I recommend checking out how to backup your world and then update it to 1.18 or 1.20. There should be plenty of resources on how to do this via google.

@@rileycasperI tried upgrading from 1.18.2 to 1.20 but the world got corrupted multiple times (ofc I had backup) I did use different mods to play in the 1.18 world tho. But they shouldn’t have had an impact (I got the same mods for 1.20 too)
What version of the mod has the gates? I downloaded SWEM off Curseforge for 1.18.2 and it does not have any of the items that they show in the video. And I've tried to join their discord and patreon and it says it's no longer available.
How do you get shaders to work with this mod? Soo as I turn on shaders the horse animations stops working. I use oculus and rubidium since optifine didin't do well

The way you get SWEM horses naturally is you mine cantazarite (it's found at copper levels usually), make it in a potion, and give the vanilla pony a potion! It'll make them into a SWEM horse Their wiki has a lot of info on the game, so both survival and creative players can enjoy it! IMO, would love natural spawns or spooked wilds!

If you update from 1.18 to 1.20, save a backup prior. There shouldn't be any problems, but save one just in case. From 1.18 to the newer 1.18, it should be like any other mod update. Whenever updating mods, I would save a backup EACH time (Copy and paste saves folder if you play SP)
SWEM is only available on the Java version of minecraft. Modding on mobile is more complicated and often requires additional apps/addons to run. Bedrock (used on mobile) does not offer proper mod support in this sense. I know people have luck running modded java on steam decks though.

good evening, I encountered a problem with your mod. When I want to play in 1.16.5 everything goes well but once I want to play with version 1.18.2 with other mods or not, it crashes and it bothers me puts an exclamation point on my game. I use curseforge and 1.20.1 does not exist except in neo forge but neo forge does not take into account 1.20.1. I’d make a fresh 1.18 instance and then move in your screenshots and world saves, usually the reason it crashes is because of config or mismatched mods. All other mods you use have to be 1.18 as well.

Unfortunately swem is a mod and Nintendo switches can't mod minecraft, the version switches use is bedrock version and to mod minecraft you need the java version, which is pc only

Turn off entity shadows both in rubidium settings and shader settings! 🫶🏼 I used complementary

1.18.2 does not have flight, 1.20 has flight (1.20 also doesn't have genders yet, only 1.18 right now)

Also disable entity shadows on your Optifine / Rubidium as well

I'd use Rubidium and not Optifine, Optifine is completely unoptimized for 1.18 and causes crashes for me. This is for version 1.18.2 :)
