"Just gonna take this trail and see where it goes"... later, standing 7300 up on a summit. This is why we watch.
Yeaaaah!
Love the bald and bankrupt reference. It was actually because I was watching his videos that your channel was reccomend to me and I'll forever be greatful
Yeah, as soon as I heard "soviet mining shed" I had to check whose channel I was on. ;P
Same here
Same 😂
Me too
The Soviet references cracked me up - clearly bald and bankrupt has been whispering in your ear! ;)
Laughing at that myself and judging by the thumbs up it seems Foresty and Mr Bald share audience and each others audience. Just waiting for Bald to start slow cookering.
Yea I was chuckling to myself when Bald got referenced. Should ask him if he watches Forestyforest.
@@JerBearTeo he said in his last video that he might be done with belarus, because he feels he has shown everything. Soviet mines on now US-Soil would sure be right up his alley :D
One day Forest will open a cabin and a babushka will be there knitting away.
Same thought
I've seen Foresty Forest do a brake job, cook 10 times better than I do, and now he pulls out a grinder to clean up a grill all in the middle of nowhere and I know I have missed some other wtf moments from his other videos. So now i'm wondering what will be Foresty Forest's next wtf moment? Taxidermy? Quilting? Small engine repair? Glad to see the shirt man, thats quite a piece of long lasting clothing.
Hey,Looks good anyway.I appreciate the way you just whipped out that sander and found new life from someone else's rubbish. You got skills my man.
Don’t forget he changed the bearings on his front axel the guy is walking mister fix it lol
And wire a solar panel, rebuild a van interior, ride a bike across a desert, climb an icy mountain, camp in freezing temperatures, edit a video, etc. etc. Man of endless and varied skills for sure.
🤣
He definitely looks like a guy that works hvac
My wife left me about 6 months ago...got my own place, but I'm super fucking lonely. When the kids aren't here I watch your videos...thanks man. I really appreaciate your content. I really do. Kinda vicariously living through you.. or kinda like an evening get away...lol.
Keep it up. Much love from Iowa...
Hang in there mate. When your kids are old enough, take them on a bike tour. You'll never forget it.
sorry to hear that.
I hope you don't get exploited like that, again. and i hope your kids appreciate you. cheers
Congrats on being single. I know it sucks but you will find a whole new lease on life.
Howdy fellow iowa neighbor. I too live vicariously thru these vids. keep your spirits high. The future is how you make it.
Valkyrie27...sorry she left you. Been there before too. Six months of grieving, understandable. Time to go have fun again. Buy a good mountain bike and get out and explore. Yep its hard but you can do.
“Sometimes things work, sometimes they don’t, I’m just gunna show everything that’s gotta count for something right?” - Foresty Forest put that on a shirt and I’ll buy 2 lol.
Always a good day when an old friend comes calling - can’t beat a new forestry forest video - nice set up with the grinder too 👌🏻
I stopped getting his notifications 😑
What country was this in this video?
@@jesuschristfollower4186 I like Forest Gump :-) Awesome Movie! :-)
Kudos to you for picking up the trash left behind. Pay it forward. Keep the videos coming!
Why would he pick somebodys else trash?
mortuus Dude, is this a serious question? Are you a spokesman of the Ding Dong clan? ✌🏼
He’s a good citizen !!
Nonya Biznes Ha! 😂 I think I heard you Nonya from Doug’s live stream. Hahaha. They’re laughing at Nonya Biznes. I just guessed, maybe it’s you. 😂
@@deaddropsd1972 yeah hes cute.
Buddy your an inspiration...I cant stop watching Vanlife videos now... the wife thinks I'm gonna leave her :P
I watch because I am leaving.....eventually
🤣
I’ve watched a bunch of van life channels and Foresty’s is truly the only legit van lifer in my opinion. I feel like some of the others only go camping in their vans and not actually live in them.
vancityvanlife is a nice channel. He is in Vancouver Canada
'Element van life' is legit too... but agree that some other channels aren‘t authentic.
Check out Living the van life.Chad is pretty awesome too.
Pam Stickels yeah I like Chad’s channel. He has awesome cinematography skills. I’m just not convinced he’s actually legit van life. But still super cool dude and channel.
It's easy to tell the difference between people who just live the vanlife style because they love it and those that do it for money and or fame. Like many people who do this vanthing are freaking rich, they have vans that cost more than an apartment or house. Yeah we will just go spend 500.000$ on a van lol.
I think this is why people like this channel, he isnt rich, he aint doing it for fame or attention, he just has a down to earth lifestyle and passion which he wants to share. You cannot fake this kind of passion.
The only bad thing about Mr Forest, is that his videos are too short xD I want more dammit!
"Kind of like it out here, maybe I'll stay forever." --Foresty
Watching this with my morning coffee I find myself regularly sitting back and shaking my head in awe of the scenery around you. Really beautiful.
Trying to rush the sausages was a mistake.
Slow cooking is the only way.
Check out the bafang rear drive hubs. For the hills you need a geared drive hub. For the weight of your bike at least 750 but 1000 watt motor would be better.
@Micheal Rows Life of Boris does good how to on making Doctor Sausage - haven't tried it myself.
He's learning.
As a wise old man told me once , Slow and Steady wins the race.
Man you offer us such a great escape from our daily lives!
pepetheheppe I never thought I’d find such joy in a man cooking a sausage.
"Sleeps 20, dines 2." lmfao man I can't even handle it. You crack me up. Thanks for constantly posting top notch content. Makes the difficult days a little easier!
And not a comment about Foresty cleaning his van! Love the video, you would be a wonderful mass production nature documentary film maker!!
Hi Foresty, thanks for the bird sounds at the end of the video. Birds can save your life in the wild because their songs change if a large animal comes through the forest. They call differently to each other as an alert, so listen to the birds.
Wisdom
That was great. Thanks for showing us the Yukon. It’s so beautiful. Some of the terrain you go on is pretty scary but you made it. I find it interesting when you drive in the towns and go shopping. Love the drone shots too! Keep showing us Canadians parts of Canada we never see. Take care and looking forward to the next video ...🇨🇦 ❤️
Its hard to tell the difference between Foresty Forest and the Duracell Bunny. This kid has more energy than anyone else on YT - absolutely love it!
The scenery blows me away....did a second viewing on the 50" TV in the living room just so could take in the background. Stuck in a suburban lock down... i cant help thinking i'm doing this social distancing thingy all wrong 🙄🌄
Never say "Nothing to it" until you are totally across the bridge. Like your channel. You are living the good life. BC and the Yukon are my favorite areas in Canada. Grill cleaned up nice.
The drone footage.... Foresty you're a legend mate
Oh Foresty, thank you for that view from the top of Mount Reade; ohmygosh that was beautiful!! I love being up high in the mountains, nothing brings you back down to size like looking at mountains.
The summit drone footage is always epic! Your success with such simple ways have greatly influenced my thought process for my own adventures. Being technically minded, I love to over complicate everything. Your perspective is always a great. Keep it up Forest and I'll gladly continue to be a faithful patron supporter.
This man is living the dream of many people.
What I really like about this channel is how it shows the real aspects of van-life, not just the edited highly hipped aspects of it. This guy lives a simple unglorified life, but he's enjoying himself in the process, and I think that's all everybody wants.
I love your videos and have watched all of them. My mental health hasn't been good but watching your video's helps. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! 😊
Been watching older videos and this guy does not waste the support he gets production value keeps going up every time. Awesome stuff can wait for more vids.
I love the fact that you got an angle grinder kicking around in your tardis of a van.
I liked the little tour around town
there is a German saying about grilling sausages which translates to "black is brown enough"... so you did well
I like Gordon Ramsay's advice: If it's brown; it's cooked: If it's black; it's f***ed.
never heard that one. but I do remember... Schwarz braun its die heselnuss...Heino
Nach fest kommt lose
@@GeorgiaOverdrive ...und danach viel Arbeit.
The rolling credits is just absolutely perfect. Just scenery and outside nature sounds. Great way to close out the video.
Respect, indeed yes.
Finding Foresty Forest is a fun addition to the viewers adventure
LOL @ 4:37 - “No Lenin statues though, Bald and Bankrupt would be disappointed”
I forgot they're in the same Cinematic Universe
Forestry Forest and Iohan Gueorguiev are the only two people worth watching on RUclips.
Both show epic videos. They are true legends.
Thanks for picking up the cans out of that fire pit. It’s a bummer when I see people leaving litter, it’s nice to see somebody like you picking up and packing out other peoples junk
I love these extended videos. The scenery is just gorgeous, and hey, free grill! Thanks for another great Foresty Forest escape.
Wow, I think this is one of my favorite videos of yours! Loved seeing you shop and do chores! I got teary eyed when you showed the view from the summit! So inspiring!
I must agree, this one had so much to it, I wanted to comment 8 different times! Only thing missing was the beloved slow cooker
Best vanlife channel by far, so chill while doing most things that would scare a normal person
You sir are the unofficial ambassador of all things awesome! Thank you for doing what you do! Stay safe!
Love the videos! Keep em coming and keep having fun!
Every time I see you ride or walk away from the camera, I can't help but think about you having to come back and pick it up! Thanks for the effort to get the shots.
The moments you hit the peaks and let your drone out for those HUGE pan shots... always the best part and sends chills
10:25
"This is the cabin you take if you don't want to hear your friends snoring all night" Little nuggets like this is why I'm over halfway through your content in my Forest Forest binge. Thanx.
"Any Sasquatch out here? I'm just as concerned about Yetty" Another nugget
I’ve been a camper/hiker/biker/kayaker for many years....Forest you ROCK.....your videos are so genuine as you are too....love your lifestyle and living brother .....you truly are....!!!! If ever in ADK....free place to resupply
I was getting worried, didn't see a video for a week. I love the daily life shots of cleaning the solar panels, seeing parts of whitehorse, great work FF!!
Surprise purchase coming up: 50 Liter Industrial Grade Crock-Pot
Lol !! You know it lol! ✌️
Haha, I knew that was a bald and bankrupt reference right when you started. Perfect spot for it!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again
Much love from Montreal
Your vids are pure meditation for me
Peace bro
The sound from you riding across that river at the start was satisfying.
Wish i was still young enough to do what your doing, Memories are the best thing you'll have when you get older, "Now Subscribed"
As for the thumb downers , get off the internet & go do something before you wake up one day to old to do what you wish you could've done years ago
Life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer you get to the end the quicker it goes. Enjoy life don't hate it
Mum and Dad took the whole family camping in Canada back in the late 70’s. We had a 76’ Chevy van, 5 kids, and Canadian Tire for resupply. I couldn’t believe canned bacon! I thought we were near the Arctic Circle, but we were only in Ontario. Still, not bad for a couple of city kids.
Love your videos.
Canned bacon?
Daniel King
Canadian Bacon=sliced ham
Wait, now I'm confused. Did u mean canned bacon or was it a typo for Canadian bacon? Cause the idea of canned bacon, as a Canadian, blows my mind.
@@mixtape4041 , thought the same thing, i think US calls ham Canadian bacon. I think canned bacon would be gross.
Tulip brand canned bacon - my uncle brought it up to Canada when they visited from the states lol
All kinds of tools on board. Being Canadian, I’d say that’s The Eh! Team van...
Another quality video, as always. Looks like a nice spot there, never made it to the Yukon myself. I don’t know where you get your music but it is spot on. You could (please) teach some other RUclipsrs how to pick tunes that add to the video, not annoy the hell out of the viewer. Thanks for the upload 👍🏻
I appreciated the presence of an angle grinder in his tool collection. No tool set is complete without one.
That closing footage seems a little longer with every new vid, Forest. Look at all those supporters now ! It's a great escape, Man. It truly is.
20 min vid from foresty whoop who!
Yeah it's so nice. First 10, now 20 min someday 2 hour videos!
@@RMJ1984 he would need 4 crockpot recipes!
I never realized how much I needed a Foresty Forest and Bald & Bankrupt Collab in my life.
From a nice warm spring day, to a winter wonderland.
You showed the forecast and I thought, "Wow, that's so cold!" but then I remembered it's in celcius. 🤣
The little extra b-roll and edits in this one are a nice touch! Another classic!
I'm watching one after the other.
You are always on the go. Your knees must be made of steel.
The places you go are so spectacular! Thanks for making such great videos.
Always an amazing production. More content in 20 minutes than you would get on TV in two hours.
I’m a simple man. I see a Foresty Forest notification, I click.
This was funny once. 10 years ago.
Tommy Knockers Ion
Tommy Knockers remember asking
Please stop repeating the same generic comment.
Noone says ion any more
Whenever I receive a notification that you've posted a vid, I immediately stop whatever I may be doing to check it out! Your chosen lifestyle intrigues me. If you ever have a Q&A post, I would love to know about what brought you to the lifestyle that you now seem to thrive in. If you don't mind telling some about your life before before your "current" life that would be great.
Perfectly Flawed if you go back to when he started living in the van you will get your answer. Many of us who have discovered this channel went back and watched previous videos for that same exact reason.
I think this summit had one of the prettiest views we've seen yet.
Loving these extra long videos.
Your reference to a new purchase is keeping me waiting. You also mention e-bike so I hope you can show us what you meant by that. My E-bike weighs about 90 lbs and I have the LI battery which is only about 13lbs. On city streets if will go easily 25 miles but it's probably useless in your terrain. A little 125CC dirt bike is still gonna weigh maybe 160lbs and pretty hard to attach to your van. I also wanted to mention that if you could borrow a metal detector and maybe find some interesting gold nuggets, that would be fun. I'm also waiting for fishing season to see what you catch. Nice work!
foresty, the only person in the world to have an angle grinder on him while gone for a road trip
Thanks Foresty Forest for my fix. I was jonesing for some vanlife!
I love that the only footprints you leave where you visit are from your shoes. Fewer ding-dongs, more sing-song, I say. Spectacular al fresco dining backdrops. Thanks for sharing.
I know I'm nobody for telling you this, I'm not even you patreon. Please don't stop 💚
I like the sausage burnt. Looked really tasty. We grilled out on mother's day. Everyone wanted burnt hot dogs.
Glad u got a refrigerator. Hope it works out for u.
U can put a motor on ur bike. There are some RUclips videos that show that. It's about $200
Foresty Forest... the OG of social distancing & it never looked so fun & peaceful!
Here is the birth of the legendary grill. Awesome!
Great start to a Saturday morning, I tell you 'hwat
Perfect timing, just finished cooking up my dinner here and you uploaded
Can we get 3 videos/ week? Your the only wholesome thing left in this world!
Mezmerizing, the drone footage from the summit gave me goosebumps. Wonderful presentation. Wonderful life, congratulations!
Foresty Nation rise up!
"That's not one of my products. That is one huge pile!" hahahahahahahahahahahahah man, I am roaring.
Once again the only youtuber I watch the full video through. So good. The fact you arent fake and over exaggerate things is very relaxing. Cheers from ontario. Off to go for a canoe ride.
Porcupine Story; in the Tonquin Valley we found this great little camp spot surrounded closely on all sides by small Jack Pine. In the middle of the night I awoke to these little grunting squeaks. I called to my friends and we turned on our Flashlights to find we had camped in a Porcupine home! Luckily we woke up before to much damage was done. A few holes here and there, a tiny hole in my boot tounge, fishing pole handle half gone, friends packstrap eaten through and we had to jury-rig a strap. This was 1970's pre-light, pre ultra-light, pre light-light, ultra-ultra-ultra etc. etc. so nothing was expensive to replace. Moral is; always wait for a nice invitation before moving lock, stock and barrel into someone's little home.
If you haven't started doing it already, you should consider selling excess footage to stock footage companies. Your work with the drone is fantastic, you have an eye for shot composition and are in an area right now where most would love to shoot but cannot. MIght be a nice sideline.
Road 10 miles on my fatbike yesterday...bought it after watching tons of FF
12:26 That one caught me off guard 😂
A truly well-placed reference 👍🏽
I miss the old van, great seeing these older videos again.
After every hike and climb you must get the best sleep of your life every night haha
Foresty is somewhat of an enigma.....but damn entertaining! I started watching for the Fat Bike touring episodes. Wow! who else has the balls to ride across Death Valley on a fat bike?
I'm really looking forward to the next Fat Bike tour. I hope sometime soon. These 'van life' videos are alright, but not as good as the bicycle episodes. Still, I love to catch up on the latest 'Foresty news'. Thanks for sharing.
to me it's "the sum is more than its parts". the fat bike + the hikes + the van life + the slow cooker = a winning recipe!
I really enjoy how you finish your videos, no big thumping base or electronic pinging noises, just nice, clean, clear nature.
You are a national treasure! I look forward to your videos every week 😍 🇨🇦
This man contains multitudes...Goethe
Looking forward to seeing you go fishing and what's in those streams and lakes.
I can’t believe you young people take such risks alone! God bless you and protect you.
Why am I just finding this channel. Im hiking across America starting in March 2021 after that I'm going to get a vehicle and like this for a minute. You have it right my friend.
bald is my second favourite youtuber, hes not quite on your level tho mate haha
I like both because you can't really compare since they have pretty different content
Livin in a van down by the river.
Chris Farley never had this epic van and Yukon river in mind.
These videos are good motivational speeches.
Nothing is better on a Saturday morning than a cup of coffee and new Foresty Forest upload
Another 5 star video by Foresty
OMG! Yes! shout out to BaldAndBankrupt!
'bald and bankrupt would be disappointed' lmao
Really liked the format of this one! Showed more of your daily mundane chores and activities. Keep it up!! Also glad to see you’re doing well.
Love the cycle tours the best, keep them coming....please.....
