Thanks so much! Had to replace the AC pulley/bearing on my 2003 F250 V10 and wanted to remove the fan clutch/shroud for more room. Really like your videos and these old Super Duties!

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I will need to do this on my 1997 Ford E-350 v10 as soon as we get some decent temps. 😃

Thanks for the hint on the chain vice grip. 2005 Excursion V10 Worked great! Still having a ghost in the the machine. Was a bit low on coolant gallon or so. Off to the parts store to get a couple of gallons. About 2 miles from the house started to overheat. Pulled into parts store let it sit for 5 minutes , put gallon in to reservoir. Have replaced radiator, thermostat, upper hoses, reservoir, fan clutch, water pump. On the way home it started to overheat. stopped at a stoplight and it started to cool but not steady. Dropped in steps. about 6 steps and was normal temp all the way home. Bubble in the system??

Was it hot when you turned on the engine (right after installing the new fan clutch)? I ask because I was told my fan clutch isn't working as it should not spin the fan when it's cold. I'm not sure at what temperature it should be engaging at but I through -30 winter weather every year and the fan is always on no matter the temperature. Hoping that replaceing fan and clutch will fix it.

Happy thanksgiving. I have the 03 f250 6.8 it's a great truck but a gas hog! The best I get is 13mpg, anyway watch out for a few things 1 sparkplugs like to blow out on these motors 2, the 4r100 has problems like a snap ring is known for popping out of its grove there are upgrades like shift kits and a social snap ring to fix these problems 3, the plastic timing chain guide and tensioners. Great videos keep up the good work 👍

Why do people babble on and on and on and on and on forever and ever and ever and ever before they get down to the video. Just show what and how you're doing the job.
