The round disc at the ends of buildings (and other shapes)are wall ties which hold a bar from one side of the building to the other and are there to stop the walls bowing and collapsing. Nice video by the way 👏👏👏👍

Those discs on the side of the house are anchor plates used for reinforcement they have a steel rod that helps support the exterior walls
