As a parent of a 6yr old, I am SO annoyed by RUclips. I have never associated the platform as a kids app, and my kid won’t even use the kids version of it. I want more content creators like yourself to be supported and they need to stop demonetizing you guys!

Kristen, I think you misunderstood. I absolutely LOVE her work and never miss a video. She’s incredibly talented. I just wish RUclips would stop messing with great youtubers like her. She should absolutely be earning a living from these videos, so much work goes into them.

No you're not the only one. 😠😠😠. What RUclips is doing to doll creators is SO wrong. It's RUclips's fault they were fined yet it seems, in my opinion, creators are being made to suffer the consequences for a longer period of time. RUclips will pay the fine but the creators get demonitized if their channel appears to be a 'kids channel' because they work with dolls. 😠. They didn't do anything wrong! 😠😠
I don't understand why content/creators that make kids-oriented content are being demonetized in general, let alone that youtube is deciding what's kid content and what isn't. Why should people who make content for kids not get paid for it? It's all garbage. RUclips has been slowly cracking down on different types of content creators for a while now, it's time for the creators to ban together and create or move to a different platform that isn't so invasive.

The first time I watched this video I almost cried. I was so impressed with the other zodiac dolls and so excited to see my sign and then she was just a weight joke.

I'm in agreement with many of the comments. I love you and your work and 100% support your efforts to stay off RUclips kids!! At the same time I'm disappointed in this doll... she's adorable and I love the POC representation, but I really don't see Libra here. We Libras are the symbol of balance, justice, and (according to Facebook astrology memes) being hopeless romantics. After the GORGEOUS gothic Lolita Gemini among other incredible zodiac designs, this one felt less loved to me...
Cute doll! ✨ As a Libra myself, I was kind of hoping for something that highlighted our peace keeping nature. Maybe something that reflected balance like yoga or chakras or crystals. Or a peace loving flower child type doll. I am not sporty at all 😂 Libras are lovers of balance and beauty and peace.

Not a Libra, but I think I'm speaking for a lot of the ones here when I say, "Please. Redo. This doll." You gave all the other zodiac designs a nice, powerful, and magical look while you made Libra a joke! Give the Libras what they deserve, please and thank you. I'd say make a separate and equally powerful doll to the other Zodiacs for Libra. And if you're interested in maybe righting this wrong. Even if you decide to change this from the Libra doll to just a doll, this one is still toxic to young self-conscious people. An idea to fix this one, give her a happy surprised face to show she's proud of the strides she made for towards her goal. Instead of popcorn give her a yoga mat and change that red "Error" to a green "Goal!" I also suggest doing this in a video with the title, "Redoing this doll to represent becoming your best self." While also stating that your best self doesn't exactly have to be skinny and athletic. Just an idea, but knowing most youtubers you'll just make an apology video and not actually fix anything. :) [To people who I know will sit there and say this is okay and I'm overreacting. Try being told by every doctor you're morbidly obese since the day you turned 12 because you're too heavy for your height. I've starved myself over this. This doll isn't cute. It's not funny. It's not quirky. For me and a lot of other people its a downright insult]
The repaint is nice, but I didn't like the change of scale. The original one feels more like a representation of balance, whereas this just seemed a bit more weight-related.
Well it is true that the scale of libra and this one are not the same, and I'm not a libra so I don't know a lot about the sign. In my point of view, the people of Libra that I had known before had always have a mix between image and spirituality and I think that the route that they always take to find a balance in them it's a strong beautiful attribute. I know it doesn't have to do with the thing, she was playing with the concept of a scale...but for me it was a funny and sweet way of showing a little bit of what I had seen before...like... the doll had this popcorn that she seems to love and at the same time she's using the scale, she has to find a balance in both...this all shown in a comical and cute way (I actually thing that the fact that libra can find a balance between this things about your material live and the soul always make me feel amazed)... I'm sorry for the long letter...it sure is tedious...and I'm sorry if there's bad inglish, it's not my mother tongue...

I think she's cute but I really think a judge or a lawyer would have been better because Libra carries "the scales of balance and justice". This one just feels way to close to weight control.
The end result is a beautiful doll, but as Libra, I feel she doesn't represent me, I was expecting something completely different, even more elegant and delicate than something fun and complexed. I say this with all due respect.

As a libra I am not happy. Yes, she is cute. But this is not the way the libra scales are. The true Libra scales are for justice, right and wrong, good and evil. It means balance. As a libra that is over weight, I am kinda insulted that you made this weight related.

As a libra my self i think this doll needs to be re done or at least her accessories. Is libras aren't really all over scales for our weight. As a libra you weigh the odds of different situations, we compare alot. Its not really us checking our weight. We are the odd weighing people not the weight weighing people. Im kinda disappointed in her accessories

I feel that this was a sort of misguided choice as weight is quite triggering for a lot of people. She could have based it on typical Libra’s swinging between two extremes or similar. Anyhoo I’m not here to hate, I love this channel, I just wanted to join in this chat because I agree.

yes i agree, i was extremely disappointed in this repaint. i think its a little vain and not a very good message to have her standing on a scale, focusing on her looks. it shouldn't be an important defining characteristic of a libra to be worried about their own physical weight... as libras we focus on the balance of those around us, we pick up on signs and signals and are able to resolve conflicts because we can see both sides of situations. we are mediators. so, poppen, this doll completely missed the mark for me. it would have been better to see her as a powerful bussiness woman or lawyer, could have made for a more inspiring storyline.
The Libra sign is based off of Themis. Themis was the personification of divine or natural law, order, and justice. Her name literally means justice. She was also credited with wisdom, foresight, and prophecy. Themis was always depicted with a sword and scales to judge and give out justice. She is who Lady Justice is based off of. You took a sign that has a lot of potential for being really badass and then you made the doll you made. I understand and appreciate all of the technical skill and time you put into this but I think you dropped the ball on this one. It feels like you took the first idea that came to you and executed it without thinking it through. I love the hair color though.

Kamila i mean yeah, but youtube completely demonetising and essentially cutting off people’s livelihoods just because they work with dolls is nonsense. she even said that her audience statistically is over 18. also if one wants to get better results with customising, one would eventually have to move on to the more dangerous things. however, it’s of course not set in stone.
I feel like this one missed the mark for Libra, it’s a beautiful doll, but libra is blind balance and justice would have love to seen a modern twist on the old form, lawyer, judge, or even pin up style of lady justice would have been awesome. As an overweight Libra with an eating disorder, this isn’t really how I’d want my sign represented :| I can’t explain why very well and I’m not like, outraged or anything, just kinda hurt that the doll for my sign is sort of a joke on my deepest insecurities. Libra too, struggling with my weight. I didn't see our amazing sign at all here! It could have been I don't know, someting related to balance, like a circus artist or a juge like said before, or just lifting weights and being strong instead of insecure... I was really disappointed, and it made me feel bad about myself.
I REALLY REALLY wanted to like this doll as a Libra myself but i'm sorry, is just- No, no, NO. One of my non doll friends is a Libra and was very upset that the scale said Error with such a thin doll. She had an eating disorder when we were kids and this felt like it was making fun of people like her. Sure, the doll is pretty, but the accessories were poorly chosen.
Not censoring it, just letting her know how a Libra feels about it, she specifically asked how they feel so i showed my friend it before I’d even watched it myself and that was HER reaction, which is valid. You don’t get to tell others how they feel.
It is an opinion and I am allowed to have it as well as voice it. I believe, if my astrology and mythological knowledge are accurate, that Libra is the scales of justice, so why not have made her a lawyer or a judge? Instead of a character dealing with weight.

I think the doll is very pretty but does not represent a Libra. Adding a weight scale just don’t do it for me. I am a libra. Birthday is Sunday. But as a libra. I really don’t think it’s a good representation of the sign

I completely agree :/ I’ve been waiting all year for the Libra doll and every month I get so excited seeing the beautiful and on point dolls for the other zodiacs... and now it was my zodiacs turn... and I finished the video feeling bummed... i had to get rid of my scales cause they were making me depressed whenever I didn’t make progress and this is not what Libra’s represent... I was expecting more. The doll is cute sure, but it doesn’t feel Libra 😣
I love her! It's funny being a libra, the only inanimate object of the zodiacs. I remember we used to play pretend in preschool, when each of us pretended they were their zodiac sign, so I would just stand still with my hands to the sides 😄 I admit, I was sort of trolling.

I am 23 and I wanted to get into doll customization myself, but after researching the materials, I decided to wait until I had the appropriate space, ventilation, and safety equipment. It's dangerous and expensive and definitely not meant for children. There is a reason we only see adults do customizing. Keep up the amazing work and keep fighting for your platform!!

so, libra here. I just want to start this comment by saying that i love you, i think youre wonderful. Your art is so clever but the concept of this doll kind of upset me. shes beautiful as always and its awesome that you did a person of colour. so, personally I have some health issue which actually mean that I cant really exercise effectively (urgh pain right!! its called exercise intollerance, i pass out really easily. So weird right!) but combined with a body weight weighing scale this concept became a little bit triggering for me. I have suffered with eating disorders and body confidence issues since I was a teenager to the point that now, as a grown adult, I dont step on a scale apart from for my health check for work. I can become obsessive about what i can eat and what I cant. Even (almost weightless) popcorn has been off limits to me before. I know that you werent trying to trigger anyone with a doll that has reference to weight but I know that Im not the only person that can find things like the triggering. The scales in Libra are supposed to represent the scales of justice (so not really physical weight) or balance and harmony. I really wish you had gone this route rather than physical weight. I just kind of found it saddening. I still love and support you, your art and your channel though

I wish that the scales of justice were included. Libras (like myself) not only like to weight things out (figuratively) but we also like harmony and justice. A weight scale is.. eh. Also, the sporty girl concept doesn't seem (to me) to fit a libra. We're more of a fair, romantic, charming, and creative sign. That's just my opinion of course. Haha I just think the design isn't good for Libra.

This idea behind the doll makes me really sad. There's so many other ideas you could have had but instead you decide the make a doll that struggles with her weight? Sorry but I don't find that cute at all. Body image is a big problem with a lot of people and as a libra who has had anorexia this doll is upsetting. You could've made her a lawyer with the traditional law scales. Or anything else really.

Honestly, being a Libra, this is the one I was looking forward to, and it was so painful for me that I just skipped to the end to see what it looked like. I'm so disappointed. I feel like dolls give the impression of unrealistic ideals as it is... So to go and make it an "athletic" doll who struggles with her weight, as she is plastic and perfect, more than any human being. I enjoy the artistry of these transformations but this one was just distasteful, especially in this day in age.

Libra is a very very interesting sign. I actually did a drawing based on the sign. It's got a lot of interesting connections to it. It's obviously very much similar to the Justice Tarot, which is a karma card. It's an air sign so a very logical one. It's ruled by Venus and is represented by light or even the rainbow. It's also got some connections with Lucifer the Light bringer who is an angel but also known as the devil, with connections to Venus. This is fitting since Libra will look at both sides of an arguement before making decisions, giving this almost devil angel balancing scale. They are the judges. It also reminds me of the Egyptian God Anubis who uses weighing scales. Libra is not a boring sign. It is a very very interesting one. Definitely not one I would overlook personally. (btw leo here)
Libras are romantic, have a strong sense of justice, have a BIG trouble with choices, we like to be complemented, kind and again, we can't choose anything quickly. We don't struggle with our image because we love ourselves. I am truly upset with this doll. I waited so long for something that is not a true representation of us. I feel as though (without any disrespect) that it would make sense to have a Libra doing yoga or something relaxing and elegant, as yoga requires a lot of patience and balance much like a Libra has. But libras are also very sensitive people so to have them be represented in this way, despite me not being a Libra, just makes me feel bad for them. My mum has been dealing with weight issues as a Libra and I can’t help but to feel bad for her, and for many others. Hey! So I’m a Libra (birthday is today actually) and I love your channel, I think it’s awesome. But I also happen to really have issues with body image, and I’ve had eating disorders in the past. I know it wasn’t at all intentional, but this doll repaint was really disappointing, since I waited for my birthday to watch it and was really excited all year for “my” doll, and it turned out to bring up some really hard feelings for me. Again, I love your videos, and I know you’ve made an effort in the past to be inclusive of all different kinds of people, so I’m sure this wasn’t purposeful, but I wanted to just let you know, since weight is such a vulnerable area for young women especially, which your audience mainly is, that even something this innocently-intentioned could bring up rough stuff for us.
The doll as always is adorable but I’m a little disappointed in the interpretation. As a Libra the scales represent balance which is a huge theme in my life. Although now that I think about it the there is a balance here between working out and eating too much. Never mind. I’m ok with it lol
As much as I love you Popplin, this isn’t the libra vibe. Libras aren’t sporty by nature, they are usually referred to as the matchmaker. They’re flirters and creatives, usually.

I don’t think RUclips realizes that some people make videos on RUclips for a living....so they can pay rent, take showers, have food, fill their cars and sleep in a bed.....not cool RUclips not cool. Imagine if your livelihood was taken away from you. But I guess that is hard to imagine since you are making all the big bucks while great RUclipsrs are struggling.
I think they can imagine, since the humans that work there are being steadily replaced by cold, uncaring robots.... Don't forget, if they're being that awful to their own people, they won't bat an eye about the concerns of the users of their platform...
As a Libra don't really feel like this doll represents me very well lol. But she's still beautiful as always. Perhaps since Libras are so indecisive you could have made a doll in pajamas looking at a closet full of clothes and having her hand up to her chin like she's deciding, or somehow show the indecisiveness. But as I said before she's still beautiful!

It's RUclips's fault they were fined yet it seems, in my opinion, creators are being made to suffer the consequences for a longer period of time. RUclips will pay the fine but the creators get demonitized if their channel appears to be a 'kids channel' because they work with dolls. 😠. They didn't do anything wrong! 😠😠
I don't understand why content/creators that make kids-oriented content are being demonetized in general, let alone that youtube is deciding what's kid content and what isn't. Not a Libra, but I think I'm speaking for a lot of the ones here when I say, "Please. Redo. This doll." You gave all the other zodiac designs a nice, powerful, and magical look while you made Libra a joke! Give the Libras what they deserve, please and thank you.

And if you're interested in maybe righting this wrong.
Even if you decide to change this from the Libra doll to just a doll, this one is still toxic to young self-conscious people. An idea to fix this one, give her a happy surprised face to show she's proud of the strides she made for towards her goal. Instead of popcorn give her a yoga mat and change that red "Error" to a green "Goal!" I also suggest doing this in a video with the title, "Redoing this doll to represent becoming your best self." While also stating that your best self doesn't exactly have to be skinny and athletic.
Just an idea, but knowing most youtubers you'll just make an apology video and not actually fix anything. :)

The repaint is nice, but I didn't like the change of scale. The original one feels more like a representation of balance, whereas this just seemed a bit more weight-related.

Well it is true that the scale of libra and this one are not the same, and I'm not a libra so I don't know a lot about the sign.
In my point of view, the people of Libra that I had known before had always have a mix between image and spirituality and I think that the route that they always take to find a balance in them it's a strong beautiful attribute.
I know it doesn't have to do with the thing, she was playing with the concept of a scale...but for me it was a funny and sweet way of showing a little bit of what I had seen before...like... the doll had this popcorn that she seems to love and at the same time she's using the scale, she has to find a balance in both...this all shown in a comical and cute way (I actually thing that the fact that libra can find a balance between this things about your material live and the soul always make me feel amazed)...

As a libra my self i think this doll needs to be re done or at least her accessories. Is libras aren't really all over scales for our weight. yes i agree, i was extremely disappointed in this repaint. i think its a little vain and not a very good message to have her standing on a scale, focusing on her looks. it shouldn't be an important defining characteristic of a libra to be worried about their own physical weight... as libras we focus on the balance of those around us, we pick up on signs and signals and are able to resolve conflicts because we can see both sides of situations. we are mediators. so, poppen, this doll completely missed the mark for me. it would have been better to see her as a powerful bussiness woman or lawyer, could have made for a more inspiring storyline.
The Libra sign is based off of Themis.
Themis was the personification of divine or natural law, order, and justice. Her name literally means justice. She was also credited with wisdom, foresight, and prophecy. Themis was always depicted with a sword and scales to judge and give out justice. She is who Lady Justice is based off of. You took a sign that has a lot of potential for being really badass and then you made the doll you made. I understand and appreciate all of the technical skill and time you put into this but I think you dropped the ball on this one. It feels like you took the first idea that came to you and executed it without thinking it through. I love the hair color though.

I feel like this one missed the mark for Libra, it’s a beautiful doll, but libra is blind balance and justice would have love to seen a modern twist on the old form, lawyer, judge, or even pin up style of lady justice would have been awesome. As an overweight Libra with an eating disorder, this isn’t really how I’d want my sign represented :| I can’t explain why very well and I’m not like, outraged or anything, just kinda hurt that the doll for my sign is sort of a joke on my deepest insecurities. The sclae says error specifically so there isnt an "ideal" weight listed. You dont get to censor everyone else for problems a few people have.

so, libra here. I just want to start this comment by saying that i love you, i think youre wonderful. Your art is so clever but the concept of this doll kind of upset me. shes beautiful as always and its awesome that you did a person of colour. so, personally I have some health issue which actually mean that I cant really exercise effectively (urgh pain right!! its called exercise intollerance, i pass out really easily. So weird right!) but combined with a body weight weighing scale this concept became a little bit triggering for me. I have suffered with eating disorders and body confidence issues since I was a teenager to the point that now, as a grown adult, I dont step on a scale apart from for my health check for work. I can become obsessive about what i can eat and what I cant. Even (almost weightless) popcorn has been off limits to me before. I know that you werent trying to trigger anyone with a doll that has reference to weight but I know that Im not the only person that can find things like the triggering. The scales in Libra are supposed to represent the scales of justice (so not really physical weight) or balance and harmony. I really wish you had gone this route rather than physical weight. I just kind of found it saddening. I still love and support you, your art and your channel though

What message is she trying to convey saying that this super skinny doll (That often makes kids question themselves in a toxic manner already) is so heavy its breaking the scale? I wish that the scales of justice were included. Libras (like myself) not only like to weight things out (figuratively) but we also like harmony and justice. A weight scale is.. eh. Also, the sporty girl concept doesn't seem (to me) to fit a libra. We're more of a fair, romantic, charming, and creative sign. That's just my opinion of course. Haha I just think the design isn't good for Libra.
The doll is really beautifull! Love the hairstyle and hair color. As a libra girl I don't really feel her as my sign doll, but I think it is personal preferece (for me Libra associated with hard time making the decision). And again, your work is great!

This idea behind the doll makes me really sad. There's so many other ideas you could have had but instead you decide the make a doll that struggles with her weight? Sorry but I don't find that cute at all. Body image is a big problem with a lot of people and as a libra who has had anorexia this doll is upsetting. You could've made her a lawyer with the traditional law scales. Or anything else really.

Honestly, being a Libra, this is the one I was looking forward to, and it was so painful for me that I just skipped to the end to see what it looked like. I'm so disappointed. I feel like dolls give the impression of unrealistic ideals as it is... So to go and make it an "athletic" doll who struggles with her weight, as she is plastic and perfect, more than any human being. I enjoy the artistry of these transformations but this one was just distasteful, especially in this day in age.

I've struggled with eating issues and have never been comfortable with my weight and the concept you chose for this was genuinely upsetting. I know 'the scales' is kind of a boring symbol - but they are to represent balance, being the middle ground, being a peace keeper, and more - not weight. there were so many creative directions this could have taken. I love your channel, the doll is beautiful, but the concept is hurtful.

Yeah. People always forget about Libras
Libra is a very very interesting sign. I actually did a drawing based on the sign. It's got a lot of interesting connections to it. It's obviously very much similar to the Justice Tarot, which is a karma card. It's an air sign so a very logical one. It's ruled by Venus and is represented by light or even the rainbow. It's also got some connections with Lucifer the Light bringer who is an angel but also known as the devil, with connections to Venus. This is fitting since Libra will look at both sides of an arguement before making decisions, giving this almost devil angel balancing scale. They are the judges.
It also reminds me of the Egyptian God Anubis who uses weighing scales.
Libra is not a boring sign. It is a very very interesting one. Definitely not one I would overlook personally.

Libras are romantic, have a strong sense of justice, have a BIG trouble with choices, we like to be complemented, kind and again, we can't choose anything quickly. We don't struggle with our image because we love ourselves. I am truly upset with this doll. I waited so long for something that is not a true representation of us. I feel as though (without any disrespect) that it would make sense to have a Libra doing yoga or something relaxing and elegant, as yoga requires a lot of patience and balance much like a Libra has.
But libras are also very sensitive people so to have them be represented in this way, despite me not being a Libra, just makes me feel bad for them. My mum has been dealing with weight issues as a Libra and I can’t help but to feel bad for her, and for many others.

Hey! So I’m a Libra (birthday is today actually) and I love your channel, I think it’s awesome. But I also happen to really have issues with body image, and I’ve had eating disorders in the past. I know it wasn’t at all intentional, but this doll repaint was really disappointing, since I waited for my birthday to watch it and was really excited all year for “my” doll, and it turned out to bring up some really hard feelings for me. Again, I love your videos, and I know you’ve made an effort in the past to be inclusive of all different kinds of people, so I’m sure this wasn’t purposeful, but I wanted to just let you know, since weight is such a vulnerable area for young women especially, which your audience mainly is, that even something this innocently-intentioned could bring up rough stuff for us.
The doll as always is adorable but I’m a little disappointed in the interpretation. As a Libra the scales represent balance which is a huge theme in my life. Although now that I think about it the there is a balance here between working out and eating too much. Never mind. I’m ok with it lol

I don’t think RUclips realizes that some people make videos on RUclips for a living....so they can pay rent, take showers, have food, fill their cars and sleep in a bed.....not cool RUclips not cool. Imagine if your livelihood was taken away from you. But I guess that is hard to imagine since you are making all the big bucks while great RUclipsrs are struggling.
I think they can imagine, since the humans that work there are being steadily replaced by cold, uncaring robots.... Don't forget, if they're being that awful to their own people, they won't bat an eye about the concerns of the users of their platform...
As a Libra don't really feel like this doll represents me very well lol. But she's still beautiful as always. Perhaps since Libras are so indecisive you could have made a doll in pajamas looking at a closet full of clothes and having her hand up to her chin like she's deciding, or somehow show the indecisiveness.
