Okay so i've calmed down and can finaly make a decent comment (also a lenghty one because dayumn why not) The first few notes are already enough to draw me in. That low register is really beautiful. Surely, this is her forte -powerful and soulful ballads And then before the song ends, she belts out one high note after high note. Look at that superhuman lung power. Those high notes are higher than my hopes and dreams lmao And other than her vocal prowess, this girl also knows how to interpret songs! She knows how to adjust her voice's power according to the lyrics. Some parts strong like an iron fortress and some parts vulnerable I am definitely moved ㅠㅠ Once again she proves that she is the G.O.A.T and she will always be my favorite ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
Let's tell that to UWE... Cause that register and vocal prowess is getting wasted... They have to show that to everyone through comeback.... What happen to her channel? Kriesha Chu slayed it! :-) She has improved a lot with her vocal technique & control even when reaching those high notes. Her rendition of the song is evocative/moving as what the lyrics convey.
When Naomi Scott sings this, she goes beyond her vocal range for the high notes and the pitch correction software corrects it. Kreisha Chu knows what her vocal range is and doesn't try to hit those out of reach high notes. This makes this cover better than the original.
I guess she has been practicing to belt better. I hope she would also enhance her whistle tone. That is definitely an edge. I am always a fan of chu chu chu, 크리샤 츄 입니다 ♥♥♥
