For the record, I think this incredibly talented/intelligent/insightful/empathetic actress looks as beautiful as ever -- if not more beautiful than ever.
A very lucid lady. She is so candid and plain-spoken, it's refreshing. Thank you Mr. Poland for giving her room to breathe. It so often seems that in interviews unless an actress is constantly trying to be clever or irreverent (i.e. entertain the host) she is never allowed the time to unfold her answers and unpack her thoughts the way men are. Not only is she thoughtful, I believe she possesses enormous gravitas. This is one of those conversations I would gladly have listened to for an hour or more. Such a pleasure...
"that was fun" yes, indeed!. great, great interview. you create such a pleasant environment, that an interesting and fascinating conversation always flourish of it. thank you.
It's more about this evil industry who give mostly jobs to young women. So some use this ugly surgery to stay artificially young. It's a dictatorship, a violence towards women.
A pragmatical quote from 63-year-old actress Sigourney Weaver who is against plastic surgery: “Actors’ faces have to move,” she said, “I do think life should put lines on your face, or you’re not getting out enough.” And from 52 year-old Julianne Moore: - “Cosmetic surgery itself starts to look normal, and we lose track of what a real face is like" said the Crazy, Stupid, Love star. “I don’t know that they really made anybody look younger. I think most of the time they made you look like you’ve had something done to your face”. It's simple as that.
Edward Hitten Hate to burst your be bless but Nicole has never had plastic surgery. Botox at one time, she quit that, look at the wrinkles in her forehead. We ALL age, get used to it.
Edward Hitten and that's bad because? It's HER body... I don't see anything wrong with her, it's OK if you don't like it but you don't need to make ugly remarks about someone you don't know irl. If she decided to do it that's her problem, you're judging her
Her face is full of expression she stopped using botox a long time ago, so her face doesn't look stiff at all, she might have had some fillers but overall it all looks very natural.
Because THAT is the point of this interview, right? Here they are speaking auteurs and philosophy of cinema, and here you are. Suggest you should watch E! :\
Brad M what a shallow person you are. Nicole is beautiful and people like you make this world worse. People putting someone down that they don't even know.
? And what are you doing? Are you not putting Bard down? PLease have some self-insight and accept that others don't see things like you. We can like an actress while beeing critic about her choices, no? Am I an horrible wrong person for saying that? What is worse? Telling what it IS or telling what we like disguising what it is? You have the right to think what you think but when you judge others like this, you don't make the world better.
Fiona Goode She'd be stunning had she not undergo plastic surgery. Great body, great talent. Her insecurity destroyed her face. Why do you take it personal? I'm 30 and don't even dye my hair what the fuck do you want to see?
...so that's supposed to make you "better than her?" I'm sorry, but when you publicly declare that a beautiful woman "destroyed her face," you're inviting criticism of your own aesthetic merits (or lackthereof). Seriously. Take your pristine, 'unadulterated' hair to a fuckin' Hollywood casting call and see how triumphantly you ascend on a basis of beauty or talent. "Face" it -- you're yet another 'internet waste of space' who contributes nothing to the field which you somehow, nonetheless, feel qualified to harshly critique. Dime-uh-dozen, baby. Believe me, it's far "uglier" than you find Nicole Kidman's alleged-proclivity for extensive cosmetic intervention. *Your* ugliness is "destroying" humanity's face.
There is no limit of her beauty
For the record, I think this incredibly talented/intelligent/insightful/empathetic actress looks as beautiful as ever -- if not more beautiful than ever.
Fiona Goode I agree with you. Jealous women come out of the woodwork when it comes to Nicole Kidman.

Eyes Wide Shut is one of my all time favs... Brilliant!
so glad they brought up eyes wide shut and Kubrick
I cant' get enough of this multi-expressive face! She is amazing!
OMG this interview is everything!
beautiful woman and divine actress!!
Amazing interview. She is stunning!!!
"that was fun" yes, indeed!. great, great interview. you create such a pleasant environment, that an interesting and fascinating conversation always flourish of it. thank you.
A great artist who is able to articulate the actual art of it. Love her passion and hunger for it .
Spectacularly insightful - what a gloriously wonderful woman Nicole is! So jealous - I would die to have a conversation with her one day!
I think she's gorgeous and down to earth
please do an interview with Elle Fanning, maybe about last movie 20th Century Women. It would be awesome
Why are people jealous of this beautiful glorious lady. Is it Scientologists commenting, you know she is considered a suppressed person by that cult.
Who cares what she's had done. Too talented.
It's more about this evil industry who give mostly jobs to young women. So some use this ugly surgery to stay artificially young. It's a dictatorship, a violence towards women.
Yes I’d agree Nicole is very gorgeous also very talented extremely good actress
Beautiful Nicole. She is suppose to be one of the sweet, kind and loving person.
Nicole Kidman looks very young and Nicole is a very good actress funny too love her personality

Yorgos is like Lars and Stanley! :D

Nicole Kidman has never had plastic surgery, just botox and that was long time ago and let me tell you Julianne Moore had botox too :)
The main point is: volontary intervention to look younger.
Egg Hold "We ALL age, get used to it." ... exactly what I'm saying. Read me well.

What a woman!
Does anyone know who the 'Mike' director they were talking about is around 24:00?
My guess, it was Mike Leigh.
welcom
Oh my, she's had some work done.
she was beautiful my god
Yeah such a wonderful and insightful conversation and that's all you can take away from it
I can say many things. What I can say and what I choose to say are separate matters.
too much work done on the face its ashame bcause she doesn't have to do that she is naturally beautiful anyway...why make your face look stiff!!
Her face is full of expression she stopped using botox a long time ago, so her face doesn't look stiff at all, she might have had some fillers but overall it all looks very natural.
I wish she wouldn't have changed her mouth. I don't know what exactly she did, injections or surgery but she doesn't look the same.
Is she still wearing her Stepford Wives make-up?
Please talk

You, Edward Hitten, are a parasite. And yes, you are a horrible person.
...
Great actress, but her face is destroyed now. Unbelievable.
for a 50 year old, she's fucking STUNNING.
if she were 20 years old, she'd still be fucking STUNNING.
let's see you, shall we?
Yeah, whatever mind-altering drugs you take, I definitely want some.
There's a Generic that may fit your income level; it's called "Human Decency."
