I always know Bergamote 22 makes it in a summer list and I would recommend another good one with a nice salty woody depth and a great sillage/longevity "40 Knots by Xerjoff"
Gucci's 1921 sounds wonderful to me - very good mix. 👍👊 Trajan seems very good as well - nothing better than naming a fragrance after one of the best Roman emperors.
Agreed! And another Roman emperor in the bonus round: Eau d’Hadrian by Goutal Paris. Nothing more delightful than the aroma of trellised lemons baking in the sun in southern Italy.

I've just watched your "best fragrances for humid hot weather" which you've uploaded last year and I wondered if you could do somewhat the opposite? Hot weather that's not humid or tropical at all. The climate in greece, italy or even egypt etc. tends to be so much different to the heat waves with 30-45°C we are currently facing in northern Europe like Germany, the netherlands or france. Would be excited to hear your opinion on that.
Don't know how AdP Colonia compares to Colonia Pura. I have Pura, got a sample and was sold at first sniff. In this hot weather: sit in front of a fan, spray it on the arms, extend arms towards the fan. Enjoy.

I find Tygar impossible to find in the US... A sample I tried this spring was Bergamask from Otro Parisi, which I think you spoke about last year. It is amazing and a bottle is on the way for my Birthday!
You have to try Atelier Materi Poivre Pomelo, its soooo good! The pepper reminds me of sichuan but smooth and sweet with no sharp bite combined with grapefruit. My fav for this summer!

Excellent timing for me and this video. I've been looking to scratch a MAJOR citrus itch I'm having and you've provided some great suggestions to try. I've been really enjoying JHAG Anyway (I usually have an issue with too much molecules) and Brocard My Cup of Tea 5 o'clock but need more...lol Thanks a bunch!
@oldies geek The longevity is above average on my skin. Not sure about the projection though. I haven’t received any compliments on it. I do 3 sprays. I can easily smell it for the first 2 to 3 hours, then I get whiffs after that. So it may still be projecting, but not sure how much.
Great list! Recently tried lemon line by mancera. It’s also a good one for summer. I’ve got vetiver & grapefruit by molton brown. A nice scent but not long lasting.

So is it a bad thing to order perfume with temperatures outside in the 80s to 90s? I looked up online and it said that truck trailers can be a lot hotter than outside. Would that ruin the perfume? I know it is just in the transportation, but could it still ruin it?

Bvlgari "Tygar" has been on my list of fragrances to sample, and I hope to try some of the other ones mentioned in this video.
