Hello matey, yes I’m hoping to get my name pulled out of the hat, to be able to test one out. The demo units are rarer than sightings of an MP telling the truth 🤔🥴 But let’s see what happens when there’s a bit more news about the scopes at the end of this year 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Onwards and upwards. DNT never stand still, do they. They have made some great products in only a year. The newer thermal scopes will be a game changer, once again.
I support that DNT, very well studied the needs of hunters, I have a Zulus 5-20 lrf and am very happy, this is exactly what 5 years ago, could only be dreamed of in a dream. Customer service, in their store is at a high level.🔥👍🇺🇦
Met andrew the other evening at the Qptic Warehouse night vision evening and had a look through these 2 scopes and was highly impessed by them especially the 635. I expect when released they will fly out the door
I’m always looking for comments from someone that has seen a product for themselves, and have made their own recommendations. I think you’re right about the “ flying out the door bit” these scopes tick all the boxes for a lot of people. Day/Night and Thermal - and it’s got its own IR light AND a LRF too. What else do you want ? Well a DNT flask would be nice 👍🤣👏👏
I think they are both going to shake things up in the world of hunting, and the usual suspects will need to watch out now, There’s a new kid in town, who’s gonna steal more than they know
@jimwood We had a very interesting 4 1/2 hours together this morning and, there’s a lot of new stuff coming out but it’s still firmly locked up for now, I did get some snippets from the folks here, but I’m not permitted to post anything on here YET !
I held off buying the 225 due to the low res of the thermal as I already have a good thermal spotter and high res thermal scope. I will be looking forward to buying the 635 when it comes out
@@predatorprotectionuk and for those that do not possess thermal and/or night vision gear it is a relatively cheap entry level bit of kit. you have to admire DNT, but we need the pricing structure for the new units releasing asap and the availability dates
What DNT is doing with thermals is awesome!! Can we get a base 3x magnification for us open country coyote hunters in the western United States? There sure are a lot of us, it's a huge market. Just food for thought.
Hello matey, well I’ve got the UK based DNT man with me this weekend so I’ll be sure to ask him to ask the tech team. Have a great Christmas, and thanks for watching
Thanks for doing this! I’m glad I waited. I may still wind up with the improved 225R if the 335 is out of my price range. Hopefully these will be available soon in the states. Thanks again!
The price is the key here , I was just talking on the phone to a subscriber about this, and I gave him the two numbers I thought of . It’ll be interesting to see how far away I am 🤔 And I’m only guessing because even the DNT team didn’t know 🤷🏼♂️
@stephenoshea1166 That’s the best comment made, I hope they don’t. It was great to have the team visit here, and it wasn’t a 10 minute pop in either. They arrived at 10:50 and left at 15:45 ! A proper sit down and discussion about what’s happening and the future. Positive vibes indeed
@@davidbraswell1481 I should think with most stores, there would be a 14 day period to return if you pay postage etc, I'd recommend asking them and don't open it!!
Hi Dean, we spoke about you and your love for the Zulus today, I think if we meet up at the NEC , I’ll introduce you to the team, I think you’d be the perfect field tester mate to be honest, the amount of time you spend on squirrels and rats is just what’s needed to properly test something out. I’ll be there on Saturday, don’t forget your passport, to get over that river 🫵🤣🤣
In which video are you talking about updates for the 225? Like firmware? Or did you mean the higher resolution higher tier thermnight scopes in this video?l@@predatorprotectionuk
@@predatorprotectionukMy father, who was an auto mechanic, told me never to buy the first model year of a car. There are always “bugs” to work out. That advice holds true for this kind of stuff, too! 😉
Yes indeed it was a great shame we didn’t have time to put together some footage in the field, as like any good scope, it would have sold itself. I think they’re rewriting the rules now for night/thermal imaging and the usual names are going to be playing catch up now 🫵 You know who you are 🤐
Yes sir! I like the look of that. Dnt have got the right ideas! I like the curved screen edges too which may of been borrowed from Hik, but no matter, it's nicer to look through! 👍👍👌
Hi Stephen, It’s very amusing to watch all the videos about the new Nocpix thermal, but then look at the new Stellar footage. It’s exactly the same, they’re all at it, all using the same formats and hardware
@predatorprotectionuk True, all that matters to us is great products being released and prices getting more competitive hopefully. The Zulus was a big hit, and I think these will be too!
@@predatorprotectionuk This is true, furthest fox shot for me was with the Zulus and at 270m. It was with the help of an extra ir but it's so small, adding an IR, it still comes in light and handy.
@stevo1166 Yes it does Steve, my only problem is being left handed, having a torch on the side does inhibit my access to the focus on the thermal lens, but to be fair, the initial setting up of the scope will set that up to be right.
DNT ballistic calculator from Arken is by far the best in the industry . it is complete and effective for mapping your trajectory very precisely .. I own 2 Pard SA 32 x 45 thermals and their Ballistic calculator is a joke in comparison they don't even take into consideration , Bullet diameter, twist rate , bullet length just to get started ... Ah !! Well now that’s a good question. I spotted that it had the same mount on as my older Zulus , but different to that on the THERMNIGHT I have on loan. Picatinny mount, but only two fixing screws and not three. I think that’s something they’re planning to swap over for a quick release version.
Well they look interesting can’t wait to see what they look like in the field and what sort of price bracket they are shooting shows just before me birthday so could be in the market 👍 need something to put it on but hayho 🙄

Not giving even a rough idea on expected prices is a very bad move impo I want a new scope and have a ceiling on my budget so I'll be buggered if I'm going to wait 3 months to find out they are too expensive for my budget!
I know you did Jake , but it’s like everything else, until you see it for yourself, 🤷🏼♂️ well what can I say ? If there’s a night vision show nearby between now and December 4. Go there, the DNT folks could be there 🫵👍
Is the new 335 diopter glass/lens as sensitive to proper eye/head alignment as it is on the 225? I am really struggling to get my eye in proper alignment, to the extent that the edges of the screen (clock, logo, etc) are blurry or distorted. I have proper distance, and the viewfinder is full, but coming off the centerline by even a degree, and the edges are unusable. I've not experienced this is any other scope (and I have perfect uncorrected vision). I've sent an email to DNT for clarification, as I'm concerned maybe mine has a defect. If I have perfect centerline alignment, the image is crystal clear and full, edge-to-edge. But anything short of centered is really disapointing.
@@predatorprotectionuk bought it from dntoptics online. Im corresponding with Matthew from dntoptics now. I was just wondering if others have seen the same issue. I suppose there could be something off with mine.
@@predatorprotectionuk I think I figured out why the scope seems so inferior to the Thor... It's the eye-relief.
