I think the cab driver drove off when she didn’t show at the spot but then saw her walking and picked her up. I would want to know when he was last accounted for after he drove off. It was dark/ early morning and he knew she was walking and alone/ upset. Further more it looks like lazy police work. They failed to interview the man within a mile who killed two other women. They did not pursue to press the cab driver when he totally refused to take a lie detector and wouldn’t let them in the house when a women was said to be screaming from it. Just bad all around.
@@amandanegrete1306 you are new , aren't you? It's possible that a cab company has this standard but most cereal killers don't have a criminal background.
this is nonsense, have there been cab drivers who have killed, sure!, have there been doctors and or even judges who have killed innocent members of the public, yes!. these outliers are no reason to categorically believe that cab drivers are killers. if there were many cab driver killers, trust me, no one would use a cabs, period!
Nah man I can't lie I'd be exactly like this if I knew I was innocent. I'd be pissed someone was accusing me of murder with no evidence and even more pissed at getting arrested, searched, and swabbed. It's affects his employment and his reputation. But, I also hate the police so.
Listening to him describe her gave me chills. It's like he forgot he was in front of the camera and his demeanor/tone went somewhere creepy. I think it could have been both of them that killed her. After all, they were in the same location at the same time. Yet he is trying too passively aggressively push blame. The guy definitely likes the attention of being on camera. He talks too much. Describes things with a lot of detail, where none needs to be given. It's as if he put a story together and rehearsed it. Honestly, every person of interest seem to be hiding something. The police dept is incompetent and hopeless. They want to ask basic questions that should have been asked from the beginning. Why the interviewer didn't call them on it is horrible journalism. Everything eventually surfaces one way or another. I hope she and her family will be at peace one day 🙏
Obviously I'm not a professional or anything, but that cab driver's reaction seemed genuine. I was following that case back in 2013 and just from reading about it I was having him high on the list of potential suspects, but after seeing the interrogation footage, he dropped down quite a bit. If he is guilty, he's putting on a helluva show.
That's actually true what the father of the cab driver was saying. That happens all the time with cabs with taking eachother's customers. I used to own a cab business myself.
Considering they had nothing on the cab driver, it’s absolutely not ok how they arrested him out of his house, in cuffs and without decent clothes. No wonder he was pissed. The cop does not sound very intelligent. Sorry to judge solely based on his ability to speak, but I would not trust him with my daughters murder. Time for a new team.
Warning headphone users: All audio is only in the left ear except the background music which is only in the right ear. It's incredibly distracting and annoying..
If you want someone to cooperate, you don't put handcuffs behind their back. That's a clear act of suspicion. If he's just coming in for questioning (and isn't a suspect), that shouldn't be necessary.
Can we all save our families the heartache and stop leaving places on our own?😕 we should be able to leave on our own but it’s not the world we live in.
I 100% understand why the cab driver is so upset, and why his father seems interested. Your business and family is under attack and being harassed so focus can be placed somewhere else than the cops ignoring this case for so long. Frankly, the officer in the interview seems unconvincing about everything he has said. Her friends that couldn't be reached and/or refused to give an interview seem highly suspect. They have a "sick joke" about pretty much what happened......idk but seems off. If one of my best friends had something like this happen if do every interview, answer every question, just anything to keep interest about the case up.
Try this for a theory: Father picked Adrienne up before the gas station, and the son (in another cab) made an appearance at the gas station to establish a video alibi. Both father and son were in on the kidnap and murder,
It's quite possible another cab did pick Adrienne up before she reached the service station. She may have seen a cab and waved it down and that driver took her, a drunk, upset vulnerable young lady God knows where. Lots of cab drivers have been caught as killers and rapists. In my town the only 2 taxi companies are always stealing each others customers from the only 2 taxi ranks in town.
She was a friend of mine ...Everything the said about her smile was true, she was a genuine beautiful person..I was devastated when I found out about the cops finding her body...the monster that did this will get what they deserve in this life or the next
I lived in this neighborhood for years a block from her apartment .. Not really the best area. I have friends that knew Adrienne from church. This case is one of those cases that really make you say “huh?? “ 🤔 The road from her apartment to the gas station is super dark and there is always homeless people at that park in between her apt and the gas station.. I don’t feel a girl her age would walk alone knowing that it’s dark and theres always homeless people right at that park. Makes me wonder… was someone else with her when she was supposed to walk to the ampm from her parked car? Did someone stop to help her move her car when she crashed it? Did someone follow her when they saw her crash, knowing she was probably intoxicated? ALSO.. how do they know 100% that she went home to change after the accident when everyone said they didn’t see her? I hope one day someone comes forward and we can solve this tragedy.
People have kids and don't make them street smart. I've never been to Tempe, but it's similar to Vegas, where I have cycled at night as a grown man. Why this chick thought that she could walk and be safe in darkness is beyond me. Every young person needs to know: your impulse control sucks, and your frontal lobe is NOT fused until your mid-twenties.
Let me tell you, I have to work around cab drivers every night and 90% of them are weirdos so that's not very suspicious to me. It's like a requirement to be a cab driver
What a beautiful girl, incredible loss indeed. Now let's get some intelligent, highly motivated people on the case! That damn cop is talking about this murder like is a traffic citation, even chuckled, idiot!
In other shows the investigators say, "If he was innocent, I'd expect him to be protest his innocence." Watching the cabby's interview, I wonder if this is what they mean.
I agree. They had him at the police station at least twice. Could've asked those questions then. It would've been different if those questions were asked, but he refused to answer. If that were the case, that cop definitely would have said so.
From a lot of the docos I watch (as part of my research for my forensic novels) the head and the hands detach from the body as the first parts of the human body that detach as a result of decomposition. So, it is not a surprise that this poor child's body would not be whole and complete -- especially after a severe flood. What a difficult case for the police to resolve IF NO-ONE IS TELLING what they really know. I know who I have my eye on. The taxi driver would be on my radar... And the Zombie Hunter...
Being drunk and emotional made her a target. Dear Adrienne, lm so sorry some evil person or people hurt you and took u from this world. Rest in peace baby girl. You are loved and missed.
Young women: do not go walking alone at night or jogging in an isolated area or at night; get a CCP, always carry a concealed, loaded handgun, hunting knife, Mace, etc.
Or we could just make society a better place for women by teaching our boys to do better. It's ridiculous to think that a woman can't go outside at night without being armed in America. We have to do better and the onus shouldn't be on women.
So sad, such a beautiful and vivacious young lady! These young adults and their drinking jealousy causes so much distress! I've seen my own young daughter and her boyfriend do crazy things that may not have ended so well! They aren't mature enough to give it one more day... My heart goes out to that beautiful young lady's family😢🙏💔 She could have been anything she desired and it's heartbreaking!!!
Police Officer: “The cab driver has been cooperative” 😳 Did he not hear the same thing we just heard? Some lady’s cousin heard a woman screaming in the cab driver’s apartment and it sounded like someone was trying to cover her mouth. The police tried to follow up *but he would NOT let them in his apartment!”* Or just listen to 19:07 or even *ANY* of the interview between 20:00 - 23:40! If that is what the cop thinks cooperation is *NO WONDER* this case is sill unsolved! 😳😳 Interviewer: (I didn’t want to write everyone’s name so I just left it at “everyone”) “We’ve talked to everyone involved in the case” (41:24) but then he says, “We talked to Brian Patrick. Miller’s lawyer and she said she never even heard of the Salinas case and that the police have never even asked to speak with her client”...”(41:14) 🤔🤔🤔
Your fourth amendment constitutional right is not to have unlawful search and seizures. If the cop really thought someone was in danger it would take only 15 minutes or so to get a judge to sign a paper saying they have probable cause. If the cop came to the apartment and no one was screaming at the time then they do not have any probable cause to get a warrant. It could be the neighbor was hearing voices or was mixed up as to what sounds she heard, maybe tv or even what apartment it came from.
@@naughtysauce4323 omg I totally agree. I reckon he did it and thought this was the perfect opportunity to pin it on someone else hope he was investigated. The way he talked about her smile and how much he had in common with a serial killer. That alone is suspect serial killers usually are loners right?
If hands and head was left off it was to conceal the person's identity and they were buried or tossed somewhere else. Or, the person is a serial killer who takes body parts as a trophy. They needed to check the cameras for EVERYONE in that area...
for the cab driver to ask if they found all of her would have been a red flag for me as a investigator, at the time he wouldn't have know she was dismembered. they can get his GPS off the cab to see where he was at the time.
My mom got raped by a cab driver in Houston Texas. My mom did not speak English she was a very shy timid woman she never really defended herself . Well 26 years later she told me what happened to her. 😔
I find this journalist very deep with his words and every intent to uncover the truth. Walking you through with every specific detail all the way to the end.
So... she has an accident, police are called, she drives away from the scene dragging two wheels from the accident to within a block of her apartment. She calls a cab to pick her up, video shows that she never made it to the appointed pick up (gas station) and the cab arrived and left empty. Not saying the cab driver is a spotless example of a clean living and a helpful humanitarian devoted to selflessness and Devine love. Buuuut... Cops didn't follow the trail of rubber tire tracks and wheel pieces to the location of the car? Driving on flat tires does that. Cops investigate everyone but the cop dispatched to the scene of the accident. Oh, wait, I just remembered... (silly me) cops are beyond suspicion because something magical happens when they're issued a badge and are endowed with superhuman compassion, caring and the inability to ever commit a theft, child molestation or murder after that. Like Catholic priests being beyond reproach, that'd never take sexual advantage of parishioners or their children because when they're made priests something magical happens and they can't do things like murder over a thousand children whose skeletons were found behind Catholic run residential schools across Canada... something about being filled with the spirit of their imaginary friend. At this point it's been almost ten years, they've had a lot of time to wash their hands... and the rest of the evidence. Evidence buried behind the blue wall.
WHO CARES IF THE CAB DRIVER SHOWED UP AT THE GAS STATION AND SHE DIDNT…think about this!! She calls the cab company and the cab driver says “it would be easier for me if your went to the gas station for me to pick you up” the cab driver then knows what route she is walking and that she is on foot so he drives that way snatches her up and continues on to the gas station or he tells the dad to snatch her up and goes to the gas station…so it could have been a team effort. I wish I could have everything on this whole case I would solve it.
Taxi driver: 1. Last known contact 2. Other customers referred to him as 'creepy' 3. Reported screams coming from apartment 4. Not cooperating with/verbally abusing police 5. Dad made weird video of the quarter mile
The cab driver did it..I'm convinced let's start with the dad's super sketch video, the son's convenient excuse saying "she never showed up" , the alleged screams coming from his apartment, his COMPLETE ACT in the police station....there is no such thing as a coincidence
This case. This one case has haunted me for years. This case should've been solved. I just feel like the investigation was not thorough. I'm pretty sure you can find out which direction the cab driver came from to see if it coincides with the direction she was walking. Ijs I lived in that area; across the street from the gas station. I've never felt unsafe. This case has been weird the moment I saw her picture.
It hit me hard too. I lived in the area when she went missing, the first time I saw one of the posters my heart sank. I never heard what happened to her until now. I remember we had mutual friends and it was so awful watching their posts on fb urging police to do more...she deserves justice.
The cab driver is a weird guy.. the dad is helping him cover the crime up. He picked her up on her way to the ampm, as mentioned before maybe he perhaps saw her walking . He killed her & they have a cab company sooo how sure are you he didn’t show you another cab and switched the plates ? Smh there’s too much evidence the screams & the fact that he doesn’t want to do the lie detector & get his home searched , I mean if one has nothing to hide why not?
There's absolutely no logic in your statement at all. You should probably look into polygraph tests and how they in no way benefit the person taking them as they are not admissible in court. Also, lots of facts can cause an innocent person to fail one, sometimes even medical conditions. Ask any attorney what they think about those tests and whether or not you should ever agree to take one. I wouldn't. Also, if we're following you're logic, would you be completely okay if law enforcement stopped you on your way home and literally tore your car apart looking for something? You have nothing to hide, so you should have no issue with the inconvenience/invasion of privacy/disrespect of your property, right?
@@astridvvv9662 You do not know what you are talking about or have done little research on the case. Go learn the facts, Cab Driver guilty as hell.. Do you know the history of the cab company and the criminal history of him and his dad?
It's total bs when the cops say there's no chance it was a stranger. Good-looking girl, drunk and emotional, stumbling down the street at 4am, would be like a flashing neon sign to any predators who saw her. And because of her jealousy seeing her guy flirt with other girls, might be receptive to some guy who stopped and offered to help. They have video at the am/pm so they would have seen if she got in the cab. These cops are lazy, don't want to do the hard work of doorknocking, checking all the video in the area, etc., so they are desperately trying to pin it on the cab driver even though there is no evidence he did anything. I don't blame the cab driver for being pissed. I don't believe they even spoke to every partygoer.
7:38 BIG MISTAKE cop. He literally is stating her thoughts as facts. Saying she called a cab to meet her at am/pm cos she was embarrassed about wrecking her car and that her friends would ask, THERE IS NO WAY HE COULD KNOW THAT FOR SURE he’s guessing why she called a cab but he’s staying it like fact when he couldn’t know that. Even though it’s an educated guess because she crashed her car he’s acting certain of it (this is how cops get tunnel vision) she might have called the cab to there because she wanted to get a soda and she knew the time the cab would take. What’s more likely is that she realised that if they found her car and ran the plate they’d be looking for her so she didn’t want to be there waiting at home incase the police arrived before the cab. Wouldn’t that be more likely? But oh no! Deputy dawgs said she went to ampm she was embarrassed of her friends NOT maybe, not possibly, he made his mind up and since she’s dead we’ll never know but deputy dawg genius has made up his mind and that’s what happened. That’s how he’s certain she was embarrassed. I hate when cops do that they make an assumption but state it as fact and these are the things that defence attorneys tear down at trial. Little wonder it’s unsolved with that cop running it. No wonder he’s a college town cop (more used to just arresting drunk drivers and. Breaking up house parties) and not a real investigator in a real town.
So there was a girl’s screaming from the cab drivers house the night she went missing and the cops just went away because he never opened the door?
Well if someone calls the cops on you to do a welfare check the cops don’t have permission to enter. So if you act like no one is home yes they can’t knock the door down without a search warrant. And at that point they weren’t looking at anyone cause she wasn’t reported missing yet. So there would be no reason for further investigation at that time. I dont take cabs in certain places. Taxi drivers have been know to kill especially when the person is drunk or in a vulnerable position.
Wow I didn't know taxi drivers were known for killing people. ..
shawn douglass lol, nor did I. To my understanding professional cab drivers are subject to in depth background checks.
Anyone can kill anytime. It’s not that “cab drivers are known to kill” any more than anyone else has been known to kill
That taxi cab driver is a real piece of work!
Nah man I can't lie I'd be exactly like this if I knew I was innocent. I'd be pissed someone was accusing me of murder with no evidence and even more pissed at getting arrested, searched, and swabbed. It's affects his employment and his reputation. But, I also hate the police so.
He acts like I would expect an innocent man would act.

There’s something off about that last guy they’re interviewing. Selling out his “friend.” He was at that party too...
Sergio Garcia Not when your ex-friend is a serial killer
Hell yeah!!!
Any time someone points the finger it makes me look harder at them!!
I hope she and her family will be at peace one day 🙏
That whole case is a mess
This case needs investigators who actually care to really interview every suspect to solve this case.
I live in this neighborhood, this is not a safe area.
Why you stay there lol 😂 ?
Obviously I'm not a professional or anything, but that cab driver's reaction seemed genuine. I was following that case back in 2013 and just from reading about it I was having him high on the list of potential suspects, but after seeing the interrogation footage, he dropped down quite a bit. If he is guilty, he's putting on a helluva show.
That's actually true what the father of the cab driver was saying. That happens all the time with cabs with taking eachother's customers. I used to own a cab business myself.
Yep! Tow truck drivers do the same
It’s called stealing a load
Considering they had nothing on the cab driver, it’s absolutely not ok how they arrested him out of his house, in cuffs and without decent clothes. No wonder he was pissed.
The cop does not sound very intelligent. Sorry to judge solely based on his ability to speak, but I would not trust him with my daughters murder. Time for a new team.
So sad what happened to this young girl. If it hadn't rained her remains probably wouldn't of been found.
The cop is so lazy he can't even pronounce his words. He sounds drunk
Barney Fife police guy would like to have lots of conversations with people but for some reason he can't figure out how to make that happen.
Warning headphone users: All audio is only in the left ear except the background music which is only in the right ear. It's incredibly distracting and annoying..
The way the police treated the cab guy is the reason why he would not trust you.
If you want someone to cooperate, you don't put handcuffs behind their back. That's a clear act of suspicion. If he's just coming in for questioning (and isn't a suspect), that shouldn't be necessary.
They didn’t treat him bad. And obviously he’s guilty. The screaming coming from his home the same day is no coincidence.

Very bizarre people surrounding this case. Sad story
@ Hot fried griyo and Peeklees - I thought the same damn thing the whole time I was watching this! Very strange bunch.
No warrants for his home? SMH 🤦♀️
Try this for a theory: Father picked Adrienne up before the gas station, and the son (in another cab) made an appearance at the gas station to establish a video alibi. Both father and son were in on the kidnap and murder,
Oh wow that's good
OMG.... this case is being handled by the keystone cops the father should request the FBI to get involved.
I have never forgotten this poor girl.

I agree. They had him at the police station at least twice. Could've asked those questions then. It would've been different if those questions were asked, but he refused to answer. If that were the case, that cop definitely would have said so.
He GOT A LAWYER.

Super healthy
absolutely. I see so many women jogging alone that I am scared for them. They feel like nothing will ever happen.
Or we could just make society a better place for women by teaching our boys to do better. It's ridiculous to think that a woman can't go outside at night without being armed in America. We have to do better and the onus shouldn't be on women.
And carry it with hollow points. You don't want your attacker being able to come at you again.

Police Officer: “The cab driver has been cooperative” 😳
Did he not hear the same thing we just heard? Some lady’s cousin heard a woman screaming in the cab driver’s apartment and it sounded like someone was trying to cover her mouth. The police tried to follow up *but he would NOT let them in his apartment!”* Or just listen to 19:07 or even *ANY* of the interview between 20:00 - 23:40! If that is what the cop thinks cooperation is *NO WONDER* this case is sill unsolved! 😳😳
Interviewer: (I didn’t want to write everyone’s name so I just left it at “everyone”) “We’ve talked to everyone involved in the case” (41:24) but then he says, “We talked to Brian Patrick.
I heard that too so therefore the cab drivers Apartment should have been search.

This
7:38 BIG MISTAKE cop. He literally is stating her thoughts as facts. Saying she called a cab to meet her at am/pm cos she was embarrassed about wrecking her car and that her friends would ask,
THERE IS NO WAY HE COULD KNOW THAT FOR SURE he’s guessing why she called a cab but he’s staying it like fact when he couldn’t know that.
It sounds like the cops already spoke to this young lady
