12 New Beginnings. Tetiana Prysiajniuk. TRAILER

7-year-old Tetiana came to Moldova from Vinnytsia with her mother and older sister. At first, she struggled to adjust to the new school - everything was in Russian, and she didn’t know the language that well. Fast forward two years - and now she learns easily, speaks Romanian, and even co-hosted a TV show on national television. Talk about a successful integration!
“I really like Vinnytsia, there are a lot of pretty statues and parks there. The people are very kind. But I think they are much kinder in Moldova. Everyone wants to help us here!”
The project “12 New Beginnings” was created by the “Schotyjnavyk” team and the “Moldova-1” TV channel, in partnership with the National Congress of Ukrainians of Moldova and with the financial support of UNHCR-Moldova and Intersos Moldova, co-funded by European Union, in the framework of the “Big Heart: Keep On Beating” yearly event. Part of the stories was shot during the collaboration project "Support for Ukrainian Refugees through Media", launched by UNESCO with funding from the Government of Japan.
