Sasha, thank you so much for uploading these. Seeing you perform this live was a highlight of my recent years, and I never thought I'd see these performances outside of my head ever again. You mean so much to so many 💘🌈
There was a video of sasha performing this song pre-drag race that I watched when the meet the queens videos for season 9 came out, and I vividly remember being totally enraptured in her performance. I knew I was introduced to a really amazing artist. Every once in a while I went back to that video and was just as captivated as the first time. It's beautiful to see her doing this number again.
Back then people were saying "what's she gonna do when she has to lip sync on Drag Race tho? She can't bring her projector lol."
Then she pulled a trick so fierce that it pretty much broke the finale (and many finales afterward 🦋). Her mind is too powerful
the projected face on the dress seems to be an old recording of her early drag shows and that gives the whole performance another layer, Sasha's work is so beautiful and thought of... one of the most inspiring performers I've ever seen live. Thank you for sharing this, can't wait to see what new show she comes up with :')
The projected face is so creepy, and the brows design was very different but I didn't think of that. Thanks for sharing this, it really makes it more profound. Loved the drama, the lyrics got me... 😔

Always been my favorite performance... from a tiny hotel ballroom in Austin to the stage of the Paramount to RUclips. It's a chilling and arresting performance that completely shifts the energy in the room.
I am so amazed by this preformance. I had to watch it twice to even grasp on it. So high concept high art high drag.

I never thought I'd get to see these performances again ❤I attended Sasha's Ottawa stop for Smoke and Mirrors solo, and when she said it would be like "sexy therapy".. uh, yeah. I cried and laughed on and off for the whole show, and genuinely felt changed by it. It stayed with me for weeks afterwards, and I've never forgotten how awe-inspiring of a production it is. All I can hope for now is that Sasha releases a DVD version of the show, maybe with some more cool BTS clips like we're seeing on these RUclips uploads? I can never have enough Sasha ❤
