- It's been a down year for the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiving core. However, things continue to look up for one wideout on the roster. Rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice, 23, flashed once again in the team's 27-17 victory over the New England Patriots, setting a franchise record in the process. At seven, Rice is now officially the sole record holder for the most receiving touchdowns by a Chiefs rookie.

This man is going to be great in KC for years to come, everyone be picking up that Rice #4 jersey! Love this guy's desire and with 15 throwing to him there is no ceiling to what RR can accomplish
The best trait he has is doing the simple thing’s consistently. Like turning up the field instead of trying to juke. Know it’s good when PM said his a fast learner & started mimicking Kelce in finding mini pockets/ad libs that Mahomes likes. Imagine if we get another WR or TE
I'm just waiting to see if someone steals him after this year. If we get him on a good contract this is my next jersey!
@@certes7423He will still be on his rookie deal 3 years. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
In an interview with Defense Coach Spags, he had the greatest quote "we're chasing rings, not records"
Don't understand how this guy isn't on the field 100% of the time. Him playing 50-75% of the snaps is a crime.
He played 90% of snaps last week. But yea he should be out there nearly ever snap
I think they’re trying to hide him for the postseason Andy been Andy doesn’t play Rookies a lot
Andy Reid's tricky plays are complicated to learn, and most of his rookie WR have been basically redshirted. So for him to be this productive already is a really good sign
He is still a rookie. It takes a few years to fully develop in some ways. He's doing great fulfilling the role they have slotted for him. And that role is being expanded, it just takes time.
So excited for this young man to catch passes from Pat for the next 10 years. His potential is sky-high.
Smartest and most dedicated receiver in the Chiefs' receiver room. This dude has a hell of a future ahead of him. He's a baller
Rice is amazing. Mahomes n rice the new duo
I like everything he said! Hopefully Ross can have this type of attitude and work ethic too!
Justyn?
@@corywilson2007 yes
I hope they play him. I think he's our second best option at receiver.
damn i like him. great interview. Go Chiefs!
He’s balling out year one. But he has to secure the ball and get rid of the drops. Lfg Rice!!
Man what he’s showing in his rookie season is awesome. Please tell me he’s that dude like a Justin Jefferson.
Personally, I think his best comp is AJ Brown. Great physicality and yac with underrated route running and hands
He ain’t got that top line speed. He’s more deebo than either JJ or AJ imo
Fumble prone
He’s Dwayne Bowe 2.0
@@KlvnDxxminique well Dwayne Bowe had a habit of catching the meaningless balls, but dropping the ones in big moments. If Rashee can just be reverse Dwayne Bowe, ill be happy with that😅
SO PROUD OF YOU RA!!!!
I'm so glad we have 4️⃣. Rice, rice, baby!
Man you ask the perfect questions I would want to ask. Great job
Hell yea Kcmo 💪🏿💪🏿
So basically Toney doesn't have a work ethic
Thats what I heard. Rice aint PR trained yet. Should have left that part out lol.
I really appreciate how rice answers questions.
SunRA🔥👑
RA, the elite rookie, is a mighty flying tiger with wings. His energy has Mahomes executing plays like the "Great Mahomes."
Superbowl LVIII
KT DID check in with the line judge....whoever this dude is. Is it Houshmanzada?
On Monday, Reid walked back his criticism, saying that Toney failed to check with the ref before the play. "Normally, he looks over to the sideline and just gets an OK," Reid told reporters. "On that one, he just happened not to." And yeah that is TJ
@@FuboSports there's literally multiple videos of him doing so. Maybe he didn't get an official OK but he definitely checked with the sideline
@@FuboSports TJ was such an underrated dude. He was as solid as they come.
@@MrCashewkittynah he didn’t check he just told the ref he was on, that’s not the same as checking to see if you lined up right that’s telling them you on the ball
Been saying this til the day y’all got him, Rashee was another unfortunate home run pick by Veatch and company. He’s got a lotta promise
PLEASE COME COACH OUR WRs NEXT YEAR TJ!!!
You know TJ is a for the Bengals.
Duh! It’s a joke
Dude, Mahomes shows his emotion on the Field.
Rice has his share of drops and fumbles. He is the best on the roster though. If these guys quit dropping it and fumbling they could have won several games they lost.
Agreed. He's dangerous when he's has the ball in his hands but he was leading the NFL in drops. Difference between him and Toney is Rice making plays more than mistakes.
Rashee gonna be a dawg
How does it feel to be lumped in with the KC receivers who cant catch anything with all those drops?......ummm.....ummmm..He leads the team in drops hest bad ass enough the rest of the time that he more than makesbup for it. Also, his drops arent coming at horrible times or leading to turnoverss
❤💛
Expected TJ to have some better research. I think Rice is doing great for his rookie year and standing out when the Chiefs need someone to stand out. However, he does have the highest drops on the team and at one time had the highest drops in the NFL.. What's helped is his catch to drop ratio is now much better due to him getting more targets. The other difference has been the drops haven't been as impactful of Toney's but the data is what it is and TJ is either unaware or ignoring it
..
Rice is nasty
im getting a jersey
Bruh, it WAS him too. He still drop passes & still fumbling
Ironically Rice has the most drops of any receiver on the Chiefs....
This interviewer really hasn't watched many of the games has not done any research obviously....
fun fact. it is rashee.. he leads the team in drop. difference is hes ACTUALLY a gamer and makes up for his mistakes. but it absolutely "is him" when it comes to being a part of the drop problem
He had a lot of drops early but the past couple of games he's made some really impressive hand catches
why would he give a notorious chiefs hater the platform to interveiw
