I have it on in my car but the assist graph shows that it is off even if its on, how can I enable or fix it?

I am not sure if mine works correctly. I see DRIVER ASSIST PLUS. What I don't see is the pre-brake setting. Also, when I look at the graphic is shows that off symbol, but the car say collision assist is active. Help please.

I find this to be extremely annoying
Yeah, until you really need it. I had it malfunctioning once when it detected a curbstone most probably when exiting a roundabout. The sound alert can sometimes go off when a lot of reflective surfaces are nearby that probably create a ghost imamge for the car. But the advantages heavily outweigh that. When in dynamic traffic jams it's good to know this will take over but without intervening too much. The spound alerts I got were justified, but I mostly am already breaking heavily when it occurs. You need to get used to it.
@@countk1 the same here. on my cla it usually beeped on me when on sharp turns or a pillar entering bridge. I called her beeing just scared and overprotecting but accepting its safety features for me. once it saved me from colliding with truck in front that had to break suddenly on motorway while i was about to overtake it but couldnt cause fast lane was suddenly occupied. it applied excessive breaking pressure when it detected my force wasnt enough and saved me from accident.
