I truly feel for her! I have Severe Fibromyalgia & have had it for 20+ years! It affects your nerves, muscles & ligaments! And there is no cure for it! They only try to treat the symptoms! That beautiful woman with her high flying performance was fantastic. And to top it off knowing that she suffers from fibromyalgia and has performed at such a level for so long is truly amazing. Fibromyalgia is no laughing matter, the level of pain that you can be in is excruciating. At times to the extent that you can pass out from the pain. And to add to that it can mimic many symptoms of other illnesses. This makes it very difficult to diagnose. It is capable of mimicking a heart attack. And though you might not have actually suffered from these things, it can leave your body feeling as if it had been the real deal. At times it can be quite frightening, because you cannot tell the difference between fibromyalgia mimicking the symptoms or the real thing. And I'm speaking from experience. It took doctors almost 40 years to correctly diagnose on my part. Fibromyalgia doesn't show up in tests. Every test that I had would come back as clear. As a young teenager, I was told that it was all in my head, but it wasn't. It can also bring on depression. It is not a nice illness and presently there is no know cure. Some suffers are more fortunate than others as sometimes it will respond to a limited number of pain killers. I was to find that wasn't the case on my part. If you can imagine a large diameter red hot poker being pushed from behind, into and through your shoulder blade that is the kind of pain it can inflict. The pain can last from minutes to hours and for some it can be almost constant. And the type of pain varies. That woman was fantastic, the pain cam come on at anytime, without warning.
Fibromyalgia is your skin feels on fire, numb, and hurts to be touched all the time. My wife has it and it's just as hard on the loved ones cuz of the physical touch is gone. I bet she was down for 2 to 7 days in bed cuz of the toll on her body takes
Trixie was good except when he said the word "photo'. I hope I am missing something because everytime he said it I had to read the captions to understand he was not saying "fo uh". Hopefully someone will be able to clear this up for him, especially when his trick is so dependent on photos.
I have to say I love that Bruno is one of the judges. He has so much compassion, empathy and is not afraid to show his feelings.
