Honestly just nice to hear another human with competent thoughts on anything. Also someone with a vast knowledge of the field they’re in. Thank you for creating.
I think you are onto something with the Balcan vibes, because she partially grew up in Kosovo where her family comes from. Loved the ABBA and Willie Nelson references! AVAA!
I was waiting for this review! Her previous Future Nostalgia was so much fun, that I really loved it! Radical Optimism is a bit disappointing to me, but I liked your analysis! AVAA
new fan but just wanted to say thanks for this video and opening up a different perspective on this album and making me appreciate it way more than i did on a first listen. my first listen i walked away thinking it was just tame impala b-sides with dua vocals on top of it but watching this then relistening gave me a totally different perspective and one i can appreciate a lot more. i definitely hear the more RAM era daft punk on this one compared to the homework era sounds of future nostalgia. and listening closer to all the themes throughout was great. gonna binge your vids now. i appreciate it. thanks!
Thank you for reviewing this album. I can go back and give the album a second listen to pick up on all that you’ve pointed out and appreciate the songs more.
Seeing you gain 20k subscribers in a day because of the analysis of the Drake diss is amazing, I hope your new more mainstream fanbase is going to to tap into your underground abstract rap reviews😂
- Appreciate the perspective - still getting into this album but loved Future Nostalgia. And credit for referencing the cogito. You came on my feed for the beef analyses but definitely getting into your perspective on these reviews. - Thanks for the reminder - I missed out on Girl in Red and need to circle back to it. - These four producers are so solid and massive credit to Dua for gathering them together. Kirkpatrick has a hand in some of my favorite pop songs from the last few years.
I spent an entire year only listening to top 40 radio while in my car. It was the year of Olivia Rodgrigo, Dua Lipa and Lil Nas X...apart from the annoying commercials, and monotony of the playlist, it was a great time, honestly. I have nothing but praise for Dua Lipa. She reminds me of everything I loved about disco in the 70s...and yes, now that you mention it, I went back and listened to Training Season and I heard that Abba synth bit. It's the first four notes of the melody and it's the same phrasing as Lay All Your Love on Me (Thank you good pair of headphones!) That is my favorite Abba song. Great catch. I can hear what you are talking about with the Balkan style vocals on Anything for Love. It sounds like a Eurovision song.
23:00 your break down of this song referencing these walls reminds me of the song on TBAP that plays on the same expression, perhaps their meanings are connected/sinilar?
For me future nostalgia was near perfect, loved pretty much every song. This album doesnt quite hit the same way for me, but it's different and i really love some individual songs.
AVAA, you should definitely listen to Dua’s last album. For me, this record was a step down in quality. Future Nostalgia is probably top 10 pop albums of the last decade, give it a try!
AVAA I know that you don’t me to mention this and my comment won’t affect your amazing work but you don’t have to follow the algorithm with the drake beef. You do you and us real fans will (almost) always like your analysis!!
your daughter and wife are coming around on it because the more you listen to a song the more you like it with that said, cool thoughts, ABBA + Daft Punk with a little Chemical X is a good analogy
Professor, how do you define Pop? Because I think that Cowboy Carter and The Tortured Poets Department are Pop albums 🙂 You need to make a video about it.
AAVA. missing an obvious big name with Nile Rodgers for early big name Madonna producer in the same fashion as a big-name producer like Antonoff, Parker, etc.
AVAA! When you say you dislike Lady Gaga, does that include her single "You and I" from Born This Way? I think its a beautiful country rock ballad, doing the neat genderflipping thing you mentioned in this review, and it has a ripping Brian May solo!
DUDE! You're insane. You compared just about every notes of this Masterpiece to somebody else but forgot the most important fact. All of these little bits and pieces of heaven makes for the best dance music I've heard since Shania Twain and Mutt Lange collab. Dua has delivered to all audiophiles of our world, back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back (get my point?) dance hits after dance hits like Shania in her hay days.
Nice, I appreciate your review although I feel sad that you can't appreciate anything by Gaga! She has such range, I thought there would be something for everyone in her catalogue. Do not worry your hair looked great throughout the video!
AVAA I wouldn’t call argylle the worst movie I’ve ever seen (you can see the hint of a good idea for some action set pieces) but it is definitely the worst of the year by far
Came here for the Drake and Kenny beef. Love your insight with that and also with this album. Also appreciated you shouting out some other great creators, FD Signifier and Patrick CC specifically-don’t see them get brought up with all the reaction content I’ve seen the last week. Subbed!
AVAA Skye, I did not look at your hair. Also, to echo what a few other folks are saying in the comments: check out Dua Lipa's second album, Future Nostalgia!
Prof, i wanted to put this comment in your most recent video but looking at the fact that it's in the thousands i decided to put it here. The battle between Kendrick and Drake is obviously one of culture among other things. I'm black, i love Eminem. I listen to only him, Kendrick and Coast Contra. Is Eminem in the same category as Drake? Is he also a "culture vulture" as some people will like to put it?
Professor, I got a different Dua for you. Please review the album, “Love & Service,” by Brother Ali, produced by UnJust 🙏🏿 It is a breath of fresh air from someone very underrated
Hey, i'd like to make a correction, I think you missed the point of Happy For You, or better yet, missed the point of Olivia's good 4 u, because you say they are the same and thematically they're LITERALLY the oposite. Happy For You is Dua actually saying "hey i loved you so much that even tho we're not together anymore i'm happy you look happy with someone" and good 4 u is Olivia screaming "oh yeah, you're better off without me? good for you! (ironically), better yet? fuck you.". Also it's funny that you didn't like Maria, cause for me it's such an interesting approach to dealing with your partner's ex in a very healthy and mature way, specially coming from a woman in a society that pushes women against each other all the time you know? But hey, nice to see a cishet white dude jamming and appreciating them pop girlies too, I enjoyed the video.
I think I understand why your last video went viral, a lot of people are sharing clips of your videos on twitter in posts that have several thousands of retweets, +40,000 likes and millions of views per post. I'm guessing a lot of people came to check out the main video from that!
If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you...prevent inflation and invest. Now
Hallelujah!!!! The daily jesus devotional has been a huge part of my transformation, God is good 🙌🙌 I was owning a loan of $47,000 to the bank for my son's brain surgery (David), Now I'm no longer in debt after I invested $12,000 and got my payout of m $200,500 every months, God bless Jason Graystone fx
I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $20k - $25k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this yea

Wow that's nice he makes you that much!! please is there a way to reach is services, I'm work 3 jobs and trying to pay off my debts for a while now!! Please help
AVAA, the prof is blowing up cuz of the beef but we real ones gotta keep watching every vid 😤
truth.
@@roramdinOh hi!
The professor skye fans are glad the beef got him so much exposure, but the real fans are glad he can now have his roughage. AVAA ❤
This channel is about ruffage, but maybe the beef will bring more to the table
Honestly just nice to hear another human with competent thoughts on anything. Also someone with a vast knowledge of the field they’re in. Thank you for creating.
The no editing is strangely refreshing
Music nerds are underrating this album. Thanks for the review! AVAA

AVAA I think your last video "Three Failures of Drake" is already your most viewed video ever! Congrats✨
Finally!!! :) Happy to hear an alternate perspective on this album that everybody's dumping on.
Lemme guess, Twitter
Don’t love this one as much as Future Nostalgia, but the themes and the different sounds was fun. It definitely has cuts that are replay-able!
Dua Lipa as the Knight of Faith... never thought this is how I'd spend Wednesday morning.
Thank you for reviewing this album. I can go back and give the album a second listen to pick up on all that you’ve pointed out and appreciate the songs more.
Yeah Kylie's australian. She actually did a song with dua lipa called 'Real Groove' which i absolutely love

Great review, loving the album and the production by Harle myself
Keep doing what you’re doing it’s great content and you give great insight. The algorithm has a way of promoting good content.
you are awesome man keep making videos 😃
For me future nostalgia was near perfect, loved pretty much every song. This album doesnt quite hit the same way for me, but it's different and i really love some individual songs.
Crazy how much your Drake video blew up!!! Awesome to see
Now it’s your turn to blow up!! You and the prof the best music youtubers atm
Yes, Kylie is australian and you are great, sir!
AVAA, you should definitely listen to Dua’s last album. For me, this record was a step down in quality. Future Nostalgia is probably top 10 pop albums of the last decade, give it a try!
I wish you listened to Spanish rap bc damn I'd love it if you could get this depth for like Residente
Nice review :) I'm excited to see if you're doing the new Alchemist, Big Hit, & Hitboy album

Came for the beef stayed for the salad wig

Video ideas: your opinion on Eurovision Song Contest?
AAVA. missing an obvious big name with Nile Rodgers for early big name Madonna producer in the same fashion as a big-name producer like Antonoff, Parker, etc.
I've always thought it was called an Irish Goodbye because when you get so wasted you kinda just zombie walk out of the party
Where was the PinkPantheress review? 😢
Loved future nostalgia and thought this one was good for what it was tho I understand the criticisms.
AVAA!

Can’t tell whether that’s a positive comment or not help
Great review aside from reference to “Good For You” lol. Please read the lyrics to both. The songs are not at all coming from the same place.
Nice, I appreciate your review although I feel sad that you can't appreciate anything by Gaga! She has such range, I thought there would be something for everyone in her catalogue. Do not worry your hair looked great throughout the video!
Dua Lipa is the Goddess Athena, in human form, in our lifetime.
AVAA! You got another one!
What AVAA means?
AVAA, i’d love to hear what you think of Florence’s last album “Dance Fever”
AVAA I wouldn’t call argylle the worst movie I’ve ever seen (you can see the hint of a good idea for some action set pieces) but it is definitely the worst of the year by far

AVAA, I would love to see your analysis of the new cavalier album. Have you checked it out already?
But why the french library background? Any interest in french culture?
Prof, i wanted to put this comment in your most recent video but looking at the fact that it's in the thousands i decided to put it here. Dua Lipa’s parents are both from Kosovo so that is why there might be some Balkan influence in her music
I prof. I really want to be your student but i ventured into computer science soo...😢
avaa my dumb (lovely) sister immediately didn't like it bc it wasn't as good as future nostalgia
Professor, I got a different Dua for you.
Please review the album, “Love & Service,” by Brother Ali, produced by UnJust 🙏🏿

what about you made me a st4r by 4batz ?

Finna watch argyle lol
My takeaway from this whole video is that you hate Lady Gaga's music. What on Earth??
AVAA
AVAA! Congrats on the Drake vid blowing up! This beef has been really great for everyone who isn’t Drake
For touching into the beef… l will be watching every video from now.

Thanks to my co-worker (Alex) who suggested Jason Graystone fx for me
Great to see you guys talking about him, he changed the game for me.
