This should've been the Title theme for the 1st NES Turtles game.
The Manhattan Project, Turtles in Time (Super NES) and Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis) had the same title theme intact as does vol. 3 of the original animated series which is "The Shredder is Splintered" (Family Home Entertainment)
The original logo was retained on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Vol. 3 - The Shredder is Splintered (Family Home Entertainment) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (RCA/Columbia Pictures Home Video)

Here in Finland the 80s show and figurines were "TMHT" but then,
the 2002 remake went with original name TMNT. Weird 💁
Not only that. They changed Mikey's Weapons from Nunchucks to a Grappling Hook because they COULD be dangerous for kids. But hey, a Katana, Sai Daggers and a big Bo Staff aren't dangerous at all :D

dude TMNT was actually popular in Japan, it got a spin-off called TMNT Gaiden.
