Who says they shouldn't feel bad for the villains? Maybe because they're learning their stories, they can use this to try and help other people from becoming villains. To FIX what is wrong with society that makes many people villains. Of course, there are villains that become villains just for fun, because they enjoy it. And while the LOV do enjoy it as well, we have to understand that at least most of them are villains because something happened in their lives that set them on the path to villainy, with no heroes there to save them. It's like a never-ending cycle of misery, and if they don't learn and try and fix it, the cycle will just continue, and if the heroes don't change and the war is won, what's stopping society from making more villains and a whole NEW war? If the students and heroes learned, then they can use that to help people more, to save them from THEMSELVES.
