It was very helpful to watch Bill working with and training another handler in this video. To see when and how corrections and praise should be given was a definite help! Thanks very much!!
Ditto Michael--Would love to see more of this type of video. Advanced dog showing the drill then Bill coaching another handler with their dog. Thank you so much!
@@hawkeyemedianet Can you do a video to assist me with something i havent heard much about? Our 8 month old choc lab went to a pro trainer at 7 months old for Obedience, and basic gun dog training. We will be visiting him this weekend to see how he is coming along. After he completes his training is where my question comes in...how to transition him from the kennel and training session life back to a home and less structured training because we wont be able to do 3 training sessions a day at a facility. I don't want to introduce bad habits, laziness, or loose the training he received. Would love to hear your thoughts on this process because I'm not hearing it talked about that much. Thanks!
@@rbljackson The one who can answer your questions the best is the trainer who has the dog. He knows the dog, what his training level is and what your expectations are and the best way to communicate how you can continue his training, and the transition to your home.
It is similar to what they do for Hunt test. The handler is given a number when they it is their turn to release the dog. Each dog that is running is numbered so it is easier for judges to judge and give permission to handler.
Bill/Mary, The overhead drone view was really helpful with rainbow's marks. Very nice touch!
