My cousin sent me this the night before he passed away. He was the biggest Louie Vega fan. He’d been following you since your High Energy days. He was the one that showed me who Louie Vega was when I was a teen. And it’s all led up to this mix. His final farewell shared mix with me. 😢 one love!

A true musical genius. I remember Mr. Vega from Sound Factory Bar as well as his incredible jams via WBLS in NYC. Most importantly, when I used to frequent Dance Tracks in the East Village, I recall seeing Mr. Vega come over to pick his stash of vinyl recordiings. Mucho blessings and keep on enlightening the global masses with your endless creativity and absolute brilliance.
