How can we implement a differential relay for the HV Motor?

When i run motor in ETAP Load Flow, why the Current Flow always higher than full load current mentioned in the motor rating in the ETAP Motor editor? Can you explain? How to make it is same as the full current name plate? In practice, motor current flow is mostly lower than the name plate current. But in ETAP always higher than the nameplate. I'm really currious about this condition.

Thank you for your interest in ETAP software. Even though this is a very specific question that depends on a lot of factors, we can provide you with a general answer: Negative-sequence overcurrent relays can be modeled for motor protection. These relays are required to provide thermal protection against excessive current induced on the rotor. As such, these elements are typically set with a relatively long delay. Please feel free to contact support or your local ETAP office for more information on this subject.
