WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!! Super-Fantabulous views of London!! When I went there in 1998, I saw nothing like that at all. I got short-changed! This was when the Heathrow Express train first began running, the very first week, and took it to Paddington. Wow. That train went 100mph! The train got me there in 20 minutes. The bus would've taken an hour. Great view of the Millennial Dome there! It makes me think of the big boat chase in the James Bond movie, The World Is Not Enough, where he's chasing the Cigar Girl who turned out to be a ruthless killer. This movie was significant for a number of reasons. 1) It was directed by Michael Apted, who was an unlikely choice for doing this kind of film. 2) We see that Bond is in way over his head, is unsure of himself or what he's doing and why. 3) The chief Bond Woman was also the Mastermind Villain. They were one in the same. She fooled him completely as well as fooled M. And that was a GREAT boat chase sequence in the beginning. And how often do we get to see 007 fall onto the rooftop of the Millennial Dome. Jeez, no wonder his shoulder got injured! I did a 3-week tour of Britain back in the fall of 1998. What I didn't know then, but learned later on, was that was the beginning of the worst and coldest winter in UK history for the past few centuries. This makes sense because of the big La Nina that was going on back then. When I was in Edinburgh, the manager of the BnB I stayed at said that the weather was going haywire, very dark and cold for early October. And she was right. That was the La Nina winter in effect back then. This was when we had the wettest 90 day period ever recorded here in WA State and when Mt. Baker and Mt. Hood had record levels of snow. We also had a cold summer in 1999, also courtesy of the La Nina. Anyhow, another fine, Super-Amazing video on your part. Treebeard was right - a fine hit.
Fantastic! Loved the wide 360 degree lap at maybe 10-12,00 feet ( you flew alongside a small airport twice). Amazing how they keep that massive, busy airport running day after day with one arrival and one departure runway -----and many times with weather that is just the opposite of the clear, bright skies your flight had. Very nice video.
I've seen all of those sights from the ground in London in one day. You're right, it was way easier to just fly this approach instead 😂. Thanks for stopping by my friend. Hope you're doing well!
@@sla31 All good, and getting re-kitted and ending my four year break from Filming later this year, that aviation bug, can rest it for a while but not totally quit it!
Great fly! Have you heard Boeing was forced to borrow tens of billions $ amid the ongoing strike and scrutiny of safety due to two MAX aircraft crashes and door blowout on Alaska Airlines flight? And facing credit ratings to "junk"? What do you think?
6:38 rollercoaster! very nice video quality :D

I was there a week ago! It was amazing but cold!
Hey me too haha. Well a little over a week ago now. I was there on the 7th.
Got a little too close to the heavy in front. I live 50 miles from London, I've never seen it look that beautiful. 😂
Including Catford Milford Towers Harrow Piccadilly

Well again, they've kind of brought this all on themselves at this point. So, I don't know what more there is to say haha.
@@sla31 Yeah that's why I feel Airbus is better than Boeing.
first 🥇❤
Thanks for watching my friend!
Typical London aproach. Never ending loops over Twickenham. You got lucky to arrive on a calm day. They have a lot of storms in February.......
