  • For many reasons, people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs) may engage in behaviours that are seen as challenging by their families and teams. In this training, Nate Sheets will help participants understand how FASD and other factors impact so-called "challenging behaviours". The training will demonstrate how caregiver responses to behaviours can help or hinder each situation and participants will leave with strategies they can begin to use right away.
Nate Sheets is a behaviour consultant and parent coach with over 12 years of experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. He specializes in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs), trauma, and cognitive skills. Nate's brain-based approach is unique and allows for us to value a person's brain regardless of who they are. He helps parents and professionals understand the complex demands of everyday situations, allowing us to problem-solve alternative support strategies.
