I totally agree with the comments made and I would ban them from fishing anywhere. . I though as a human we had progress to being sportsmen and could show respect for our quarry. .

I find taking a fish or two in such prolific conditions ok, but, I am 60 and have always fished in the anticipation of eating part of what I catch. Every year a 10 lb plus for smoking and a 5 lb grilse for a summer evening treat. I know we must protect the resource and I put back at least 85% of the one's I am lucky enough to catch. But, please don't make the death so barbaric! I would love to catch a steelhead one day and, maybe eat a small one! After all, why else do we fish, really?
What an achievement--- but there must have been a lot of salmon 'on the ground then! As you get older you guys fishing you'll be aware that the world of salmon fishing is inundated with grizlers and kill joys who's desire it is to stop you fishing.
You are privileged to fish such a fantastic river and you are obviously very skillful salmon anglers but you dont show much respect for your quarry . Why do you still need to kill such fantastic specimens after all your years of fishing. You seem to be giving the two fingers to the majority of salmon anglers around the world who practice catch and release, Disappointing. from Norway
