@Improvement nothing lucky about it. He set it up perfectly with the feint, and connected solidly to put his lights out. Usman is one of the greatest to ever do it, and he was on his way to a clear win. But what Leon achieved wasn’t luck, it was skill

Same, I been saying for weeks and months he will beat Usman. So many Usman nut huggers spitting abuse. I don't dislike Usman he is a great champion I just always thought Leon could beat him and had been overlooked and disrespected by American fans and most importantly Dana White who gave Masvidal 2 shots and Colby a shot before Leon even though Leon had such an impressive streak. Today I have been in such a good mood in work cause it feels like justice has been served.

@@frozenice61 kinda was a shock after getting dominated for 3 rounds and looking gassed, not trying to take anything way from Leon it was a beautifully set up finish and amazing read but I don’t think anyone thought he was gonna KO Usman with a minute left after losing the previous rounds like he did.
@@frozenice61 Usman wins the rematch imo. I think it's a similar situation to Serra vs GSP or Pena vs Nunes.. Leon is certainly levels above both these two fighters but it's still gonna be an uphill task even in English soil

Damn..never felt so emotional in a good way for a fighter and his life story. Charles was inspirational from slums but Leon was heart felt deep relatable with all the people that doubted him in life. Can’t wait to see what’s next for Leon ❤️🌟

Leon's toughest thing is his composure, he was looking for opportunities and not rushing things, he looked great in the first round and Did a good job of not getting dominated in wrestling part, whereas Usman from the start knew that Leon has the style to beat him and has the skills, he even said in a interview that Leon is the best stylistic match up for me and he got heart too, that's why Usman looked little worried in this fight and rushing things and was trying to wrestle old style to beat him but Leon was lucky he did land a perfect head kick and put Kamaru to sleep.
That head kick was not luck he faked the left hand Usman fell for it and Leon executed it perfectly with a roundhouse to the chin

I think that shot that Diaz did on Edwards late in their fight was a blessing in disguise for Leon - Usman was overconfident that he could get it done even in the last round and paid the price.
Leon will be even better in the rematch if the fight is not done at altitude.
I don't see how that diaz punch relates in the slightest.
