to correct in comments. Sorry but that’s what happens in biased content. Since now you watched first part of Jimin intro you will know more about him already than a new fan or interested person would. Also there are lots of BTS fan edited content that categorise members unfairly like clumsy one,, coward line, etc. Ever since they enlisted in military lots of these categories have become redundant. Then there are shipper content like pairing up members in romantic relationships which is common in K-pop. But some are toxic and are mean towards members. So please avoid them. If you first want to check BTS group work then try these if you like. Since BTS are very versatile they can and have done many genres. I will start with semi early ones but not debut era. That’s why it’s remarkable Jimin debuted with just 6 months of idol dance training. You missed the bit where it was said in BTS biography book that when Jimin was added to BTS as final member the group changed its direction from hip hop to pop group.
Unlike western artists K-pop idols have to participate in local music shows every comeback (every 3/4 months new song or album) and compete with other groups. They feature in local variety shows and have their own variety shows which began with BTS’s legendary Run BTS. They are in touch with their fans in live video calls etc They have no personal space nor time. If you are male idol you have have to also go away for 18 months of mandatory military service when you are 30. BTS are right now serving in the military. The oldest Jin just got discharged in June.

❣Jimin, growing up, since quite young age, even pre mid school, was always into hip hop & r&b music. Aside from Rain, Taeyang, & BoA, Korean idols, known not just for amazing vocals, but their dance ability, Jimin was also heavily influenced, with other role models, such as Chris Brown, & Usher. So it goes to follow he’d also appreciate other equally well known artists who also were amazing dancers & performers aside from vocal ability. It also goes without saying that Jimin, was indeed heavily influenced by MJ. He even taught Jin to moon dance for Dynamite MV, also Jimin was the one that suggested other MJ moves also for BTS song “Dynamite”. Chris Brown’s choreographer Brian Puspos who Jimin is actually close friend with, both having a mutual love admiration & respect for was the one that did the choreography for “Serendipity”. He even said that Jimin dances his choreo better then he does himself! Jimin has also worked with Puspos who restaged not only a Chris Brown song for Jimin before, but also Drake’s “Own It”.
Jimin already at early age of 10, started studying hip hop at the renowned Just Dance Academy, in Busan, city where Jimin’s from, which teaches all the many different styles of hip hop. There is even a post made that shows a performance where young again 11 Jimin in 2007, not only performed already, on right front side of stage, but later on went in front and did a solo. JIMIN also competed, excelling in popping, & isolation moves, winning every competition. JIMIN also since a little boy, trained 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (blackbelt), Hapkido, Kendo, & Chinese martial arts. Side Note: When learning Taekwondo, as a little boy, I believe Jimin said that doing the splits was one of the first things required to be able to do. Also did same for contemporary dance. He said that he'd put his legs split, up against the wall for quite long, hrs at a time. This was aside from still attending middle school Jimin, where he was already into all kinds of sports, including being part of soccer team,, but also basketball, even joined after school billiards, also excelling in track & field throughout his schooling.
Then, while going to Busan Highschool of the Arts, he then also studied & performed contemporary. Media even called Jimin “The rising star of Busan” after seeing Jimin perform on stage during a huge festival. JIMIN also studied, some ballet as well as even traditional Korean dance. But Jimin’s main love was always hip hop. Though he did enjoy dancing contemporary, which Jimin indeed excels at, to this day all his dance movements, have his exquisite body placement, amazing elegant, poised, clean lines, as well as he also always stands, even without dancing, with out-turned feet, his foot positions always end up while dancing in classical out turned foot position, placement that classically trained dancers have, with extensions all the way to his fingertips, even incorporating his eyes, & facial expressions! Jimin found he could express himself even more through contemporary dance. Very few dancers have the ability to dance as many styles of dance as well as have the ability to incorporate all of them, even his gravity defying, martial arts, moves in his dance.
There’s a reason Jimin was not only give the official title of Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist, but has been awarded the prestigious titles for 5 yrs In a row, Best Dancer in Kpop, as well as 6 yrs King of Kpop. Jimin is called Stage Commander for a reason, his stage presence is on another level. Jimin is also called “Rookies Bible” because all rookies look up to him, watching his erformances. over & over, trying to emulate, & learn from his unmatchable, flawless, precise moves. Yeah it's great that his father was so supportive. It's really important to have that support behind you for you to reach your ultimate goal. Asian parents normally just worry too much that's it! Facts about #park jimin #Jimin Bts. Born busan 13 Oktober 1995 #JIMIN was the last member of BTS to enter BIGHIT on January 13 2013. The fastest trainee was only 6 months before debut on June 13 2013. He had to catch up with other members who had been trainees/training for 2-3 years..In a short time. Jimin had to learn everything from 0. Dancing, singing, Choreo. In the past, BIGHIT didn't give him a vocal teacher because at that time (management) wanted #Jimin to be a RAPPER. So, he learned how to sing autodidactically (by himself) by watching Jungkook during practice. This is different from Jungkook, who was sent by the company to Las Vegas, USA, America to spend 1 year taking vocal lessons there. So only #Jimin is truly self-taught. He spends his days practicing. According to all members, #Jimin is the member who is the hardest on himself. He is the member who is the earliest to wake up and the last to sleep. He only has 3 hours of sleep apart from school time. Even so, his academic grades remain good. Since elementary school, #Jimin has been known as a smart student who always won 1st place and was class leader during middle and high school, participated in student exchange between countries and became a substitute teacher, good at mathematics and science/physics. He received the title of Best Graduate with an Honorary Certificate (equivalent to a Master) from his university. Jimin is an amazing artist and the bestest dancer. I am not saying it because he has learned contemporary dance, its just the way he dance. He always captivates people for his dance and angelic voice.
He always goes viral for his charisma when he dance. Michael Jackson's neice once said the way Jimin dance reminds him of MJ.

I struggled with your commentary, but I think I heard you compare him to MJ several times. I have to say, in my opinion, that although BTS takes great inspiration from Michael Jackson, they have their own style and talent. Jimin is not Michael Jackson. He does do other things besides some of the Michael Jackson moves that they love. Jimin a far better dancer than Michael Jackson, technically, emotionally, and physically.
I recommend you watch some of Michael Jackson live performances. I respect your opinion but still maybe watch some of Michael Jackson love performances or any of his dance performance. He is known as the GOD of dance. The guy who literally created the pop genre and made it popular hence known as king of pop. He performs for 2 hours every live performance dances non stop. Dedication emotional investment. Jimin is great no doubt but also takes inspiration from MJ. The greaest to ever exist. Even the people who are actual professional dancer go ask any of them who is the best dancer to ever exist in the history of this planet. They will tell you the answer. Good to he biased I am as well. But I am pretty sure you don't know who Micheal Jackson is all those dance routines dance steps was made popular and created by MJ. Jhope was first classified as sub dancer on his profile then later became main dancer like jimin. Dance leader doesnt mean best or better dancer. It means jhope is someone who organizes the group around choreography and besides he is older than jimin so it be awkward that jimin would be the leader, he is humble and respects his hyungs. Dance is not only about just dancing, its about the way you dance, the expressions, the body language, the charisma.
Jimin always captivates people whenever he dances, whether in group performances or alone.
Mind you he has 3 national awards for his dancs alone
You can try other members too. They each have solo works within BTS discography and outside it. BTS have a massive discography and they come with deep lyrics which have been lovingly translated by many Armys in many languages in French in real time during concerts and when members go on live chat with fans on their own platform called Weverse.
I think if you start with BTS primer first then you then have some idea about each member that way:)
Start with:
- Guide to BTS by Taylor Mari. She is updating it because this guide is valid up to May 2022. Lot has happened since then and in Chapter 2 when BTS took a break to enlist in 18 month mandatory service. Please avoid other guides to BTS because they can be biased. This Guide Taylor edited in consultation with Army.

@@dnassassin1724Most Army have bias but when or7 content like Guide are created as information for new fans biased content will be unfair since the new fans will not get full and correct information on each member. That results in skewered and incomplete opinion on each member. For example, some BTS funny or talent compilation will have 60% on just one or two members and if you are new that’s what you will think as facts especially when you are not used to K-pop fan world. Other day I watched a Guide with some new reactors and they wert away believing only one member had athletic skill. And other one was the gregarious one with lots of friends. And it had many omissions and wrong facts Army had to correct in comments. Sorry but that’s what happens in biased content. Since now you watched first part of Jimin intro you will know more about him already than a new fan or interested person would.
Also there are lots of BTS fan edited content that categorise members unfairly like clumsy one,, coward line, etc. Ever since they enlisted in military lots of these categories have become redundant.
Then there are shipper content like pairing up members in romantic relationships which is common in K-pop. But some are toxic and are mean towards members. So please avoid them.
If you first want to check BTS group work then try these if you like. Since BTS are very versatile they can and have done many genres. I will start with semi early ones but not debut era. This list has variety.

Also live performances. (MV doesn’t have the choreography). Jimin is also credited producing, with the exception of a couple of songs. Even on Jimin’s previous FACE album, though Jimin wasn’t credited producing, aside from Jimin composing most melodies, & pretty much writing all the lyrics, he indeed was involved, participating, as shown in Jimin’s FACE production documentary. 👍🙏❤🔥🔥😍🌟💫✨
