Really nice explanations, it isn’t very common that instructors tell which key does what, also noteworthy are the written procedures overlaid on the video. I usually don’t like videos that exceed 10-12 minutes, but this one was very entertaining to see. I have already practiced with the 29 for a month, but even so learned a few things that I missed on my read of the manual :) thanks a lot for this Series.
Thanks man, I just purchased DCS and Mig-29 today, my Mig span around and kept failing to take off until I watched your video (cuz I only started left engine)
You don't start second engine right after first one reach 34%, time when запуск лев, turned off. You wait untill your engine get to relant, 68-72%. Irl you have many more things and checks to do before starting second engine and taxing to a runway. Oxygen is zero and it should be 100%, panel is not closed, at least instruments didn't show that, navigation light (ANO and ACL) are turned on at the end of start up and canopy should be closed before starting engines. I've seen few more thing that are not as it should be, but for a game this is great. And it's nice tutorial. Keep up with good work. 😁
Only thing that's is not good for pilot in that plane is that your oxygen is 0 😅 I work as a technician for plane and engines ( mechanic) at Mig29 and i can tell that this is very realistic. Ofc aome things are missing or not done as it is in real life, but this is amazing. If they added a mechanic in front of plane that communicate with pilot at startup it would be 95% as real life.
The flaps on MiG-29 have two positions. Take Of and Landing. The lights indicating the flaps have one line and two lines. You have to do correct settings. Have a good flights :)
No, has only one positions. MiG-29 got two positions control panel just because the manufacturer kept the original equipment from 21/23 earlier models for compatibility. But the plane (even in real life too) has only one position for flaps, doesn't matter witch button you press on the control switch. So, he said well I am afraid.
@@pinmiklos That's right. One position for flaps and slots only. Not sure why it is with 2 positions here. I think irl there is only one position for flaps on that instrument.
Excellent tutorial. Helped me as a newbie to make the first flight in the mig 😍. But why was my plane the whole time beeping? (All my planes beep without a break. I dont know what i‘m doing wrong) :) Some planes should have a hammer in the cockpit to fix some problems quickly
I tried to start both engines together but it is not working, the engine is not starting at all, do you have any idea, i have this problem with j11A and all Mig 29 but i dont have this problem with su27 and su33
that's the Radar Warning Receiver, it beeps every time your plane is "painted" by the radar. If you are being locked, the beep intensifies into a continuous tone. Not sure if you can switch it off but the default keybind is right shift m or right shift n if i remember.
And they shouldn't. Irl, and obviously in game, nose wheel sterreng (MPK in Russian and it's locater at РУД, throttle contorl) doesn't work because of safety. When flaps are down it means you are ready to take off and you don't wannt to accidentally turn too much because you would crash. That's why you can't use that control with flaps down and can steer only at small angles to fix your path while taking off or landing. Sorry for late response but i see no one answered to you. Good luck

Flight Simulator with MiG-29 or Sukhoi SU-27 is amazing !!

I think that feature was disabled or 'corrected'
I fixed the problem 😁
@@m.h.chemist7841 how so
i dont have 29s in control options!
do you own a mig29?
Awesome video man 👍 do you ever do flight training with anyone in game?
my plane wont move. i have zero idea whats happening. uh is there a parking brake
Good video if you want to know how to start using a computer.
hey man i did exactly that but im getting beeping sound in cockpit, any idea?
Got the same thing u solved it?
Thats RWR probably

Can it be played in laptops
As long as the laptop has a strong enough graphics card.
@@OverkillSimulations 2gb Nvidia graphic card is ok or it requires more than that
@@dannymanman3760 That is scraping the minimum... it wouldn't be a very pleasant experience..
@@OverkillSimulations That's mean it requires 6-8 GB graphic card..
