The scientists were actually trying to resurrect frozen mice and they were successful and accidentally created the microwave. Resurrecting something from frozen only seems to work on small creatures though.
There is an amazing video by Tom Scott “I promise this story about microwaves is interesting” where he talks about this and even interviews the scientist who made a microwave to unfreeze hamsters. It’s a great watch.
Bread takes 20 seconds to cook but 10 slices (a whole loaf) takes 30 seconds so you can safety hob loaves so yiu don't have to hit the microwave. You need 2 hobs doing loaves for every 3 hobs making toast Great vid as always though skoots, keep it up!
I'm sure the run is already over but wouldn't just splitting the output of auto bead be a lot better than having two auto bread setups? Same with beans now that I think of it. You could have auto beans and auto bread going to the middle that splits the setup for two players from one setup.
If you are lacking space, money, or the appliances needed then definitely. Getting both things automated quicker and cheaper is better than building an entire 2nd cooking operation at this point of the game. However for them none of that is really an issue and having two setups looks much better for their "splitting the kitchen in half" thing that they got going on for this map.
you can use the portioners to automate em soup also, when i heard "purple guy" in the throwback toys, i started thinking about William Afton, but then i remembered Grimace was one of their mascots
The soaking sinks could have still been super useful. Plop them in any open space and let them do their thing. It doesn't have to be full auto to be useful- you can put a plate in, when it's clean you can take it out and serve on it immediately. It wouldn't be incredible necessarily but it could still help
actually this half-half is good to make everyone get to cook and serve job in equally .. imao skottie are most cook so far so got usually better in arrangements of the cook set from the beginning .. but in the late game since it takes much space in the kitchen I guess it'd be combining into 1 set ..
Bibim-bap just means mixed-rice essentially from what I understand and it’s most often in the hot stone bowls but metal bowls are common too from what I’ve seen in relation to ~15:00
Hey Skoottie, I had some ideas for a co-op map after seeing your initial video on this layout. I can send you the links to it if you're interested, since RUclips doesn't allow us to post TinyUrls anymore. It's a bigger map but the goal is to split the work in half and let each other be in charge of their own layouts with a shared room that demands communication to use effectively. This map can double as a PvP map too if you come up with some arbitrary rules that your partner agrees is fair. I also made a custom solo map that was meant to be challenging, but not impossible. It's symmetrical so you have possibilities for good decisions, but the layout itself demands good design choices from the player to survive and eventually get to their automated solutions. I intentionally designed it so that late-game automated runs are satisfying but you have to be actively engaged in your design to get there.
@6:33, Can you pull a pot onto a portioner, with that portioner facing the beans? Then have smart grabber pull the pot with beans? Genuinely don’t know if the game will let you do that.
gng's side of the kitchen is completely blocked off at the end. he has only one path which is very windy, and it forces him to run through all the goop all the time. the customers aren't messier than normal; all their mess is just concentrated directly in his singular path (and he's not very diligent about cleaning it and tracks it with the trainers). i hope he rearranges his side in the next vid!
The bread toasting is such a bottleneck you could’ve gotten away with one dough/sink apparatus that has a grabber to each side since they wind up waiting for microwave anyway
57:40 I'm caucasian not asian(European heritage mostly) I think I saw my first grey hair when I was 16 and my mom said there was no way and it was probably a blonde strand but it was more straw like than the rest of my hair. At 18 i know for sure I had a couple and now at 32 I have some for sure but you could probably not tell because how far and few they are apart. My mom is about 60 and she she was in her 50's she didn't have a noticeable amount of grey hair but she does now. Funny thing is I still look pre tty young for my age so if if I tell anyone I get grey hair they look confused. I get like random hairs on my body being grey now like on my arm or leg xD or I'll have like a super, super long invisible hair which is odd xD It may have been from stress or malnutrition... not sure if hereditary. Sorry this has nothing to do with game play, Itsgng just sparked my brain to want to confirm what he was talking about.
Dolsot means hot stone bowl, regular bibimbop doesn't necessarily come in the stone bowl. If a restaurant serves you dolsot bibimbop in a regular bowl they're scamming you
Why doesn't the grabber taking toast off the safety hob have to be a smart grabber? I would have thought that the regular grabber would take the un-toasted bread as soon as it got to the hob.
Lol this convo at 2:36
-Microwaves are for defrosting
-Defrosting rice?
-Mice not rice
-Oh thats so much more logical
-Is it?

To show you the power of Flextape i cut this kitchen in half!
I recommend this a while back ago. I’m so happy to see you guys do this

Tray stand can be amazing once you're used to it (especially with an auto-plater), but it can be a struggle to learn at first lol.
58:42 They should add that to the game and call the expansion: Next level
You two are my favorite Plate up players, the way you mastered this game is mesmerizing!
BTW pot on portioner pointing to the beans should work like a portioner can do it with other items like coffee to espresso
I'm sure the run is already over but wouldn't just splitting the output of auto bead be a lot better than having two auto bread setups? Same with beans now that I think of it.

58:24 Im Asian(Chinese) and I do have gray/white hair in my teen years.

I live for these PlateUp videos! Haha
Tom Scott has a really good video on the Microwave Mice
Yeah! “I promise this story about microwaves is interesting”
i have never seen this channel before but oh my god the way that i immediately recognized the other guy as gavin it gave me whiplash

I'm amused by the goop problem near the end. It's was 100% from wearing trainers

58:20 for your question there are some my people in their 20 have grey hairs my grandma have it in her 20's so not all have it
Very interesting concept
Can you do custom maps on Switch version??? or is only mods in pc :(
You can't do mods for any game on switch unless it's a hacked switch
I'm late but just pre crisp your rice in a pan and even better do it in an airfrier it's amazing in the airfrier 6 min 350
My brother and I both had grey hairs in high school. Supposedly our father did too. We're predominately German, dutch and English.
Could you replace microwave with safety hop for full autonomy on the toast?

i don't know if the microwave guy got a nobel prize but i do know that the guy who invented air conditioning has statue in florida

Idk what gng's RUclips is to tag him here, but @itsgng ? Idk
Great content kiu. Quick ? Whats this seeds name and can you play it without mod or is this just part of the mod? Thx
You can do custom maps now!? Man that was my biggest gripe with the game, the dumb maps... this makes me want to play again.
Its a mod

are you making your own maps or you using the maps from the gallery? coz i tried to make my own map, but it doesnt generate. :(
okay, so apperently my kitchen too big for the game. you can see it on the log from the other window if your design have error.
i was trying to play this map with a friend but she kept getting kicked, does she have to have it the mod downloaded too?
Yes
What is code seeds for this layout?
What seed is this? I think my son would love to play this 1 with me.
