But we hear the great Adam Jones, on point with all that power. The Grudge may be the best rock song I have ever heard. Thanks to MJK and the guys. Uplifting our lives.
Honestly i feel so lucky to be able to hear these guys at there age play at this level especially danny as a drummer myself i cant even imagine being able to get this song done at over 50 i love you guys man complete legends
I'm guilty of it too. But I think bands should just release good concert videos and we just leave the phones down, it really kills the vibe when everyone trying to be still to capture a video at a rock concert that almost no one is going to upload or ever look at again.
It’s kind of a double edged sword for me because although you won’t catch me recording anything from last night.. I’m glad I can come on RUclips and check out/reminisce on some of this epic f’n concert!!
Pretty unbelievable these guys can sound this good at their age. Maynard especially to be pumping out prog rock vocals at his age with so much energy again is nuts
@@TOOLislove This was my first time ever seeing them in person. Been trying to get to them for 30 years. It was amazing. I am not ashamed to admit I had to sit down and have a little cry. LOL, I took my 14-year-old Daughter with me, and just the thought of me seeing them at 14 which would have been 94 was a lot to take in. It was beautiful.
@@Darkworldinc1313 That's really great man. I'm happy you got the share that moment with her. Very cool. I was there as well and this was an exceptional show even for Tool. Was especially happy to hear Pushit and The Patient. What a night.
@@Darkworldinc1313🥲 I love that so much! When I have kids, I'm bringing them to all the shows I go to so they can fall in love at an early age 😌 it's definitely overwhelming at any Tool show, I can't imagine how it was at their peak 😭 unfortunately I was born in '88 so too young for the early 90s shows but I made up for it in my early 20s lol I've seen so many bands in the last 15 yrs, I'm always broke!
Hell FuCKING YA! can't wait to see them at Power Trip here in So Cal!... life is worth living when you are at a Tool show.. it's not just a concert it's a life altering experince.. 109x this will be for me. since early 90s till the day I die or they die lol
Last 3 times I have seen maynard live he has sounded fkn incredible front around 2010 till like 16 he wasn't that great don't know what he is doing different taking care of his voice now but 3 puscifer shows last yr he sounded back to 2000 form
Too Fuckin hot in Texas. They usually stop around here January or February. MJK said it on Steve o podcast it was gonna be like 50 dates in the tour It’s only half. Dude cmon they’re not stopping in LA?? That’s a big breadwinner there. Of course they’re gonna stop by Texas. If puscifer and APC do. Why wouldn’t tool
Ugh. Why not film the drumsolo at the end and instead focus on Maynard Mortal Combat dance? We have all seen that. There isn’t nearly enough Danny shots here.
Kinda glad i skipped this one since I wouldn't have been able to see anything anyway. They just pull a nicer version of what Limp Bizkit did... but its okay because they always do it?
What’s limp biscuit up to? I notice they’ve been trending on social media. Personally I always hated them. Hate Fred whiny voice. It’s like nails on chalk board
@Username-ng8jy they were just kinda dicks. Durst wouldn't play until they shut off the projectors, encouraged the crowd of 100k people to "come up front" if they want to see them. Which inevitably lead to a dangerous pit for everyone in it (me being one). Not very cool of him. I guess fuck all the people who physically can't come up front, they don't deserve to watch him. They spent like 20 minutes of their set time whining like little children.
I was there rocking it, Tool was Epic as usual!! I’m glad someone else recorded it, because I was living in the moment for all of this.
Adam, Danny, MJK and Justin killing it like some badass bosses 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
But we hear the great Adam Jones, on point with all that power. The Grudge may be the best rock song I have ever heard. Thanks to MJK and the guys. Uplifting our lives.
Totally agree. It’s the song that got me into Tool. Always special
Not only "The Grudge "...the whole "Lateralus " album is a masterpiece. Just listen to the spiral reorder of the album.god damn...
The Grudge is MAGNIFICENT 🔥🔥🤘🤘
Maynard’s voice sounds legit awesome here. Fuck yeah, man!
Saw them play this during Lateralus tour in Sydney . Always thought this is one of their best works . Glad it’s in their set again
Me too dude! Was a great gig.
So many people having their mind blown for the first time :). I love it.
Thank you for recording this. You took one for the team. Appreciate ya doing this!

I’m so upset that I didn’t get to see them, my god they are an incredible f**king band🤘

You’re there looking at other peoples phones? Wtf. I could care less I’m watching the stage not the phones.
People would… if they did release concert footage… which tool hasn’t done once in their entire 30 years of performing 🤦♂️
God Justin’s tone is so godly, his wal holds many powers
Still can’t believe they opened with this after not opening with it for quite some time. Was blown away
Wow! They are awesome! 🎉🎉🎉
Pretty unbelievable these guys can sound this good at their age. Maynard especially to be pumping out prog rock vocals at his age with so much energy again is nuts
I was there too. Great show.
Seeing them at Aftershock in 2 wks! I can hardly stand ittttttt

Sooo great 👍 Tool totally crushed it!!!!
They still got it! That was badass. 🤘🤘
MJK was very animated, and fun to watch.
Danny’s kit sounds so crisp!

Goddamn they’re sounding top notch.
I can mark this off my bucket list,I was there! It was amazing to hear them live,I teared up a little. Godsmack was damm good too.
I was there!!!!!
Fuck, maynard sounds so good
Not a phone in sight ❤
Awesome
Maynard still sounds fkn amazing going to the apc puscifer birthday show in Georgia in April
Holy shit, the band in general sounds amazing, but Maynard hasn't sound that good in years... I love it, wish I was there 😢

They just listed their new tour and Jan 31 they're in Austin and Feb 2nd they're in Dallas, no Houston show
danny carey...my my goodness...
How the fuck are you not gonna record Danny Carey’s breakdown at 7:45 dude 😑
You must really hate Adam.
He dissent do a whole lot besides standing there anyway. I’d consider Him rocks most boring guitar player. He no Eddy Van Halen by any means. 😂
@@captainbufoalvarius4508He’s subtle not boring. He’s not animated and running around.
because he has to count. straight from his mouth during soundcheck.@@captainbufoalvarius4508
He's basically a statue on stage anyway lmao
Dude didn’t record the breakdown at 7:45 when Danny goes nuts on the kit 😑
