Hey guys, what's up?
9th playthrough as Rolento. Probably you are asking why Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 2 instead of Zero 2 Alpha? Basically both Gen and Rolento has better stuffs like more comobs than in Zero 2 Alpha, this is the mainly reason, only Gen and Rolento are the exceptions, don't worry.

Really enjoyed seeing one of my fav Alpha series characters. The health still draining while the match is over, going to the next match was entertaining.

The damage from that jump kick custom combo is just unreal…
I knew about this combo from doing it on the mid '90s on the Saturn. It had a mode that would allow your buttons to act like they all had the turbo function on, and I would go into training to see what I could do with the custom combos using that. Rolento was the only character I figured out a true touch of death custom combo with. Thing is, you can actually start it on the ground doing his sliding sweep to juggle them, then launch yourself up with his command jump, hit them multiple times on the way up, and on the way down.
edit: Oh, I see he actually starts the second one the way during the Guy final fight.

Your new short brought me here. Great video! Have you heard about the recently confirmed damage boost to the player who loses round 1? They get +1 damage to every hit and I would love to see what you could do with that, especially with a character who hits so many times like Rolento 🤩 (See TheoryFighter's video Street Fighter's 25 Year Old Secret)

Is it just me, or does SFA2 have better aesthetics than SFA3?
I always liked part 1 and 2 more than 3.
Alpha 2 is grittier. Alpha 3 is polished and like candy, with its infectious synth tunes and kawaii graphics.

I would say the opposite. Alpha 3 always had an absolute chaos sort of feel to it to me. The fast paced music with the insane gameplay of that game made that game nuts.

Great. We all know he can do epic combos but the fact you obviously set the difficulty to easy made it a lot less interesting to watch on a whole:
It actually was on expert difficulty. This is a TAS, so obviously it’ll be in Rolento’s favor, hence him not getting hit. Plus for the most part higher difficulty mainly just increases the damage your opponents do

Why no shin akuma or secret boss
He didn't pick the original color by pressing any punch (or any kick if using P2 side). Mandatory condition for Shin Akuma Battle. Rival Battle triggers only if you get 5 super or custom combo finish and he didn't get that too.

オリコンでの空中攻撃は全キャラできるわけではないんですよねー。だから開発のミスなのか、ダメ調整が入ってないって当時のゲーメストにかいてあったような気がします
