- Warryn and Erica Campbell blessed the Praise Philly Inspiration and Music Conference in the "How I Wrote That Song" Workshop on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Warryn talks about how he penned the AMAZING song "He Is" for Brandy's Full Moon album, and the amazing Erica Campbell chimed in about Brandy's awesome talents. Oh yea, and is it not apparent that the Campbells are SO in love. I LOVE it!!! :)

I knew this song was more of an awareness of God. From the time I heard it , I was like hold on, this is not a song just a man but The Creator.

Praise God for this AWESOME share!!! Blessed my life. I've always loved this song and never knew who wrote it--surprise Warryn Campbell aka "Erica's husband". What a testimony. I love the way Warryn talks about co-creating with God in his songwriting and how Erica swoops in and supports the testimony in talking about the art of technique in singing. This is a perfect testimony of teamwork in marriage for a calling greater than oneself. Amazing to witness. #AwesomePower♡♢♡

I understand that Brandy could have had a fase where she was trying to figure out who God was for herself but is not like she did grow up singing in church. Willie Norwood, aka Brandy's father, was a minister and he was in charge of their church choir back in the day and that's why her family moved to L.A. in the first place. So I don't understand why people act like Brandy is somone who doesn't know anything about God.

alot of people who grew up in the church don't mean the church is in them if that makes sense , be blessed .now.
Just. Because u grow up in a church does not mean u know god so many ppl just follow the tradition u have to experience god for ya self

Okay that explains a lot. I'm a gospel music head but I felt like listening to some Brandy. So I put on the Full Moon album and I was listening to He Is and all I could think about was God and I felt going in a worship fit and I'm at my job listening to it and feeling like this is so weird. But then I was like let me turn this off because I'm about to shout up in my job and I'm about to get fired. 😆 Okay so this explanation helps make sense of how I was feeling.
