Are We Alone

There seem to be a lot of unanswered questions in our universe, which means are we alone in this universe? I don't think there are so many galaxies and so many planets out there that it's just an impossible task to find out if there is possible life on other planets. But the question remains how do we know and how are we going to get there? Is there going to come a time when everything that we have learned over the past let's say 50 years it's going to be turned out to be wrong and there's going to be some type of a shift in quantum physics that's going to allow us to travel from one location to the other with a blink of an eye? If there are civilizations out there in the universe that is a billion years advanced more than we are Can you imagine for one second how powerful they are?
