Pure 80's shrapnel
That guitar tone is somethin else man. So raw! Before bands got pigeonholed into a formula and started to suck. Pleasure to kill is the best tho! Had their own style making them the speed metal kings! Buddy of mine had their logo in white across the back of his leather back around 86 or 87. I'd slam around my room to this often stoned out of mind hating life and loving this!

This ep is why I was not that impressed when "extreme" Black Metal surfaced in the 90's. I had already heard some of the sickest metal in existence. 💀🎧

I've loved this band forever, I was an early 80's thrash kid. My first band in 89 was a thrash band, and KREATOR and Death were my heroes! Forever a f**kin fan! Millie's vocals and Chuck's were the s**t and still are in my opinion!

Awakening Of The Gods!!!! Kreator awoke to their killer Death Thrash nightmares and created yet another classic - 'Flag Of Hate'!!! A killer EP. 'Take Their Lives' is my fave song here - it is just incredible! I bought this in 1986 as well as PTK earlier that year and I loved them both - Kreator were just indestructible and were impeccable back then... those days gave me many great memories. Hails from Canada!!! Flag Of Hate is a Masterpiece in thrashing mayhem!!!!

I got this EP for worth of 1,5$ in -98 and yesterday paid 20€ (+ postage 7€) for it again in VG(+) shape. I think you did overpay a little even the today's prices are indeed insane (it seems the highest prices are already bypassed by 2023). If it's the US-edition with bonuses then I understand the price. Well in fact the acquisition price doesn't matter as it's cult EP anyway for rest of life.

Kreator is super heavy but this is definitely more thrashy. Sodom’s ep was definitely more of a black metal album and they went more thrash as they went on. Kreator is more brutal thrash/deathrash
