This color story reminds me so much of the VISEART Dark Edit, and that one launched over four years ago. At this point in time, I really don't think there are many truly unique color stories left, especially when it comes to big brands. I think I'll stick to the Viseart one, because NO ONE does textures better than Viseart.
The colors in this palette remind me of my childhood in NY. I had a dress the same colors and mulberry and ember. You did an excellent job guiding us. I might just leap to get it 🙂 I see Value 😍

Hi Em! Decided to pass on this one even though I do like the darker color story from ABH. I just treated myself to the Hourglass face palette (with the 🦉 packaging…eek) , and I’ve hit my makeup budget until December. Plus, I have Viseart’s Dark Edit and some fantastic shimmer and metallics in my collection that can maybe not dupe the palette, but dupe the vibes. I’d still love to hear your thoughts on this palette, and I’ll do so while making a big pot of chicken tortellini soup. I’ve got a house with a sick little to take care of! ❤
I re-watch your older videos as I get ready in the morning, and the one about child-birth proof makeup when Rhett was born inspired me to dig out my maybelline superstay foundation. I am just loving the look of it with my Laura Geller pink buttercream blush. Such a great combo! Radiant, but smoooooth! ❤ Thank you for the inspiration!

I think it depends on your coloring. Like you, I have high contrast between skintone/hair/eyes/brows. You rock this extremely well. I think if I were low contrast, this would overwhelm me. I have a lot of indies, so I am covered on this palette, but it sure is pretty.

Oh my... I just got to the stage where I am like "no, I am not going to by a palette this Black Friday" and I managed to talk myself out of some contenders... and then comes this palette... I love the light-dark contrast and these colors are just perfect for my pale olive-ish complexion and dark hair!
I cannot wait to get this palette now. Beautiful looks that you came up with. I really like to play with colors too. Also I’m the same way with getting hot easily. I see people in long sleeves in the summer, and it baffles me. Even in the fall and winter, I can’t enjoy sweaters anymore unless it’s super cold out.
Oh interesting 😊 other reviews made me question this pallette. The greens but also the darker brownish shades seemed too similar on a lot of people and it seems to lack variety due to this. So I was a bit sad as I love ABH normally. Am looking forward to this!!
I love the look and feel of this palette. I was so tempted to get it and then realised the Beauty Bay Age of Opulence Palette has a very similar vibe to it. There are teals rather than greens in the Beauty Bay palette but I feel it has a similar level of depth and dark, autumnal feel to it.
This pallet is so gorgeous, but you’re absolutely right I wouldn’t know what to do with it. But I think it would look beautiful on medium or olive skin tones.
Hi, Emily and Happy Birthday to Belle! Wow, I can't believe she's almost double digits! I am so glad you reviewed this ABH palette. I had my eye on it because I love purples and greens and wines, but I think I might be a tad too fair for the extreme contrasts. I'm about 2 shades lighter than you, but otherwise we have similar coloring. I have hazel green eyes and dark hair with cool/fair skin... but the dark end of fair, not super white fair. I think I'm going to pass on the Fall Romance palette. The other one you cited isn't quite right for me, either. I want cool pink, icy blue, mauve, plum and navy. Still looking... lol
These are so my colors. Wish there was a more green green in there. Ill probably skip this one though, Im sure I can find some beautiful greens and purples in my stash. Love how the look turned out!

I have always liked Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palettes, I really want to try this palette and the eyeshadow look you did is really nice. I am not sure if purple suits me or not but it is one of my favourite colours and i am so ready for Autumn/Fall. 😊

Because there is not enough light to dark contrast I've got to pass there are some beautiful shades in the palette but such an emphasis on dark bold looks and basically the looks will all turn out the same result imo there isn't enough variety for me thankyou for the review and showing the looks you created
I have this palette! But when I put on crimson it didn’t really translate the color on my eyelid! Maybe I need to put eye primer? It just looked dark! I wanted more of a cranberry shade
